How to draw graffiti on your hand. Graffiti: essence and phased execution

Today we will draw graffiti with a pencil on paper of a rather complex shape. We will draw the word “STREET”. Streets have their own directions, intersections and dead ends - this is what I wanted to depict in this graffiti drawing.

Drawing graffiti with a pencil

We draw the first letter “S”, at the ends of which there are arrows in the form of direction indicators. Try to draw the letter evenly, with the same thickness everywhere.

Let's move on to drawing the second letter "T" - it will also be in the form of directions. WITH right side the letter is not finished, because it will be slightly overlapped by the third letter “R”. Focus on the drawings of each stage, use a ruler.

Third stage of the lesson graffiti in pencil on paper - the letter "R". Draw a third letter and continue with the letter "T". Pay attention to how the letters intertwine with each other, try not to make mistakes. It is important to draw all letters the same thickness!

The last letter is “T” - it starts from the second “E”, goes up and “turns” to the left. There are arrows drawn on the ends of the top of the "T".

If you succeeded, then I want to make you happy - the biggest difficulty is behind you. It was important to draw the letters correctly in the directions, and to intertwine the “T” with the “R” and “S” correctly. Next, you need to outline and color the middle with black, a pencil or marker.

The next step is to circle it with a different color. I took green pencil, you can see its shade in the picture below.

We are reaching the finish line – we begin to paint “STREET” with the same color as in the previous stage. You can leave some areas lighter, some darker. For example, they painted over it with a pencil, and then drew a line (wiped it off) with an eraser - they lightened it. You can add strokes with a black pencil on top of the green. If you look closely at the drawing below, you will be able to see both lightened areas and strokes with a black pencil on the “S”.

Graffiti is a creative direction of Hip-Hop culture. Let's find out how and where this art of “painting walls” originated and, in fact, how to learn to draw graffiti.

There is no such person who would not see colorful inscriptions (perhaps of not entirely clear content) on the walls of his city. No, we're not talking about now folk art with bad words on fences. The art of painting city walls and other surfaces owes its origin to a New York teenager named Demetrios.

In the late 60s, he began to display his creative pseudonym TAKI on street walls and in metro stations. A little later, the guy added his street number to the spelling of his pseudonym - 183.
When unusual inscriptions began to appear throughout Manhattan, other teenagers noticed them and began to write their names. And since everyone wanted to stand out from the crowd, whole compositions began to appear on the walls, some were more like real works of art.

Now let's find out how to learn to draw graffiti and what you need for this. Before running into the yard and spraying spray paint within a ten-meter radius, you should prepare a so-called sketch. This is a sketch of what you plan to display on the wall. Drawing a beautiful and neat sketch is not so simple task, as it might seem at first glance. Especially if you are just taking your first steps in graffiti. Only when the sketch is ready is it transferred to the wall.
Interestingly, often the sketch itself may differ from the drawing on the wall. Many writers (that’s what those who draw graffiti are called) ignore sketches altogether, but for beginners it would still be better to start with sketching. Only later, when you get the hang of it, you can start implementing your creative ideas without resorting to sketches.

You can draw sketches with pencils; gel or ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, crayons, etc. are also used. In this case, thick paper is preferable, the dimensions of which depend on your final idea. There is no need to rush while drawing; it is better to take a pencil first and apply light strokes so that you can adjust something later. Then we will trace with a pen everything that we have drawn and erase the pencil strokes with an eraser. Fill the form with color and create a background.
If everything went well and you like the result, then we are ready to transfer our sketch to the wall. It is important to remember the surface for your drawing. It will fit very poorly on uneven surfaces. The best option is porous concrete or any primed surface. The metal surface must be “degreased” with a solvent before anything is applied to it.
You should pay attention to the following feature: when drawing graffiti, first of all you should take care of the background - first draw a sketch with the background color of the main inscription, then the background and outline. This is very important, because it will be easier for you to correct any mistake later. Also, do not stop the drips, wait until the paint dries, and then paint over them with the background color.

Cylinder attachments - caps - must be cleaned after each use. Before putting the can aside, you should turn it over and hold the cap pressed for a couple of seconds until the paint stops coming out. If the paint in the cap has dried, then you can throw away this attachment. Caps are a consumable item and get clogged with paint very often, even with the most proper use, so when you go to paint graffiti, be sure to take spare caps with you. Before directing the jet at the drawing, you need to check whether the cap is installed correctly: this can be done by spraying it on the ground or on a test section of the wall.

Warm, windless weather is best for painting graffiti. When it rains and is cold, the paint adheres very poorly and takes a long time to dry.

Do not forget to wear a respirator while painting, because paint fumes are very harmful to the lungs. If you don't use it, there is a high chance of getting asthma over time! Respirators must be used not only indoors, but also outdoors.

Gloves are also an important piece of equipment. If you don't use them, your hands get dirty very quickly, and walking around with multi-colored hands and washing them for several minutes, or even an hour, is not the most pleasant experience.
I hope these simple tips will help you master interesting art drawing graffiti.

