It’s been a year since 35-year-old singer Dominic Joker started a relationship with 27-year-old Ekaterina Kokorina, who is participating in the show “The Voice” this season.

Dominic now practically does not communicate with his wife Albina and two children - 9-year-old Martin and 6-year-old Marcus.

The relationship between Joker and Kokorina has been around for about a year now - in December 2014, the singer left his former family for a young mistress.

Dominic, whose real name is Alexander Breslavsky, was born in July 1980. The boy grew up in Odessa, a port city that absorbed a mixture of cultures different nationalities and peoples, which left its mark on the Joker’s worldview. Later, Dominic Joker will return to the project that gave him all-Russian popularity. In 2011, he will become a participant in the TV show “Star Factory. Return”, where others will also appear.

Dominic got busy again solo career. Many superstars of the Russian stage began to invite the talented composer to collaborate. The musician became a songwriter for bands, performers, etc. For 4 years in a row, since 2004, Joker was nominated for the Song of the Year award. - And where did you meet such a treasure?

In 2013 in Barnaul during the casting for television project"Battle of the Choirs" I was one of the mentors. And Katya came to the competition. I liked Katyusha right away. Our guys, the finalists of the project, were invited to perform at the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi. - Did your marriage break up because of Katya?

No. Albina and I did not have a tragic breakup. Long before the “Battle of the Choirs” project, before meeting Katya, something went wrong in our family, we could not stay together. We parted ways. Naturally, I left the apartment to my wife and children. The musicians from my team rehearsed and lived in the Snegiri complex near Moscow. At one time I also hung out there. We toured a lot, wandered around cities and towns. When we returned to Moscow, I lived in the country. Divorce was a joint decision between Albina and me. Unfortunately, people disagree. This is sad, of course, but it means it’s necessary. We divorced not because of infidelity, not because someone else appeared. Just living together logically completed. I didn’t rush into a new relationship - first of all, I threw myself into work. And then I met Katya...

We must give credit to both Katya and Albina - they found a common language. Perhaps that’s why the guys calmly accepted Katyusha’s appearance. She was able to build great relationship with Martin and Marcus. The guys grow up knowing that they have two homes, and they like it. When the youngest, Marik, gets tired on a walk, he suggests: “Come to us.” For him there is no division between mom’s family and dad’s family. When I see the happy smiles of my sons, I am happy too: it means we did everything right. The only thing I'm worried about is that I don't get to see my eldest son often. Martin spends a lot of time training, he studies figure skating. By the way, he does great success. At the age of ten he received the second youth rank. Martin was noticed by serious coaches, such as Tarasova. And this says a lot. Tatyana Anatolyevna does not pay attention even to very gifted children. She needs to see the athlete’s determination, to know that he himself will dig the ground, hit his hoof, in order to achieve the goal. Martin is already a little champion for me. The same thing happens in show business. Not a single promoter will engage with a young artist if he is not passionate about his work.

- How do children react to the fact that their dad is a famous artist?

You know, being the child of a public person is quite difficult: dad is regularly shown on TV, people recognize him on the street. It's easy to become arrogant when the attention of others is on you. But this absolutely does not apply to my children. They are surprisingly indifferent to dad's popularity. Of course they are pleased. But none of them boasts about it. Some situations surprise them. For example: I come to pick up the boys from school, their peers, and more often young mothers, want to take a photo with me. They ask: “Can I take a photo of the child with you? Thank you! And now me." And this “me” soon appears on Instagram. It’s still unusual for my children to see this.

Martin has chosen the path of a professional athlete for himself, and Marcus has decided? What is he interested in doing in life?

- Marcus has a craving for music, in this regard he is more like me, and Martin is like Albina, he is indifferent to music. Marik sings well. Katya, my sister Polina and I were very surprised when our son gave us a small concert - with dancing and singing. In kindergarten he takes part in performances. I came and looked: it copes well. Now he will start studying music at our school with Katya - Joker school. At the same time, he is also interested in sports. I started going to the boxing section. I welcome this, but, naturally, at an amateur level. It’s not my rule to prohibit or put pressure, I’ll just try to explain to Marcus the unsightly sides of both boxing and show business.

- And from the unsightly sides modern life are you trying to fence them off? For example, from negativity on the Internet?

Martin is already an adult, he is less susceptible to negative information that we can see on the Internet. And I try to explain everything to Marik. But I don't restrict their Internet access. I think it’s stupid to take away a child’s favorite toy. Someone says that in computer games a lot of aggression, they cite the example of the game Mortal Kombat. Was there little aggression in the yard game of toy soldiers in our childhood? Or we played knives and darts - isn’t that aggression? It all depends on how you approach it. I would like to protect my children from bad people. But this, unfortunately, is unrealistic. The only thing that can be done is to teach him to be tougher, to be able to fight back.

- Dominic, do you now have everything you dreamed of?

I have everything to feel happy: two wonderful sons, my girlfriend, a wonderful relationship with ex-wife. And the music I live by.
