History of creation and composition

“City 312” is a popular group performing songs in the pop-rock genre. It was founded in 2001 in Kyrgyzstan; the guys took the telephone code of the capital, Bishkek, as the name. Today the group consists of a vocalist (real name is Svetlana Nazarenko), guitarist Masha Ileeva, keyboardist Dima Pritula, guitarist Sasha Ilchuk, drummer Nick (Leonid Nikonov) and bassist Lenya Pritula.

Aya is a professional singer who graduated from the conservatory in vocal class. Amazing voice capable of weaving a rock and roll outline into oriental melodies or jazz compositions. Guitarist Sasha studied music from the age of 4 at the insistence of his parents. He admits that he hated her and dreamed of becoming a dentist. In the first year of its existence, the band quickly became popular in its native Kyrgyzstan, not without the merit of vocalist Aya. At that time, she was already famous in the country and constantly gave concerts. But for the sake of the project, she, without hesitation, quit solo career and became a member of the group “City-312”.

The team, realizing that Kyrgyzstan has already been conquered, sets off to conquer the Russian capital. Compatriot fans reacted with understanding and pride to the decision of their favorite group. Moscow accepted new team chilly. The first thing they heard in a strange city was: “Why are you here? There are not people here, but wolves.”

However, youth and adventurism helped the guys achieve success. Story

The presentation of the album “Turn Around” took place on April 12, 2007 at the B1 club. Later, a video version of this concert was released on the DVD “City 312.Live”.

In 2009-2010, the group actively tours, including abroad - in the CIS countries, the United States of America, Belgium, Poland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the Canary Islands.

In 2009, the video “Cities 312” and Basta for the song “Turn Around” was released. The text was written by Basta, but the musical parts and chorus remained “urban.” The song made a splash on the domestic scene, and was recognized at the MUZ-TV 2010 awards best composition 2009.

On November 20, 2011, a video was shot for the song “Mom, we are all getting old” in one of the classrooms of the Timiryazev Academy. Their regular listeners also starred in this video together with the musicians.

S.R.How long have you been together?D.P. 18 years. We met at the Lenin House of Culture in our hometown Frunze (now Bishkek). By the way, who doesn’t know: the number “312” in the name of the group is its telephone code. I rehearsed there as part of the famous Bishkek group “Ayan”, and Masha danced in a ballroom group in the studio next door. All the girls in it were perfect. Incredible beauties! M.P. And one day the musician guys came up with something like a reporting concert, at which they supposedly needed backup dancers. D.P. I really wanted to get to know them better. M.P. They came to us: girls, help! D.P. We invited Masha, her sister and their friend. And now they come to our studio for the first time... Young, beautiful... Masha was 16 at that time. We have been together ever since.

S.R.Masha, how did you change your career as a dancer to a career as a musician?M.P. I didn't really plan to change anything. I enjoyed dancing and teaching ballroom dancing, I became interested in guitar quite late, after graduating from university. It just appeared free time, the guys gave me an instrument for my birthday. Well, I started to study little by little - just for myself. This happened later, in Moscow it happened that it was necessary to urgently replace the retired guitarist. And I had to learn the repertoire as soon as possible. D.P. She was preparing with us for the first full concert of “City 312”. Actually, the group was formed in the Russian capital, where we came with a great desire to grow. It is clear that not all dreams come true at once - this city greets you quite harshly. In Bishkek we had wealth and recognition, here we have nothing. But, oddly enough, there was even a certain thrill in it.

S.R.Maybe this is not bad for creativity?..D.P. Very important! At this time we are so much interesting songs written!

S.R.Olivia – unusual name. Why is this?M.P. Precisely because we wanted something unusual. Well, and one more thing - so that there is a normal combination with Ukrainian surname Pritula, not everything female name harmonizes with her. And I liked the meaning: tree of life, tree of peace. Olive!

S.R.Does your daughter look like an olive?M.P. You know, she supported me during childbirth younger sister Tanya and I, as soon as the baby was born, asked her: “Does it look like an olive?” "Yes!" - she answered. And indeed, the little girl was all oval and cute. D.P. She also has olive eyes.

S.R.Was Dima not at the birth?M.P. Dima is too impressionable. I was in a fighting mood: “On my own!” I thought it would be better if he wasn’t around at that moment so that he wouldn’t worry. And so it happened: during the birth, he was on board an airplane high in the sky. And for the birth, just in case, I took my sister with me, who really wanted to help me. D.P. Yes, I didn’t dare to be there, although my younger brother Lenya, our bass guitarist, was at his wife’s birth four years ago and said that this was the highest happiness. But he and I are different: I’m really terribly impressionable. M.P. He might faint. D.P. Can. Recently, for example, I was riding on the subway and read in the newspaper how to recognize a drug addict in a child. I imagined Olive, who stood on this scary way, and, imagine, I felt so bad that I began to lose consciousness right in the carriage.

S.R.Wow! Dmitry, did you really want a girl?D.P. I - yes! Because girls are closer to their parents. Guys, this is what they call, tear it off and throw it away. He will turn 16 - and that’s it, goodbye. And the girl loves her mother all her life. And even more dad! I really want my daughter to love me!

