List of Russian media receiving foreign funding. Who is the owner of the opposition media?

Russophobia - a hostile and hostile attitude towards everything Russian - is not a new phenomenon. As an ideology, it was formed and spread back in the distant 16th century by the Catholic Church. Over time, the ideology itself was picked up by the West and especially by those countries that entered into an open geopolitical conflict with Russia. There have always been many such countries, because it was on the territory of Russia that the largest reserves in the world were and are located natural resources and wealth.

In the 20th century, tracking down organizations that denigrated Russia and the countries behind them was much more difficult than in the modern information world. But in comparison with the 20th century, modern Russophobes are not particularly hiding, and develop their activities without much fear. And here it is very important to distinguish between dissent, opposition and Russophobia.

As a rule, in the modern electronic world, given the scale of the information war, all these concepts are blurred and mixed, and in to a greater extent flow from each other. But today, we would like to publish a list of so-called “undesirable organizations” (sites, communities, blogs) that are specifically engaged in anti-Russian activities.

A Belarusian information portal with an openly anti-Russian orientation, they approve of the pro-fascist political regime established in Ukraine, illegal Western sanctions, openly grovel before the West, and in many news and publications they promote the idea that Russians are second-class citizens, racism.

"Colta.ru"

It is positioned as an “independent public media”, but cooperates with the Swiss foundation Pro Helvetia and the German Heinrich Böll Foundation. It published articles about the “annexation of Crimea,” participated in the campaign against the Olympics in Sochi, and produced films in support of the “prisoners of Bolotnaya.”

Another name is the Ukrainian Bureau of Independent Investigative Journalism. As the portal administrators write, it specializes in exposing lies, propaganda attacks and various fakes. At the same time, the articles on this resource do not contain any links to sources of information and are full of outright fakes.

A large wikiproject, originally dedicated to describing Internet memes. The authors of the project declare neutrality, which is often actually observed, however, mainly due to the extreme cynicism of the authors. However, many articles openly smack of Russophobia, liberalism and poralism - for example,. Some representatives of the liberal movement (Navalny) are depicted with undisguised tolerance. Others (Malgin) - with healthy hostility.

In public VKontakte (more than 400,000 subscribers) and on IRC channels, the administration demonstrates radical Russophobia. In addition, there is a lot of it, for example, on Twitter of the founder of Lurkomorye Dmitry Khomak, as well as in the LiveJournal of the former administrator Valery “Mopets Tsipelman” Shapovalov.

Despite the comical design of the site, probably made back in the 90s, it is still popular. This is indicated by site visit statistics. This news site is the patrimony of Gusinsky, the disgraced media mogul and former owner of NTV. The site often presents biased information, typical manipulation techniques can often be found, and one can also observe priority in presenting negative information about Russia and Russian politicians. The site's servers are located in New York, which led to the complete blocking of this resource in 2012 due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy. The militia of the army of Novorossiya is called on the website nothing more than “separatists” or “militants”. When describing the situation, official information from the authorities in Kyiv prevails, which is why one piece of news often does not fit in with another. The information is not verified. The RT editors filed claims against Newsru.com due to false accusations related to incorrect translation of articles from in English. Newsru.com does not indicate the authorship of the materials.

pro Ro$$yu

A public page on Google+, which is either a parody or an antipode to the public page of the same name about Russia with more than 50,000 subscribers. It directly positions itself as a “community of complete discrimination” and is managed by blogger Denis Elistratov. The public clearly shows an orientation towards supporting the putsch regime in Kyiv and the Russian non-systemic opposition, coupled with the total discrediting of the highest authorities in Russia, the ideas of the Russian World and any criticism of the West, especially the United States.

In fact, the public is another platform for waging an information war against the Russian Federation - through the promotion of liberal lies and rabid criticism of the authorities in the style of “Elections, elections, c*nt candidates”, “Putin is F*cked”, etc. In addition to its orientation towards the white ribbon movement, it is also distinguished by its orientation towards Russian nationalism in its extreme forms and xenophobia towards the population of the North Caucasus and Central Asia. Fortunately, most of the sites and public pages with which “Critic of Power” is integrated either do not work or are not very popular.

