Natalia Bardo: “Refusal of explicit scenes helped me fulfill my dream and play in a war film. Natalya Bardo: “Refusal of explicit scenes helped me fulfill my dream and play in a war film Natalya Bardo interview

And actress Natalya Bardo is an example of how to be in several places at the same time, manage to work and relax, raise a son, while remaining a kind and positive person and, of course, looking good. On the eve of our interview, Natalya had a poster shoot for a new series, and in the evening she had two events, both at the same time. She came to us in the morning with perfect makeup in lilac tones (which she did herself) - fresh and rested. I also managed to sort through my cosmetics at night to talk about my favorite products. About this and more - in an interview with BeautyHack!

-Tell me, what are you doing now?

The season started with us confirming several projects. The first is “Flying Crew” on STS, with Lesha Chadov we play the title roles. This is a story about a woman pilot with whom men refuse to fly, but at the same time she is very capable and wants to continue the work of her father, a talented pilot.

The second project is also on STS, called “Bloggers”. With very cool cast: Ira Gorbacheva, Masha Shalaeva, Regina Todorenko and Agata Muceniece are playing with me.

In October we will begin filming the second season of “Favorites,” where I play the wife of the main character Misha Bashkatov. Plus, now Marius Weisberg (editor's note - director, husband of Natalia Bardo) is editing the film “Night Shift”, where the main characters are Volodya Yaglych, Pasha Derevianko, Emin Agalarov, Ksenia Teplova, Anna Mikhailovskaya and me. This is very funny comedy, in which I play a stripper. Marius knows how to make comedies that become a little classic - “Love in big city", "8 new dates." This comedy will be released in December.

- On the question of how to keep up with everything. How do you plan your time?

Now the moment has come when I realized that I can’t cope on my own, I need help. If before I lived with a calendar in my hand and did not sleep at all, now my assistant Elina plans everything. Because in addition to filming a movie, I want to do a lot of other things: communicate more with my child, attend events, do photo shoots, interviews, meet with friends, and look good at the same time. I have two more apartment renovations, the design of which I develop myself. I love it so much!

Therefore, when they ask me how to manage everything, I say that I need good team: assistant, driver, foreman, even understanding friends who can sometimes adapt to your schedule. This support is very important.

- How and when do you rest?

Only in three cases: if I’m leaving Moscow, if I’m having a massage, and if I’m lying in the bathroom. I can't relax any other way.

I like to add Japanese colorful salts to my bath. That's what I have blue water, then it’s green - I sprinkle everything in a row. I light the candles and am left alone with my thoughts. Because there are so many people around, so much information, the brain is always on its toes.

For a complete vacation, you need, of course, two weeks at sea - so that you get tired of the vacation and want to go back. But if I have at least a couple of free days, I try to leave.

As a child, you played sports, ballet, and studied to become an economist. How did you decide to move into another field altogether? What inspired you to do this?

Yes, my dad was an athlete, a European champion in athletics, so he didn’t even imagine that my life would be connected not with sports. My mother always felt sorry for me and took me away - first from ballet, then from gymnastics. In the end, sports didn’t work out, although these skills help me now.

When I was at school, my mother and I decided that I needed to become an economist. But at the age of 14 I found myself on the set with my mother’s friend, and this environment fascinated me. Moreover, at that moment I did not think that I wanted to be an actress. I even thought about becoming a makeup artist because I was always somehow in love with makeup. But when they started filming me as a child in small episodes, I realized that I wanted to be on camera.

I went to the Shchukin School myself. At the same time, she studied at the Banking Institute at the Academy. Plekhanov - I promised my mother that I would get a diploma. I received a diploma, but devoted almost all my time to the Shchukin School. I remember we even spent the night there sometimes. I would not like to return to school, but I always want to return to the Shchukin School. I even remember the smell of this university - the costume shop, old stairs, dusty backstage... I studied with the dream and hope that I would play in the theater.

- Why cinema then?

I was supposed to play a graduation performance, but at that moment I got to audition for the series, and they took me. This was my first series - “Veronica”, it was shown on the “Russia” channel. Filming took place in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Poland, and Belarus. And it turned out to be more difficult than I thought. Cinema means jumping into icy water and wandering through the forest, that is, being prepared for anything. In Sri Lanka I was bitten by insects, I even had surgery. There was so much going on, at that moment I changed my attitude towards the profession. And she began acting in TV series and movies.

