The statement was made by the head of the directorate music programs channel and the producer of the competition during a meeting with applicants for participation in the next “Voice” on the eve of the start of filming of the “blind” auditions. “The old, ‘golden’ jury is returning - Alexander Borisovich, Pelageya and,” said Aksyuta and reminded those who were admitted to the “blind” auditions: “They will take their chairs, and you will try to get them to turn to you.”

The TV show “The Voice” is the Russian version of the Dutch format “The Voice”, created by producer John de Mol. The competition has been successfully adapted in many countries around the world. In Russia, Channel One launched this show in the fall of 2012, and for several years now it has been one of the highest-rated programs on domestic television; Thus, “The Voice” itself was in the top 10 for 2016 (according to “Mediascope”, the rating of one of the issues was 8.6%, and the share was 27.8%) - in eighth place, and its children’s version, "Voice. Children" (rating 8.9%, share 26.5%, 6th place).

“I’ll say without exaggeration - this project completely changed me,” said Bilan. - My life is now definitely divided into before and after “The Voice”, I became a real psychologist, learned to “read” people, predict their words and actions. Although each participant in the project is a whole universe, every situation that arises is a challenge. “The Voice” is a story not about vocals, but about a person. That is why he cannot get bored; he is as limitless, inexhaustible, as human nature itself.”

According to the rules of the competition, during the first stage - “blind” auditions - mentors sit with their backs to the stage and evaluate exclusively the performer’s vocal abilities.

If they consider it necessary to invite a candidate to their team, then they press a button and turn around along with the chair. Each team must have 14 participants (this rule was broken several times - sometimes the mentor got 15 people), who then go through several stages of strict selection (fights, knockouts, quarter-finals, semi-finals), and the remaining members of each team compete in the final.

Gradsky, Agutin, Pelageya and Bilan were “The Voice” mentors for the first three seasons.

Before the fourth season, Channel One decided to update the jury: of the “oldies,” only Gradsky remained, and the empty seats were taken by the rapper Basta (). Before the fifth season, a partial replacement took place again - Basta and Gradsky left, but Bilan and Agutin returned. The day before fourth season“Voices” Yuri Aksyuta told Gazeta.Ru that the decision to replace the mentors that viewers were accustomed to turned out to be very radical, and to make up of those people who are suitable for this role, good team very difficult. Two years of experiments apparently showed that this was in fact the case, and the channel decided to do everything as it was in the beginning.

Alexander Gradsky told ELLE that the success of “The Voice” consists of improvisation, the work of contestants, editors and mentors.

It's like a watch with different gears. If they fit, the clock runs. The first group arrived,” he noted. “We are very different people, but we knew how to interact and support each other.”

The sixth season formally starts on Monday, August 14, when a block of filming of “blind” auditions of the competition begins in the studio at Mosfilm, as a result of which new old mentors will recruit their teams. According to the channel, more than 10 thousand applications were sent to participate in the competition, a thousand people were invited to face-to-face casting in Ostankino. The selection group allowed 158 people to participate in the “blind” auditions for the new season - of which only 56 will make it to the next round. Well, or a little more.

About the team of mentors

In the first three seasons of “The Voice,” the jury team did not change and consisted of four famous Russian musicians: Leonid Agutin, Dima Bilan, Alexander Gradsky and Pelageya. In the fourth season, the composition of star mentors changed radically: Grigory Leps, Polina Gagarina and Basta took the judge's chairs, the master remained unchanged Russian rock Alexander Gradsky.

And just recently, on August 27, the main intrigue of the new season was resolved: the producer of the show “The Voice” Yuri Aksyuta announced the names of the new mentors. They were: Leonid Agutin, Dima Bilan, Grigory Leps and Polina Gagarina.

Over the four seasons of the show, the mentors have produced many stars. Alexander Gradsky turned out to be the most successful music coach: in the first three seasons, participants from his teams became winners. These are Dina Garipova, Sergei Volchkov and Alexandra Vorobyova. The winner of the fourth season was the clergyman Hieromonk Photius. Initially, the hieromonk wanted to get into Gradsky’s team, but during the “blind auditions” Grigory Leps turned to him.

Over the past seasons, coaches have also given a ticket to big stage such musicians as Sevara, Tina Kuznetsova, Anton Belyaev, Nargiz Zakirova, Alena Toymintseva.