S.R.Masha, did you go on maternity leave?M.P. I worked until six months and would have worked longer, but, you know, a musician doesn’t look good on stage with a big belly... Moreover, constant flights could harm me. But I think on ours festive concert In honor of the 10th anniversary of the group, which will take place on November 19 at the MILK club, I will already be performing as part of “City 312”.

S.R.Masha, what has changed for you in your worldview with the advent of your daughter?M.P. I still don’t believe myself that I could give birth to such a miracle. And another miracle is that two were united in a daughter loving people. I also realized that the most difficult thing in life, it turns out, is caring for a small child. Even pregnancy and childbirth are nothing compared to this. Both physically and psychologically. And this despite the fact that everyone around me helps me, both my mothers and my sister.

S.R.Tell us what Dima's dad is like.M.P. I think he is able to replace me in everything. It happens that he gets up at night. He never refuses to help. D.P. This happens rarely. To be honest, I have changed a diaper only once in my life, although I know how to. And all because Masha manages everything herself. Through your magazine I would like to thank her again for everything she does for me and my daughter. I'm sure she is the best mother and wife in the world.

S.R.But you, Dima, how do you communicate with Olivia? Singing, maybe?D.P. And a lot. I sing children's songs, they are melodic and simple, my daughter takes them with pleasure. The main thing is not to repeat yourself: she likes things to constantly change. She likes contrasting songs: one is perky, the other has a waltz rhythm.

S.R.Do you already have any thoughts about Olivia’s future?D.P. Masha choreographic school graduated, danced professionally, taught, is now involved in sports - in general, Olive will not be lost with her. I already tried to stretch her into splits, but Masha said that if you start doing this too early, the child may stop growing. M.P. We don’t want to make an Olympic champion out of a child, but sports should be a must. Naturally, without fanaticism.

S.R.What is she like now, your Olivia?M.P. She is a lively girl. Everyone says that the character is strong. Restless, like Dima. Who does he resemble in appearance - we still can’t figure it out, we look with dad and understand that this is a completely different person from us. Probably, later someone’s specific traits will appear. D.P. My daughter, like me, is irrepressible and impatient. Masha is calmer, she is a self-possessed person. It is already clear that Olive is internally more like me. But, by the way, that’s what was written about her name: her character is like her dad’s. And, lo and behold, it is confirmed. At all good child, so far I like everything!

S.R. Dima, how are your songs born?D.P. Always different. For example, in our hometown, music was primary for us, onto which the text was then drawn. Everything is different here. Now the text is primary, it is the text, not the poem, because high poetry and modern songs are most often different concepts. M.P. First there is a need to say something to people. D.P. Masha, by the way, often comes up with ideas for songs. This happened, for example, with “Turn Around.” We were riding on the subway once, and she said: “Listen, we need to write a song about how indifferent people are now in big cities" And she suggested the phrase: “Turn around, I can’t get up without your hand!” Or the composition “Invisible”, on which one of our best clips. Masha dug up my old lines in some notebook, brought a guitar, signed at the bottom: “Invisible” - and locked me in the room. About two hours later I came out with a finished song. Masha is not only the first person to hear my songs, she is also a rather tough and competent critic. Once you pass its censorship, it will be easier. By the way, it’s hard to believe, but Masha and I spend 24 hours a day together.

S.R.Well, how do you live with this? Do you quarrel often?D.P. We like! For all 18 years life together We quarreled probably five times.

S.R.Wow! They say people are the same when they are different. Maybe this is your case? D.P. May be. Masha loves to listen, I love to talk, she loves to be made laugh, and I love to have fun. But it is important that our views on life are very similar.

S.R.And even with the birth of a child, there were no difficulties in living together?D.P. Life just has another interesting side. Difficulties do not particularly frighten us. The child makes me happy, every new day makes me happy, and I even enjoy the chores. In addition, Masha is an ideal mother, she creates such comfort that I almost never get tired of the child. Still, the main care is with her. Moms help when she is completely tired. From the outside it seems that all this is not difficult for her at all.

S.R.Isn’t it difficult, Masha?M.P. Well... Actually, it's a bit difficult. But you can get used to it! D.P. And the child is restless. For the first three months, Olive gave us heat. But we never lashed out at her or at each other. It seems to me that a wife should be not just smart, but wise. This is exactly how Masha is.

Aya (Svetlana Nazarenko) is a Russian and Kyrgyz performer, lead singer of the group. Works in pop, alternative rock, house styles. Childhood and youth

The future singer Aya (real name Svetlana Anatolyevna Nazarenko) was born in 1970 in the Kyrgyz city of Frunze (now Bishkek). Svetlana’s parents’ professions were not related to music and art, but everyone in the family loved to sing. 9 years after the birth of their daughter, a son, Alexey, appeared in the family.

Already at the age of 7, Svetlana Nazarenko was a soloist in the Big Children's Choir. At 12 she received an invitation to perform at the Republican Festival folk art. There she was noticed by one of the best Kyrgyz vocal teachers, Rafail Sarlykov.

The four of them - Aya, guitarists Masha, Leon and keyboard player Dim - lived in a cramped apartment because they did not have the means to rent separate ones.