It is also worth noting that the public administrators are intolerant of any criticism. This is directly stated in “ General rules»:

Ranting about content in a group gets you banned forever

Expressing your own dissatisfaction with the administration and moderators is a permanent ban

In addition to the fact that this sanction is imposed for any criticism, it is not yet clearly explained what expression of an opinion alternative to public policy can be considered grounds for an eternal ban. This only confirms the main drawback of all white ribbon people - intolerance to other people's opinions and criticism of their own.

"Lentach"

An information project on the public networks “Vkontakte”, “Odnoklassniki” and “Twitter”, in the past it was the “Lenta.ru” community on the Vkontakte network. It is presented as a news community, which is distinguished by the presentation of news in the form of short entries with attached satirical images made in the spirit of poralism and liberalism.

The editors have a moderately Russophobic and anti-Russian position; in some community entries there is support for the ideology of sodomy, as well as harsh and unfruitful criticism of the traditional beliefs of the peoples of Russia and official representatives of faiths, especially Orthodoxy and Islam.

The project carries out a fairly strict selection of news, which explains the presence of predominantly negative news about Russia or obvious fakes. Since August 2015, an independent robotic selection of comments on news has been introduced in the VKontakte community in order to combat comments of “low value.”

A point of view that differs from that supported by the management of the Lentach group is rarely in demand among its readers, so most comments that express it are not selected and are deleted. An indicative motto characteristic of representatives of the so-called. creative class - “propaganda of common sense.” As of January 24, 2016, the number of community readers on the VKontakte network exceeds 1 million people.

"Gaidar - Russian Liberalism"

They consider themselves as an independent educational project. In fact, the portal itself is engaged in blatant propaganda liberal mythology and justification for the collapse of the liberal reforms of the 90s, their futility and anti-science. The Russian people in the articles are viewed as inferior, flawed, and incapable of development. One of the characteristic features of most authors is poorly hidden racism and hatred of the Russian people. Systemic anti-Russian position in politics and economics. Denigration of the history and achievements of Russia.

"Jellyfish"

Online media based in Latvia. It was founded after a scandal at Lenta.ru, when, after an interview with one of the participants in the neo-Nazi organization Right Sector banned in Russia, the owners fired Lenta’s chief editor, Galina Timchenko. Along with her, a number of other employees left the publication, who formed the backbone of the new publication.

The publication is mainly engaged in selecting news from other resources (in many ways mentally close, for example Forbes or Snob), but also generates its own articles. As a result, the style of the old Lenta has been preserved, manifested in vaguely expressed Russophobia and an anti-Russian interpretation of world events, and a specific selection of news that promotes protest sentiments.

It was stated that the project would be financed by Khodorkovsky and the son of the founder of the telecom operator VimpelCom, Boris Zimin, but later they refused to participate in the project, at least officially. According to the results of the first year, the project turned out to be unprofitable. However, to this day the resource is visited quite a lot, and the design and layout of the site are done very professionally and there can be no question of the project being unprofitable.

People's Journalist

People's Journalist is an online publication located in Voronezh and Kursk and positions itself as “a newspaper independent of parties and individuals.” In practice this newspaper expresses the interests of the deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma Olga Li. In addition to criticizing local authorities, Olga Li actively promotes the interests of Alexei Navalny and the liberal parties YABLOKO and PARNAS in the region. He is also the main opponent of V.V. Putin’s independent policy, calling it “criminal,” for which it is actively promoted by such media as Deutsche Welle, Radio Liberty and its supporters (the same liberals) in power. The articles show a consistent anti-Russian position.

"New Newspaper"

Novaya Gazeta is one of the main printed publications of the white ribbon people, published since April 1, 1993. He does not hide his radical whiteness. The main owners are opposition banker Alexander Lebedev and Western-loving USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev. Most notable contributors and columnists:

Dmitry Bykov, Alexander Genis, Yulia Latynina, Irina Petrovskaya, Olga Romanova

In the comments to articles you can find different opinions, which indicates the moderation of censorship.