- You lived in Los Angeles. Tell us about your life there. How is it different from Moscow?

I was pregnant in Los Angeles. Whether this was specifically related to pregnancy, or whether the city was truly special, I felt care everywhere there, and unobtrusively at that. You can go to a cool restaurant in your pajamas, and they will be happy to see you there. When you come to the store, you feel... a free man: sellers do not intrusively surround you, you buy what you want.

For some reason the most vivid impressions in Los Angeles I have connections to the road. I often remember this moment. When I was pregnant, every morning I got up at 7 am and went to English classes. She got into the car, sometimes borrowed a convertible from her husband, and drove along an empty road. The journey took exactly 37 minutes. Morning, comfortable temperature, palm trees, the sun is shining through them, very bright green grass. In Los Angeles, even the greenery is a special color.

I was born into a poor family and very often admired what I didn’t have. I didn’t envy, but rather rejoiced - I sincerely wanted the same. After Los Angeles, I realized that I have everything and I want to share it. And the fact that I don’t have to be like everyone else. For some reason, we have a habit of changing our attitude towards a person if he says something wrong or comes in the wrong clothes. In Los Angeles this is not the case, any feature is perceived as your feature - it’s you, it’s yours and it’s cool that you’re not trying to be someone else.

After Los Angeles, I came to Moscow and realized that around me there would only be what I really needed. And it’s better to part with those people who choose people wearing masks. And people in masks get tired over time and begin to look for life in something real. The ability to relax and be yourself allows you to be happy. If you think that you have no right to make a mistake, that it is better to remain silent than to say your opinion, this indicates that you are not free internally, hence all the pressures. I was in this situation before.

A different taste is also imparted. If we associate beauty with design, things, beauty salons, then beauty there is when you arrive at the beach at 7 in the morning, for example, in Malibu, sit and look at the ocean, at how the seagulls fly. Even if there is garbage lying around you, you get high, you breathe this clean air, you see these people who don’t look at what you’re wearing, but smile and tell you, “ Good morning, Have a good day".

Now I continue to live in two countries. I can’t leave yet because I have a lot of work, but as soon as I have time, I will definitely go.

- How did your life change with the birth of Eric?

My eyes lit up even more. I wanted even more of everything. I associate this with maternal instinct. If earlier I came to auditions and thought “well, now I need to play well, show myself well,” now I began to come to auditions to literally take away this role. If I need to cry, I really cry, if I laugh, then with all my might, if I dance, then with all my heart. I began to give my all even more, and this helps me a lot.

In general, I began to understand what life is. When I come to the dacha with a child, I play with him - I understand that this is the most important thing. I always want to prolong this feeling, but I have to tear myself away and get into the working rhythm.

How did you get into shape after pregnancy?

We shot the first shots of “Night Shift” 2 months after giving birth. I gained 23 kilograms, but I had to get in shape very quickly. 2 weeks after giving birth, I started doing Pilates and completely switched to a healthy diet.

But due to the fact that I put such stress on my body, I, unfortunately, could not feed the child and was in a state of drive all the time, I could not sleep. I fell asleep at 3, woke up at 6, the period was turbulent. But I returned to sports almost immediately, and my work helped with this. For new projects I had to be physically fit, so I started boxing and pole dancing. This is a huge load, but it tightens the whole body.

- Do you have beauty rituals?

I don't go to salons, I do everything myself. For example, I used to make ice cubes, but now such cubes have appeared at Anne Semonin. If I don't like the way I look in the morning, I take these ice cubes and wipe my face with them.

In general, I think that you need to learn to do everything yourself - I can do both makeup and hair. I even took several lessons in makeup from makeup artist Natasha Malova. If I hadn’t done this once, I definitely wouldn’t be able to do anything now.

In my bathroom, everything is always laid out on shelves: several hair dryers, curling irons, elastic bands, hairpins, bobby pins... A separate shelf for tone, a separate one for blush. And what’s most interesting is that I use it all!

- Do you have any favorite remedies?