About the project rules

The rules of “The Voice” remain the same as they have been for the previous four seasons. First there are blind auditions - the mentors are located with their backs to the stage, they do not see the performer, but only hear him. If they like a participant, they press a button and the chair rotates. The mentor takes the performer to his team. Next - fights. Participants compete with each other in groups of two. The best one, according to the mentor, advances to the next stage. Third - knockouts. The jury divides their teams into threes, and the participants compete by performing songs. One is out. Next are the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. The jury and viewers vote live, thereby weeding out less successful performers. Four participants advance to the finals. They perform one song solo and another as a duet with their mentor.

But, most importantly, the host of the show “The Voice” remains unchanged from year to year - the brilliant Dmitry Nagiyev, with whom the audience will worry, rejoice, admire and be upset in the new, fifth season. So, the most anticipated premiere of the season is on Friday, September 2, at 21.30.

Anastasia Salimgareeva

, Pelageya and Dima Bilan have long been loved by viewers. The very first editions of The Voice took place with them, then still young and inexperienced judges, whose teams included the first participants of The Voice. We know a lot about these mentors, we have seen their completely different numbers. There were unexpected, amazing, beautiful and not so beautiful, there was everything. But in the sixth season they still managed to surprise.

There was no intrigue about the mentors of the Voice

Every year, all fans of the Voice project are interested in who will be the mentor? Will the old ones be replaced? If they replace them, will they replace them all? And most importantly, for whom? In the sixth season, the organizers did not make an intrigue out of it and announced the names back in August 2017 mentors Voice 6. They also called them " golden composition of mentors". Not to say that the nickname stuck - the jury members themselves did not take it seriously.

Which mentor will win?

There is no need to ask this question if Alexander Borisovich Gradsky is among the mentors. He sat in the red chair for 5 seasons and won 4 times. And every time he won, his neighbors in the chair were the same people: Agutin, Pelageya and Bilan. These four judged in the first, second, third and sixth seasons. The winners of the project, respectively: Dina Garipova, Sergey Volchkov, Alexandra Vorobyova and Selim Alakhyarov. All from Gradsky's team.

Changes in season four

The fifth season mixed all the judges

In the fifth season, Gradsky was not there, but last year’s winner Grigory Leps and familiar faces were there: Leonid Agutin, Polina Gagarina and Dima Bilan. The victory in Voice 5 was won by Leonid Agutin and Daria Antonyuk, for the first time in all these seasons, luck smiled on him and his team won. Well, in the sixth season they decided to bring back all the most experienced jury members.

What did the Voice mentors do outside the project?

Pelageya managed to marry hockey player Ivan Telegin and give birth to a daughter, Taisiya. This explains why she was not a mentor and why Gagarina replaced her. By the way, Polina Gagarina also gave birth to a girl, Mia, and also skipped Voice because of this. And also, after sitting in the mentors of Golos.Children 4, Nyusha married Igor Sivov. She'll probably give birth soon too. The chair is magical! All the girl mentors, after sitting in it, get married and give birth to children. However, not only girls. The men also had an increase. Alexander Gradsky on the project son Sasha was born. By the way, in issue 16 of Voices 6, in Quarterfinals Gradsky Sr. said hello to Gradsky Jr., since three-year-old Sasha could not believe that his dad was working live.
These are the heroes of our time, the mentors of the Voice project.

Show rules

“The Voice” is a super project, fundamentally different from the usual ones vocal competitions and a music talent search show. We found best voices countries. Outstanding vocal abilities are the only way to get into the “Voice” project, get a unique chance to go through the sieve of musical duels with competitors and make millions of TV viewers fall in love with you.

The first stage for participants who have passed the preliminary selection is blind auditions.

Blind auditions

Participants perform one at a time with live accompaniment. Mentors do not see the participants, but they hear and evaluate their voices.

Any Mentor can take a performer to his team. If a participant is chosen by several Mentors, then he himself chooses whose team to join.

By the end of the stage, each of the four teams will have 14 participants.

Fights

Mentors pass on their skills to the participants, help them master the stage, but at the same time they must choose the best. Participants compete with each other in Duels.

In each Match, two representatives of one team perform one song together and the best one, in the opinion of the Mentor, advances to the next stage.

Each Mentor can “save” two participants who were eliminated from the teams of other Mentors.

Knockouts

The elimination game continues. Mentors divide their teams into threes, where each participant performs one song.

Two, chosen by the Mentor, advance to the next stage, and the third leaves the project.

Quarterfinals

Contestants compete live in threes with other members of their team. Everyone sings their own song.

In each trio, the Mentor distributes his 100% of votes between the three participants in the proportion of 20\30\50.

Thus, the audience, together with the Mentor, decide who will remain in the project.

Semi-final

Each contestant again has only one song to prove their right to remain in the project. Mentors and viewers cast their votes live. Only one participant from each team, selected by the Mentor and given greatest number votes from the audience will go on.