"News Uncensored"

This VKontakte group positions itself as an objective source of information, but in reality it is just another handshake group broadcasting an exclusively pro-Western point of view. A number of liberal media and groups on the social network VKontakte are used as a source of information. A derogatory attitude towards Russian history, culture, people, an overt anti-Russian orientation.

Just numbers

Launched at the end of 2015, the portal contains infographics with various statistics on Russia and a beautiful design. However, almost immediately this site began publishing manipulatively selected and equally manipulatively presented statistics, which Russian oppositionists began to disseminate.

An example of manipulation: an infographic entitled Vladimir Putin raised the minimum wage in Russia (the word “raised” is highlighted in the picture) indicates that the minimum wage of Russians in dollars decreased from $158 in 2013 to $88 in 2016. However, in reality, Russians receive and spend their salaries in rubles, while the purchasing power of the ruble in the domestic market is preserved. Despite the primary importance of this fact, data on the growth of the minimum wage in rubles is for some reason indicated in small print below. In addition, it is not clear why 2013 and 2016 are being compared, and not 2000 and 2015 or 2004 and 2015 - with such comparisons, salaries in Russia have increased exponentially, both in rubles and in dollars.

Another example of manipulation: in the publication Figure of the Day: Every seventh complaint to the ECHR is from Russia, the manipulation is that the total population of European countries within the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights is approximately 740 million (the population of all of Europe and the Asian parts of Turkey, Russia and the Transcaucasian countries), while the population of Russia is 146 million people. Thus, although the total share of Russia in the population European countries is 1/5, total number complaints to the ECHR account for only 1/7. Meanwhile, according to data for 2011-2013. the share of Russian complaints was higher and approximately equal to 1/5 (11-12 thousand out of 63-65 thousand complaints in general), and in 2014-2015. this share decreased to 1/7, that is, there is a decrease in both the absolute and relative number of complaints from Russia.

“Putin. Results"

The site is dedicated to the publication of reports by Boris Nemtsov and Co., as well as news and video materials on the topics discussed in these reports - corruption, roads, the oil needle, censorship, etc. As one gets around among white ribbon people, these reports are characterized by blatant unprofessionalism and misrepresentation of real facts . The famous report “Putin. War”, analyzed by the Russian Expert.

"RASHKA - SQUARE QUIDDED COAT"

Propaganda of anti-Russian stereotypes that emerged in the 90s on the basis of liberal propaganda. A comprehensive denigration of the country's history and culture. Blatant Russophobic propaganda aimed at destroying the basic values of the peoples of Russia. Approval of the actions of the United States and Ukrainian nationalists in Ukraine.

"Russian Fabula"

A resource whose main activities are entirely controlled by liberals, as a result of which racism, neo-fascist statements, Russophobia, pro-Western propaganda, glorification of fascism and the traitors who fought on its side in the Great Patriotic War flourish on the site. There is an actual reduction of Russian people to subhumans, in accordance with the basic doctrines of Nazism, which are defended by liberal activists under the guise of tolerance and neoliberalism.

"Rosbalt.ru"

Informational portal. Mainly specializes in justifying liberal values and denigrating the history of Russia; xenophobia towards the Russian people is not uncommon. Some blogs substantiate the racist theory about the unrelatedness of Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians, created back in the 70s with US money by a renegade bishop who supported Bandera and emigrated after the war. They broadcast the opinions of such anti-Russian figures as G. A. Yavlinsky and V. I. Novodvorskaya. Comprehensively substantiate guilt Russian government, literally in all areas where it operates.

TV-2 News Agency is a Tomsk TV channel that has been broadcasting since November 1990. The 1991 coup helped the channel gain an audience, and the money came from a scam with an “encrypted signal,” which even the official website talks about without much remorse.

