“I studied at St. Petersburg University at the Faculty of Design, but took away the documents,” Lameko tells StarHit. – Disillusioned with science. EXPECTATIONS AND REALITY
In an interview, three-time winner of the game Andrei Ovsyannikov admitted that he dreams of becoming a surgeon. However, having received a specialty, I wanted to realize myself in a completely different field.
“I abandoned medicine, I don’t want to return to it, I work as an IT specialist,” Ovsyannikov shares with StarHit. – I won’t lie, they pay well in this field, and I learned how to write code well. Now we are planning to open our own company.” Andrey’s endeavors are supported by his girlfriend Anna. Ovsyannikov met his beloved three years ago at the university at the game “What? Where? When?".

“Borya passed all the exams with excellent marks,” Yuri Voropaev, a close friend of Belozerov, tells StarHit. – Now he plans to apply for a master’s degree. He's always busy. The three players who managed to give the largest number of answers advance to the next round.
For the third round (final), participants must prepare in advance, namely, learn and remember as much information as possible on one of certain topics. The order of answers is again determined using the “Decipherer” competition. On the scoreboard, divided into 36 parts (6x6), questions on topics prepared by the players and “general questions” are placed in random order. Before the start of the final competition, participants are given the opportunity to look at the location of the tasks in the table, which is then closed. Participants take turns opening the cells and answering the questions posted in them. For answering a question from his own topic, the answerer gets 2 points, from an opponent’s topic - 3, for “ general question" - 1 point. Each player is asked 9 questions, the one who scores the most points in the sum of three rounds wins and receives the title “The Smartest” (the participant receives one point for correct answers in the first two stages). The game may be over ahead of schedule, if the winner is determined by the amount of points won, which the rest of the participants will not be able to exceed, even if they score the maximum possible number of points from the remaining ones.
The player who wins the quiz becomes one of the full members of the “Club of the Smartest” who take part in the super final. “Club...” is divided into two leagues: Junior (grades 6-7) and Senior (grades 8-10). Each league consists of 48 participants.
The winner of the super final game becomes the owner of the master's title of the "Club of the Smartest" and the main prize - the right to study at one of the prestigious colleges in the UK.
The transmission format was developed by a British company Celador, in its homeland the game was called "The Britain's Brainiest Kid"("Most smart child Britain") or simply "Brainiest" ("The smartest"). The license for the game was sold to several countries around the world, but the show is most popular in Russia and Ukraine.
Conceived as a quiz for children, the program over time acquired special projects in which adult players also took part, usually united by one common feature: “The smartest mom”, “The smartest dad”, “The smartest parents with players”, etc., as well as special issues with “star” lineups of participants, which many film and television stars, pop artists and athletes managed to attend.
