— In your circle of friends, people are probably throwing accusations at you: that same Gnoyny suddenly plunges into the thick of pop culture.

- But my friend is sitting next to me (rapper Fallen MS. - Author). Have you ever thought about throwing me a present?

- Of course it did! I slept with the same Gnoiny on the floor in Khabarovsk. Now he is sleeping on the bed. But nothing has changed in principle, everything is just as wonderful. In the community where we used to do all this (rap. - Author), they don’t like Slava very much now.

— Which artists would you like to promote in this project?

— I know that there will be wonderful performers who perform, for example, electropunk. I would like them to move further and promote their creativity. There will also be great guys there singing songs like the one about a chick with a bob (“Chick with a bob” is a hit by rapper MC Fallen. - Author).

- But there will probably be a lot of pop music you don’t like. Do you think you have the nerves to withstand all this?

— Do you ride the subway safely?

— I try not to take the subway.

— Are you driving something black, big and German?

— No, I go by Yandex.Taxi, economy.

— Your videos easily get a couple of million views. How do you monetize your popularity?

— The artist doesn’t owe anyone anything. This is a very strange view. I'm constantly in the process of coming up with something. And I basically can’t imagine any other life. I always process any information that I work with—I read, watch, and so on—in a creative way. It `s naturally.

— Have you noticed any signs of star fever in yourself?

- It’s not me you need to ask.

- Not really. The guys are coming forward. That is, if I don’t like some aspects, we discuss them and they disappear. Therefore, there is no internal protest.

— For example, we were filming a promo. The guys wrote the script without me, and I didn’t like some of the jokes. I talked so that these jokes would not happen. And they weren’t - it’s simple. I added my own jokes, and it turned out very funny for me. That's why I like everything.

— You're probably preparing some kind of provocation for the TV show, aren't you?

- Why should I do this? It would be very strange.

- But you arranged it on the Culture channel. They came to an intelligent program wearing a jacket with a disguised obscene inscription (a phrase in Latin letters with a native Russian verb. - Ed.).

- Who did I offend with this T-shirt?

- It looked like a mockery of the presenter. Shvydkoy was so kind to you - he just asked you not to swear, and you...

“If someone didn’t want me to wear this T-shirt, they probably would have told me so.” Before filming, a girl came up, read what I had written, and said that there were no problems.

— What do you ultimately want with your “Antihype”?

— So that one day Vladimir Putin will present us with orders for the development of culture in this country and for our contribution to post-irony. This is our ultimate goal.

— Don’t you want to assemble the “Olympic”?

Fallen MC:

— We know one person who hoped to assemble the Olympic. He ended badly!

— By the way, will you go to Oksimiron’s concert at the Olimpiysky?

- No. I think we have a concert on the same day, so no.

Vyacheslav Mashnov (Gnoyny, Glory to the CPSU, Sonya Marmeladova, Valentin Dyadka, etc.) was born in Khabarovsk on May 9, 1990, now lives in St. Petersburg. For a long time was known only in the rap environment, but after the victory over Oksimiron (it happened on August 6 of this year), those who were never interested in this genre started talking about Gnoiny. The phenomenon of rap battles in general and Gnoiny in particular was discussed in the press, on TV (and even in the “Time” program). The video of the epoch-making battle on YouTube was watched 24 million times - this is far from a record for a battle, but there has never been such a buzz around such videos.

Purulent on STS! Who is this? How did he get on the show Success? Haven't you heard of this character yet?! It’s strange, because the Internet has been buzzing about him since that very victory over Okisimiron.

He is Slava CPSU, he is Sonya Marmeladova, he is Vyacheslav Mashnov. No matter how many pseudonyms he has, he definitely knows a lot about success.

“I came to TV so that people who are rejected by the unviable and dead pop formation also have a chance to succeed,” Gnoyny said at the very beginning of the show.

The fact that Gnoyny would take part in the television project “Success” became clear back in mid-October, when the STS TV channel aired a promotional video for the new show. Then, for the first time on TV, still unfamiliar to the local viewer, Slava immediately declared: “Your hype is worth nothing,” and he addressed his appeal to no one, but to Philip Kirkorov himself.

After this video, a fire of accusations against Slava broke out on the Internet, because he is one of Antihype’s loyal supporters, and there was clearly a commercial motive here. However, he later gave an interview to the online media Meduza, where he explained that his primary goal of participation was to earn money for his apartment.

After all, every week their places can be taken by at least strong heroes, ready to challenge any of the four to a battle.

“What kind of judge will I be? I'll just say what I want this moment comes to mind. We, representatives of Antihype, consistently destroy any framework into which the listener tries to lock us. And if appearing on TV seems shameful for someone, I will definitely appear there,” admits Gnoyny.

The popular rap artist is a living example of the fact that a battle is a real opportunity to express yourself. “As for me, I choose my opponent according to different criteria. Sometimes you feel creative confrontation and want to voice your position. And sometimes you just don’t like a person for subjective reasons,” Vyacheslav spoke about his preferences.