In the 90s, he led the usual life of a provincial television company, broadcasting local advertising above the ticker (which still survives today), pirate Hollywood with a one-voice translation, “X-Files” and several home-grown programs (morning show / music news / evening and Saturday news releases, half dedicated to local politics / other little things like “Apple of Discord”, “Lexicon” and “Landmark”, most of which did not last any longer three years). It is distinguished by a rare adherence to principles: if back in 2000, the director of the company A. Mayofis proudly broadcast that “no one in Tomsk has enough money to buy TV-2 - it’s hundreds of thousands of dollars,” then literally a year later the company was sold to the oligarch Khodorkovsky.

It is not surprising that since his imprisonment, TV-2 has essentially turned into an openly anti-Putin mouthpiece, while maintaining “in spite of everything” a tender nostalgia for Yeltsin’s times. TV presenter Yulia Muchnik is particularly zealous in this field, as part of her analytical program “Rush Hour. Saturday" communicating with various public figures and bloggers, usually anti-Russian and pro-Western. The channel broadcasts from the Dozhd TV channel. Perhaps this link will tell you the best about the position of the channel.

Broadcasting was switched off on January 1, 2015 after a months-long conflict with the local television broadcasting center. This scandal, among other things, raised the question of the sources of financing for TV-2. The real degree of support for the channel in a city of half a million can be judged by the December picket “I am for TV-2,” which collected less than 4.5 thousand signatures.

Radio Echo of Moscow is one of the most important and oldest liberal, anti-Russian and pro-American resources. For some time now it has been present on the Internet as a news portal and blog platform. Gives the floor to all opponents of the “bloody regime”, formally owned by Gazprom , however, as Echo states, it is financed independently: through advertising of dietary supplements, nursing homes, Forex and the like. The most odious journalists working on Echo now or who once worked:

  • Alexey Venediktov
  • Evgenia Albats
  • Vladimir Kara-Murza
  • Yulia Latynina
  • Vladimir Varfolomeev
  • Sergey Parkhomenko
  • Vitaly Dymarsky
  • Matvey Ganapolsky
  • Boris Nadezhdin (blogger)

On the Echo website there is a blog platform where editors allow not only Russophobes, but also Kremlin-supporting bloggers to speak out. The radio station is organized in the form of a closed joint stock company. Currently, 66% of all shares of Ekho Moskvy CJSC belong to Gazprom-Media Holding, 34% are divided between the radio station’s journalists, of which 18% belong personally to Alexey Venediktov.

Also, since 2002, Echo of Moscow has the television company “Echo”, which produces television programs for Vladimir Gusinsky’s RTVi television channel (until 2002 - NTVi (NTV-Internationalational), which was the international version of the NTV channel from 1997 to 2002)

"Echo of Russia"

“Echo of Russia” is a socio-political magazine with a pronounced Russophobic orientation. In sections and subsections it conducts propaganda on following topics:

Disasters modern Russia(corruption, arbitrariness of officials, etc.)

Regions of Russia. Most of the stories are told about the North Caucasus and the Far East.

Olympics in Sochi.

Russia is an Evil Empire. It talks about YUKOS, victims of the regime, etc.

At the same time, the resource speaks very well of the United States and the West in general, and not without using the cliches “The Decaying West,” etc. The “Personalities” section presents the entire color of the anti-Russian public.

The pora-valit community is full of anti-Russian posts and the same participants. Texts with a different point of view on emigration (they say, hang on, it’s not that simple) are regularly rejected by moderators, and when they do pass censorship, they attract a barrage of hatred in the comments.

Newsland is a large portal specializing in reprinting news from the media by the hands of its visitors, who then comment on this news. It was founded in the mid-2000s by BKG President Mark Fedin and his American partners. By 2010, his clone appeared on a well-plowed Newsland field, social network Hydepark (Gidepark.ru).

In 2010, Fedin resold it to eMedia Holding for $3.8 million. From the day of the sale, the new owners of the company began to secretly support the Russophobic part of commentators. By 2013, the resource, with the support of full-time moderators, finally took shape into a cesspool of the most marginal and radical Russophobes reigning in the comments. Almost 99% of normal, adequate commentators left the resource, considering it beneath their dignity to communicate with the numerous anti-Russian clones that reigned on the portal.

