Master Yoda(896 d.b.i. - 4 p.b.i.), voiced in the films by Frank Oz, is fictional character, created by Lucas Film. He takes part in all episodes of the saga with the exception of Episode IV: A New Hope. Like many Star Wars names, the name "Yoda" comes from more ancient language- most likely from Sanskrit, and translated “ yoddha" means "warrior", from Hebrew " yodea"translated as "one who knows."
Story
early years

Duel with Palpatine
Subsequently, Yoda enters into a titanic battle with Palpatine, which practically destroys the Senate building.