I really love Anne Semonin cleansing gel, Bobbi Brown foundation, Becca highlighter, M.A.C eye shadow, Lancôme mascara.

Last night, apparently in anticipation of our meeting, I couldn’t calm down and started sorting out my cosmetics. I sorted out all the lipsticks and laid them out beautifully in boxes. There are a lot of cosmetics: I constantly buy new products and try them different brushes. I have so many brushes! I need to figure it out!

- If you were a scent, what would it be?

Memo Granada. Everyone says that it is very tart and rich, but I don’t feel it on myself.

Interview and text: Olga Kulygina Photo: Evgeniy Sorbo We thank the China Club restaurant for their help in organizing the interview.

I haven’t resorted to masks made from natural products, I can only put a cucumber under my eyes or strawberries on my cheeks. In general, the secret to glowing skin is simple: full healthy sleep, proper nutrition and a positive attitude.

About Botox and beauty injections

I am very afraid of injections, and I found an alternative procedure L.Raphael. Its main ingredient is diamonds. They are ground into microfine dust, which, when applied locally with a strong stream of air, gently exfoliates the skin, evening out its texture and tone, and restoring its natural radiance.

To more serious salon cosmetic procedures(like Botox or mesotherapy) I could resort to only after 45 years, if everything gets really bad (laughs).

About nutrition, sports and strip plastic

Even though I'm a fan healthy eating, sometimes I still allow myself anti-fasting days, when I can eat, for example, a burger or pizza. But mostly I eat fairly bland food without salt and pepper. I always try to listen to my body and eat what it requires. In the morning I eat chia seeds seasoned with coconut or rice milk with fruit. I usually have soup for lunch, salad or fish for dinner.

Natalia Bardo (27) amazingly beautiful young actress! I want to look at her without stopping. And it seems that this is quite enough: the form is so good that the content is not important. However, when you hear her voice with a slight hoarseness, follow her eyes, follow the train of her thoughts, you understand that she fascinates not with her appearance, but with some kind of magical inner charm that does not let you go for a second. I was lucky to spend with Natasha one of the Friday evenings and find out in which projects we will soon see her, what she is proud of in her career, what she dreams of and why she has no complexes.

ABOUT WORK Before New Year I don't have any filming planned. And to be honest, I'm already going crazy. I want to run to the site as soon as possible! In the near future, projects with my participation will be released, such as the series "Lost" on the channel STS, movie "Scenario" on Channel One, "The Last Frontier" for the channel Russia and full-length films "Friday" And "Love with Limits". "Friday"- a film with a megastar cast and a very sophisticated plot. I can guarantee that this is a real feeling of the holiday and that very Friday that is usually meant. And my role there, although simple, is bright. I am some kind of fairy that the hero dreamed of. As the producers say: “You are the personification of this film.”. Asos jumpsuit, Philipp Plein fur coat, Jimmy Choo sandals

But Zhenya Shelyakin (39), the director of the film, believes that my heroine is perfect girl in the minds of all men

So alluring, with sparkling eyes, a smile and constantly disappearing. This is a very important film for me. The very feeling that the picture will appear on big screen, – very exciting. I want to be at the premiere to feel how people react, to recharge my spirits, to find out their opinion.

ABOUT THE CINEMA For me, the career of an actress has always been attractive precisely because of the film set. I went there for the first time at the age of 14 and, of course, immediately fell in love with this dizzying atmosphere. Not in the movies extra people, this is such a huge hive, which is very interesting to be inside. The team is very important to me. The energy that arises in me when I am at the epicenter of a common cause cannot be compared with anything. And if among other professions there are people who do not like their work, then in cinema there are no such people. I can't imagine my life without this.

ABOUT POPULARITY I do get recognized a lot. After the project "Mr. and Mrs. Media" Men began to recognize me because I was such a daring beauty with red lips. If you are without makeup, wearing a hat and a down jacket, then women will recognize you because they watched the series "Veronica" on the channel Russia. But if I’m wearing a miniskirt, they’ll recognize me from the series "Angelica".

ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM A professional in an acting career is a loose concept. Everyone can say that this person is a professional because he is talented, another because he knows the technique well, a third just looks good on camera. And I'm a professional because I know what I need to do. I know what I need to understand in order to do well. I am at ease, and this is important.