The site officially prohibits insults to both users and other persons mentioned in the news being discussed, but this, again, tacitly concerns only pro-Russian commentators. Direct insults to Vladimir Putin gain hundreds of positive ratings and are de facto a way to increase ratings. The resource itself is a good example of uniting in a social community completely different in spirit and political views layers of society, communists, nationalists, white ribbon activists, anarchists and other marginalized people on the basis of a common hatred specifically for the Russian government.

The resource was excluded from the Yandex.News system and included in the spam list on the Russian-language Wikipedia.

Dirty.ru is a collective blog founded by Jovan Savovich in 2001, one of the first collective blogs of the “RU” domain. At the beginning of the tenth years it was captured by the white-ribbon ones. In June 2012, blogger Fritz Morgen published a post where he gave a scheme for capturing Dirty. During 2012, the state of Dirty could be characterized as a collective discussion of the news feed of Navalny and other representatives of the “swamp opposition” mixed with the posting of kittens and videos from YouTube.

At the end of 2012, Jovan decided to completely redraw the structure of the site and split it into a huge number of boards. After registration restrictions were lifted in March 2013 and the Dvachi board appeared, it became clear that Dirty had changed dramatically.

At the same time, as of October 2013, the main d3.ru still consists mostly of white tape. At the same time, it sometimes contains propaganda materials exclusive to Runet: such as an evening of questions with a real US Army soldier, for example.

In December 2013, in the wake of the yellow Maidan hysteria, at the request of the site owner Jovan, home page d3.ru suddenly disappeared all politically charged posts.

However, Jovan did not last long, and a week later the main site was again filled with excellent Russophobia.

E1.RU is a popular portal of the city of Yekaterinburg. The news section of the forum is occupied by extremely aggressive Russophobes. Any political news is received with hostility, with mud thrown at everyone from Putin to the city administration.

The conflict between Alexei Navalny and the liberal media began to fragment the opposition environment into very small groups. Navalny insisted that leading business publications should promptly quote his investigations without subjecting the facts to fact-checking. Business publications do not agree, for this the blogger accuses them of prostitution. Moreover, the real reason for his attacks on the press, apparently, is completely different.

The conflict flared up after Navalny’s FBK published another investigation about officials, but the media, according to Navalny, did not pick up this news quickly enough. In response, he demanded that journalists “not be prostitutes and not remain silent.”

"A bunch of cowardly murziloids"

After releasing the investigation, Navalny visited the websites of “few business media outlets that consider themselves respectable publications” and pedantically counted how many materials were published about Navalny’s investigation. “Kommersant” – 0 notes; "RBC" - 0 notes; “Vedomosti” – 0 notes,” writes Navalny.

“It’s amazing how Kudryavtsev managed to turn the best newspaper in the country, which defines the advanced standards of journalism, into a bunch of cowardly murziloids in just two years,” Alexei Navalny reports his opinion on his Facebook page. Apparently, we are talking about Demyan Kudryavtsev, the owner of Vedomosti.

The Vedomosti newspaper chose to enter into a dialogue with Navalny, explaining in detail that the publication cannot publish such an article without fact-checking (fact checking), so it made a request to Rosreestr and to the press service of Navalny himself (the blogger tries not to communicate directly with journalists). In response, Navalny refused to comment to the newspaper, saying that the business publications with which he was offended “have ceased to benefit society and perform the function of the media.”

What should be the function of modern media in the opinion of liberal activists, explained the editor-in-chief of the Daily Journal, Alexander Ryklin. It turns out that Vedomosti should not have wasted time on fact-checking, but should have immediately circulated Navalny - and only then conducted its own investigation.

It is characteristic that earlier the same Ryklin had already expressed that fact-checking is not so important if the information comes from “our own people.” This happened in the scandal with Novaya Gazeta journalist Victoria Ivleva, who published fake news that a prisoner in a Russian prison had been released and was flying to Kyiv. A pool of liberal journalists spoke out for the right of “our own people,” “people with good faces,” to publish unverified information.