How to learn to draw graffiti? You need to start with graffiti for beginners, and don't be afraid or shy simple drawings. If you are a beginner, then start with easy drawings - they will help you draw more complex graffiti in the future.

How to Draw Graffiti for Beginners

So, to draw graffiti you will need a simple pencil, an eraser, a black pencil or marker, and colored pencils. We will draw the word “COLD”.

Draw the first letter “C” - look at the picture to see what shape this letter should be. If you are not yet confident in your abilities, draw first with a simple pencil, and then circle it in black.

Let's continue drawing graffiti for beginners, and draw the third letter “L”. Please note that it is smaller than the other letters. To the right of it you need to draw a curved line.

The last stage is the most difficult - we need to draw the last letter “D”. Please note that the letters “L” and “D” seem to be intertwined with each other - this is where the difficulty lies. Look carefully at the picture below and try to draw it like the picture below.

When all the letters are drawn, you can start decorating the graffiti. Along the contours, outline all the letters in black, and paint over the middles of the letters: “C”, “O” and “D”.

What colors should you use to decorate this graffiti? I chose blue and light blue pencils. First, from the bottom of each letter with a pencil of blue color make vertical strokes.

Next, you again need to make vertical strokes with a light blue pencil, leaving the top white. Blue and light blue shades will mix with each other when they touch. This way we will get a soft transition of shades of blue, and the top will remain white. Also, you need to paint black between the letter “L” and “D”, I forgot to do this earlier. You can see the result we got in the picture below.

Buenos dias amigo. I haven’t written anything useful for a long time about how to learn to draw graffiti on paper, in other words, I haven’t given sketching lessons for a long time. So, I decided to correct myself and introduce you all to a style called wild.

Not very complex, but an incredibly cool font, if, of course, you draw it correctly. Probably the most important thing is harmony. At first, you will have to work on your accuracy in drawing the volume, because if its thickness is always different, you will end up with a disgusting drawing. So try to always draw the volume in one direction and repeat the thickness you have chosen in the volume of each letter.

Arrows, stars and an insanely bright palette of colors are the best traditions wild

So let's get started:

You will need: your sketch book, a simple pencil, an eraser and a black pen (preferably gel), a set of markers or pencils.

The first photo is not the very beginning, it is the first important stage which you must learn.

You need to sketch out approximately what you want to draw, add arrows, stars and all that kind of nonsense. If you are satisfied with the result, correct all the bad places and circle the font with a pen. After that, choose the direction of the volume and draw it, remember what I told you about the same thickness. Again, correct all the mistakes and circle the volume with a pen.

Fill the volume with the color you need. The colors can be any, but we chose the classic - black. If you wish, you can leave empty (white) highlights - these are light stripes on the volume. Just don’t overdo it, everything should be in moderation.

Let's start painting. I repeat once again, do not be afraid to experiment with colors, wild does not tolerate dull monochromatic fills, here you need bright colors, then everything will look great.

They mainly use color transitions - as in our example. But you can try to do everything in one color, but change the tone, for example, from the center, to the right and left to lighten or darken the color. Well, in short, don't be afraid to experiment, it will benefit you anyway.

The drawings had a very simple font, you can always add effects.

A little later there will be a video lesson on this sketch.

Having learned to draw, you will be able to write any letters and design anything, be it a Tomsk poster, a poster or business cards. Stay up to date with the news. By the way, summer has now begun and something interesting is happening in Tomsk all the time. I recommend.

Instructions

Consider which version of your name you want to write if your name has a short and a long form.

Decide what font would be best to write your name. There are a variety of fonts in graffiti: classic, more rounded, angular, deliberately difficult to read, printed, italic, and capital. The choice of fonts is not limited existing options. It will be much more interesting to come up with your own font that will become your individual style.
It’s very difficult to come up with your own style right away. Beginners can be guided by already created works of other graffiti.

Choose the fonts that are closest to you. Try to imagine what your name would look like written by them. Decide which font will suit you best. In the future, when writing a name, you can copy it completely or modify it slightly.

Take a sheet of paper (preferably A4 format) and a simple pencil.
Start drawing your name in the chosen font, using light strokes, removing blemishes with an eraser.
Take your time, achieve the best result. Play a little with the font, make it more round or, conversely, angular, change the size of the letters and their individual elements.
Please pay attention Special attention connecting letters or transitioning from one letter to another. Use your imagination and the lettering will turn out creative.
You will do better with each one, because learning is very important in graffiti.
When pencil sketch When it’s ready, trace it with a pen and erase the pencil strokes with an eraser.

Choose ones that make your name look good. The colors must be compatible with each other. Let's say you want to make a transition from one color, which will be the first sign, to another, which will be the last sign. Then it will be especially important to have primary colors of equal intensity and lighter ones for transition. You will spray them on each other.
Think over color scheme very important. If you have a font, do not overload the inscription with complex color combinations. A simple font will benefit from bright, creative coloring.
Color the name according to your plan using markers.

When you have the desired sketch on paper, transfer it to the concrete wall. Choose walls with slightly rough surfaces to reduce paint smudges.