ABOUT STAR ILLNESS It happens that an artist comes to some event, fans come up to him and ask: “Can I take a photo with you?” The artist either does not react or answers: "Please, not now". And they immediately put a label on him, saying he’s sick! But no one thinks that at that moment the artist, for example, gets a call from his mother to say that she has a fever and that the director is waiting outside the door because he needs to go to rehearsal. Yes, the arrow on the tights has simply moved, but we have to go on stage in five minutes! This is not taken into account. Yes, it’s probably wrong when people come up to you in a calm atmosphere, and you send everyone away.
But we are not robots.

What if you just leave the house in felt boots and without makeup to buy cucumbers or milk, and you want to abstract yourself from everyone, hide, because today is clearly not your day? And people think: “Well, that’s it, star!” There are artists who believe that they have no right to leave the house without dressing up. But, as a rule, these are those who do not have such a busy schedule. There are no actors who always look good

. And a person cannot be the same for everyone: for fans, friends, loved ones, parents.

Vogue Eyewear glasses "Veronica" ABOUT THE SERIES “VERONICA” Oddly enough, I’m proud of the series . This project took two years of my life, where I met my first director-teacher(32), which gave me a lot. I was offended, cried, he scolded me, but I gained a wealth of knowledge that accompanies me both in cinema and in life. This series very correctly presented me with exactly the audience that I wanted to reach. And I value it very much.

During filming, I graduated from drama school, made friends, and entered this world as if it were my home. I never had this feeling before. There were main roles, good episodes, but I didn’t live for it. Today's projects are a great experience, but I don't live it the way I lived Veronica. ABOUT COMPLEXES Mom and Dad constantly ask me: “Do you have any complexes at all?” I understand that it is bad when they are not there. But I grow them in myself. (Laughs.) I used to have an excellent student complex; I wanted to please everyone. Then it suddenly went away. I consider myself happy man: I like the way I look, I like my surroundings . I don't know how to get there. It’s inside – you just have to be able to believe. I may not be a very talented artist, but I am definitely a very talented person.

Because I can force myself to believe in anything. After all, this is the main task of the artist - to believe in the proposed circumstances.

I do it well.

Film and television actress Natalya Bardo, who is now happily expecting a child - from her chosen one, director Marius Weisberg, told HELLO! about the components of your style. There is no doubt that her style is special. The surname is like that of the famous Brigitte - and her ambitions are no less than those of her French colleague. Natalya does not recognize halftones and always “goes by principle” - both in work and in her personal life. Everything in this life should happen gradually so that you have time to feel the changes. And if success and fame immediately overtake you, it can simply crush you,” says Natalya Bardo. She, who gradually passed all the “exams” on the way to

The film is not easy - three hours of makeup every day, a heavy overcoat, cold that cuts through to the bones. But such an important and sensitive topic! I've been waiting for this role for a very long time. I tried to play as sincerely as possible, and I hope I succeeded. After the premiere of the film in America, people suddenly even started coming up to me on the streets and giving me compliments. Natalya moved to America at the beginning of the year: the father of her unborn child, director Marius Weisberg, lives here. Natasha has not yet spoken about her next responsible role - as a mother. But she is happy to talk about the setting of our interview - Los Angeles, which always reminds her of her first acquaintance with the world of cinema.

Los Angeles is a city where films are being made at every turn, somewhat similar to a scene from my childhood. Then, at the age of 14, thanks to my mother’s friend, I first came to film set- A movie was filmed in Gorky Park. This special world immediately fascinated me - running lighting crews, cameramen, an important director in the chair. And I decided that I would break through there no matter what. But mother said: “What is this business to entertain someone?” She thought acting profession frivolous, and the future connected with the economy seemed to her much more promising. And I, on my mother’s advice, still enrolled in economics.

But then you transferred to the theater?

One day I was walking along Arbat and went down one of the alleys near the Shchukin School. The students were rehearsing something and seemed so happy and free that I immediately transferred to the correspondence department and began preparing for admission. And I entered "Pike" the first time. And I never regretted my choice.

And there were no moments when you wanted to give up everything: unsuccessful castings, closed doors?

