Each of us works on a computer. And for sure, everyone understands how much time it takes to type a letter or any other text. Therefore, I will tell you today about how you can learn to type quickly using the Stamina simulator.
Today there are many simulators for teaching touch typing on the keyboard, and the leaders among them are Stamina and Solo on the keyboard.
However, as you understand, this is not about paid program Solo on the keyboard, and about the free Stamina simulator. I will also explain why you should choose Stamina. (I note that “there are no comrades according to taste,” so I can completely understand fans of other touch typing simulators.)
Why blind typing?
Yes, as you understand, Stamina teaches you how to quickly touch-type. Many of us can type quickly by looking at a keyboard and think we don't need to learn. However, there is a nuance here: when typing non-touch, you will never exceed the speed of 250 characters per minute.
Also, by not touch typing, you put excessive strain on your eyes: you constantly need to look either at the monitor or at the keyboard. Therefore, I recommend everyone to learn this typing method. The speed of touch typing averages more than 400 characters per minute. And this speed will help save time for many.
Why Stamina and not other simulators?
Firstly, Stamina free program. Why pay when you can for free? Secondly, you can try the paid Solo keyboard simulator. First, a series of free training sessions is given. But if you go through them, you will understand that Stamina teaches much better.
The lessons for memorizing key locations in Stamina are much better thought out than in Keyboard Solo. In Solo on the keyboard, the training goes something like this: “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa After completing such a lesson, your fingers will remember more the sequence of the letters than their location. So, moving on to the next lesson, your fingers will press the old sequence themselves.
In Stamina, the learning algorithm is more thought out. Memorization looks like this: “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.” That is, the letters are arranged in a chaotic order, unlike their analogues. By learning this way, you will not encounter the problem that your fingers will only remember combinations of letters, but will work on their arrangement.
Also in Solo on the keyboard, in my opinion, there are too many unnecessary phrases and psychological tests completely off-topic, which distract from learning more than help you relax.
Moreover, unlike Stamina, Keyboard Solo takes a significant pause after each mistake made. So, you will spend more time reading the text after an error like “calm down, breathe, relax...”. Such pauses are more annoying and disruptive than they help you concentrate.

To install, download the Stamina installer. You can download it from the official website
Once downloaded, the StaminaSetup.exe installer can be found in Downloads. If you don't know where it is, then in the Start button in the search bar (for Windows 7) enter Downloads. In the search results, click on the found Downloads folder, where you will find the installer. It looks like this:
From the Downloads folder, move or copy it to another folder, for example, a new “Stamina” folder. Then you need to start installing the simulator by clicking on StaminaSetup.exe.
Many antivirus programs cannot stand it, so “think for yourself, decide for yourself” the issue with running the StaminaSetup.exe file.
After running the StaminaSetup.exe installer, you will see the following window:
Pay attention to the window where you are asked to select the installation path. You can specify a different and different download folder by clicking on the “Browse” button. Having decided on the installation path, click on the “Install” button.
I will add that there are many different sounds in the simulator, many of which are best not heard by children. Therefore, after installation, answer the program’s request that you do not want to hear “vulgar” sounds:

The trick of Rapid Typing Tutor is different: in addition to being freely distributed, the program supports 25 different languages of the world and is flexibly customizable - from interface design to lesson options.
