From September 23 to 27, the VII Moscow International Festival “Circle of Light” will take place in Moscow. Impressive light and sound performances will be presented free of charge at seven venues.

Architectural video mapping - projection volumetric images on city buildings and structures - can be seen on the Ostankino Tower, which this year celebrates its half-century anniversary. The opening ceremony will end with a 15-minute grandiose pyrotechnic show involving the Ostankino Tower.

Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve

From September 23 to 27, Tsaritsyno Park will appear for visitors in a new fairy light. Spectators can expect an audiovisual show at the Grand Catherine Palace, a live performance by an art group Soprano Turkish to the accompaniment of light and music, a mesmerizing show of fountains on Tsaritsynsky pond and amazing light installations.

In Tsaritsyno you can admire the show on all festival days dancing fountains. Water jets will be illuminated using special installations. The musical background of the performance will be works from the repertoire of Mikhail Glinka, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Prokofiev and other Russian composers.

Also on September 24, the art group Soprano will perform for guests of Tsaritsyno Park. The debutant of the festival will be the Maly Theater, the facade of which will be united by the plot with the Bolshoi Theater. “One story will smoothly move from one building to another,” says Vladimir Demekhin, creative director of the LBL Communication Group. Two light shows will be shown here: “Celestial Mechanics” - about loneliness and love, and “Timeless” - stories based on the works of Russian playwrights. Demekhin reminds that the Maly Theater carefully preserves the traditions of Russian theatrical arts, therefore, from its facade, Alexander Nikolaevich Ostrovsky himself, as the symbol and soul of the theater, will invite viewers on a journey through time. “On two facades there will be unique decorations created according to historical sketches, scenes from cult performances will unfold, and their authors will not miss the opportunity to present their work, talk to each other and even joke,” continues Demekhin.