The acting profession is a continuous series of worries. If you take on the role - happiness. They won’t take it - it’s as if the world has collapsed. And sometimes your dream role appears and you are surprised: the auditions were so bad, but they took you. (Laughs.) But I like it even more: it allows you to see perspectives and stay on your toes.

The publicity of the profession probably also keeps you in good shape: after all, you are constantly in sight - at premieres and red carpets...

I have several trusted stylists with whom I am on the same wavelength. They know that in an outfit I should not only look, but also feel like a queen - that’s when everyone will notice it. Therefore, I will never wear a super nice thing if I feel that it doesn’t quite suit me. And from childhood, my parents instilled in me that looking like everyone else is a sign of bad taste. You need to find something special and mix any branded dress with original details. In this regard, domestic designers are very helpful - Rasario, Alexander Terekhov, A LA RUSSE Anastasia Romantsova: they will always warn who has recently worn a similar outfit and make sure that everything is exclusive.

Does America have a similar approach to going out?

It’s more difficult here: black tie is strictly observed here, even at the Oscars everyone comes in seasoned suits. In Russia, there are more opportunities to show your individuality on the red carpet. For example, I am very glad that in Sochi, at the opening of last year’s Kinotavr, stylist Alesya Matyashchuk and I sculpted the dress of our dreams together. According to her sketches, one of the fashion studios sewed a wonderful flowing dress, lush, with a wasp waist. True, no matter how much I love the gloss of evening dresses and social events, after the ball, like Cinderella, I prefer to dress in more comfortable things. But then I still start to miss red carpets. (Laughs.)

With such love for your profession, is it probably not easy for you to build relationships with loved ones?

Therefore, I preferred the option of my loved ones who also love movies. (Laughs.) After all, an ordinary man will not understand all the intricacies of my work: that there are overtime and night shifts, that I can leave at one in the morning and return only during the day. And at the same time I will look absolutely satisfied - because I like what I do. What kind of man would want such a life? Only the one who is himself connected with art.

You are a sought-after actress, your companion is a director. Is it easy for two creative people to get along?

When we first met, Marius offered me a role in the film "Eight best dates", but I immediately answered no. I was then starring in three films, a small role was of no use. But in response to the refusal, he offered to develop my character. This only strengthened my decision to refuse: I suspected that he was experiencing sympathy for me, and decided not to aggravate it, because I am against office romances, they only interfere with work. And then he simply invited me to a cafe. We talked for six hours straight, and we had similar views on many things. For example, that work should remain work, and personal life- exist separately. And that’s how we’ve been prioritizing since then.

Has pregnancy affected your priorities?

To be honest, I haven’t fully realized that I will soon become a mother, so I think about work a lot and often! The release of two of my films is planned for 2016 - “Lost” and “Love with Limits”. There are several projects in development, so I'm not slowing down - I'm still on my toes. (Smiles.)

On the eve of Victory Day, the Russia 1 TV channel will premiere the military drama “The Last Frontier,” in which the fragile-looking 28-year-old Natalya Bardo played the brave nurse Katya. In life, the actress exudes sophistication, grace and style, which she demonstrates at social events. IN exclusive interview the site found out what sacrifices Natalya is not ready to make for the sake of her career, why she refuses sex scenes and what boundaries she wants to erase.

28-year-old actress Natalia Bardo has played a lot interesting roles, But last job especially proud. In the new series “The Last Frontier,” which will premiere on May 8 on the Russia 1 channel, the actress became a military nurse Katya.

The drama tells the story of a company of recruits whose commander was given the task of stopping the Germans at any cost. The action takes place in a difficult time - the winter of 1941. Natalya's heroine comes face to face with all the hardships of wartime. We started our conversation with a question about the painting.

website: Natalya, you starred in the series “The Last Frontier”, the heroes of which have a strong spirit and the will to win. Do you have these qualities?

Without false modesty, I can say that there is. If I didn’t have these qualities, I wouldn’t have what I have in my life now. I think, strong spirit given to us in order to achieve our goals without compromising our principles. I don’t like to make sacrifices, but for the sake of loved ones I’m ready to do a lot.

“By my zodiac sign I am Aries, and much of what is written in horoscopes is about me. I am purposeful, I don’t like losing at all, and if this happens, I tell myself: “Everything is for the better.”

I am sure that if you prevailed or were lucky in some way, it means you deserved it, did something good in the past. I am grateful to my parents for their upbringing, they passed on to me best qualities. It’s difficult to be alone in this life, and it’s good when there are people nearby who wish us well.

N.B.: Now success for me is a picture that will be recognized by viewers and critics. If I star in a film, it is important for me that it be appreciated. This is why I overcome my own fears. I had to jump from enormous heights, film with poisonous cobras, spend ten hours in icy water... At the same time, I really love action scenes and often perform stunts myself.

The sacrifices must be justified, so I will never betray myself. If my inner voice is against something, I will listen to it. So, once I had to abandon a project with blatant sex scenes, and now I’m glad about it. I know for sure that I would be ashamed now. Perhaps, because of such a mistake, I would not have been able to fulfill my dream of acting in a war film. “The Last Frontier” for me is one of the most reverent and significant works.

“In our profession, excessive media exposure does not always play into our hands. “Special” popularity can be harmful. Therefore, in such matters, I rely on the opinion of professionals - recognized directors, actors, and I prefer to refuse filming for men's magazines. Everything has its time".

website: Can you call yourself a brave person?

N.B.: I'm more of a brave adventurer (laughs). It seems to me that this happens because I am afraid of boredom and... laziness! I am closer to unpredictability, risk, and this is also inherent in courage. I also have other weapons, but I’ll tell you about that another time. (smiles).

website: What do you think a modern woman should be like?

N.B.: In my opinion, she should be wise. With this quality, a woman can achieve anything, and any man will want to protect her. You don't have to be a fighter if you have a loved one nearby. When girls say that they can cope without the help of men, they turn into unhappy and lonely. And I only call for wisdom. Wait, let your loved one express himself and his capabilities, because this is a small contribution to your happy future.

N.B.: You need to put happiness as a priority, and for me this means both the opportunity to act in films and the desire to start a family. There must be balance in everything.

“I can’t choose just one thing, so I’m ready to explain to a man as much as I want how important work is to me. I am for a harmonious existence and I am sure that it is possible to build at the same time successful career and spend time with family and friends.”

website: Which heroine would you like to transform into?

N.B.: There is no specific image. I played positive heroines, girls with difficult fates, bitches, and even princesses. Now I want something spicy, negative. I think such a role is not far off.

I'm happy with how mine is developing now actor career, and I’m glad that I have the opportunity to do what I love. Every day I study and work on myself. I’m just at the beginning of my journey, many accomplishments await me ahead, and this only fuels my interest and inspires me.

website: Do you make plans or prefer the natural course of events?

N.B.: Oh... I just belong to that category of people who make long-term plans. I like to control everything even in cases when I have no control over the situation (laughs). But I notice positive changes - over the years I become more trusting. And I’m even starting to get a taste for it and enjoy it. And when I notice that the result exceeds all my expectations, I rejoice in euphoria. Moments like these bring joy when you realize that you have someone to rely on.

N.B.:"Yes I can. There is only one goal - not to destroy what has been built. I treat what I have as my empire: I am the queen of my domain, I have a king, and everything is subject to a clearly structured system. This world of mine took a long time and hard to build.”

My family gives me the strength to move on; I try to protect myself from ill-wishers and gossip. Today my house is in order, which allows me to freely think about the future, search, develop, love. Everything in life should be like in a tidy closet - in its place.

website: It seems to us that one of yours strengths- the ability to look great at social events. Do you turn to professionals for help or come up with images yourself?

N.B.: Thank you for the compliment. A woman should be able to present herself. Of course, I turn to stylists, because, in my opinion, public people should pay Special attention to his appearance.

“A properly chosen image is big job, art. Therefore, I prefer to do my own thing - acting, and trust the rest to professionals.”

website: Do you prioritize comfort or beauty?

N.B.: Above all for me is beauty, especially if we're talking about about a social event, red carpet or filming process.

IN Everyday life I allow myself to relax and choose comfort. If I'm uncomfortable in something, I won't wear it, and this thing will hang on the hanger or, at best, will be given as a gift to someone.