So in the case of Navalny, in whose reputation, according to his supporters, in terms of the reliability of the facts, “there were some flaws,” you should not bother yourself with double-checking the data. As Navalny himself once demanded: “don’t reflect, spread it.” And if a few years ago this command was addressed only to his supporters, now the demand has spread to the entire journalistic circle.

Frustration from Sobchak

This scandal also differs from previous ones in that previously Navalny and the liberal media had a single pool of supporters. Moreover, it was business publications like Vedomosti that scaled up Navalny’s minority shareholder, who was engaged in greenmail and leaked inside information to journalists about the companies he attacked. As a result, the blogger became a newsmaker, but he behaves like an ingrown governor of a depressed region, demanding that newspapers print his press releases without abbreviation and with the best possible photograph.

“The media should not be the personal army of any politician, and in the Beautiful Russia of the Future they will not become one either,” notes Alexander Amzin, a lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University and media consultant. He suggests "in free time conduct free seminars on media literacy for Russian politicians” so that they no longer find themselves in such scandalous situations.

The liberal public had to split where there was no split yet. Navalny has already quarreled with political scientists, with part of his own team, and with other politicians in the opposition camp. But liberal journalists found a way to mutually beneficial coexistence with the blogger. After open accusations of “prostitution” and “murzilism,” it will not be possible to maintain the status quo.

Former editor-in-chief of Vedomosti Tatyana Lysova expressed your opinion about the hero of the scandal: “Okay, stop being restrained. Alexey Navalny is just a *** don!” And liberal poet Alina Vitukhnovskaya believes that “Navalny is ceasing to be part of the political mainstream.”

Navalny is “behaving disgustingly,” writes Meduza project general director Galina Timchenko. In her opinion, he

“has long considered itself the only media in the country, but, in the end, “no one will give us a ready-made proletariat.” We work with what we have."

However, not all of Timchenko’s colleagues, apparently, are ready to work with “what they have.” RBC and Kommersant, accused by Navalny of not reacting quickly enough, did not write about his investigation at all. Previously, publications collaborated with the blogger and published information coming from him.

Vedomosti nevertheless published a note. But its author, Elena Mukhametshina, told Navalny: since he personally called her a prostitute, “now, apparently, I should think about the same thing about you.” Mukhametshina, by her admission, has written about Navalny “more than anyone else in this country” over the past four years, but now, the journalist turns to the blogger, “I no longer have faith in your words, because you lied about me personally.” Navalny writes to Mukhametshina that her comment is pathetic, and this says a lot about Navalny’s ability to adequately interact with independent people, and not just with his small circle of online fans.

Other fans of Navalny justify his breakdown as moral suffering due to political failures. Navalny’s sharp attack on Vedomosti “is a reflection of frustration from the recent Russian presidential election campaign, where he was not allowed, but Ksenia Sobchak was admitted,” wrote a supporter of the blogger, Valery Adzhiev, whose comment Navalny reposted on his page.

This, apparently, is the real reason for the attacks on Vedomosti. And this is not at all the excessive scrupulousness of journalists. It is believed that the owner of Vedomosti, Demyan Kudryavtsev, was involved in managing Sobchak’s election headquarters, although this was not officially stated. Navalny cannot forgive Sobchak for crossing his path in politics, and openly made claims against her. Navalny’s resentment towards Sobchak has not gone away, and he continues to attack her supporters in the media environment. Therefore, the latest scandal, “Navalny is offended by journalists,” is actually just a continuation of the long-running political series “Navalny is offended by Sobchak.”

Remchukov emphasizes the importance of analyzing the structure of “basic needs and values” of voters.
It is safe to say that both Putin and Trump clearly understand the “structure of basic needs and values” of their peoples and build on this high-quality populism for the majority subject to their influence (which seems to be 86 and 50 percent, respectively).
But populism is different from populism.
It’s one thing to flirt with the base instincts of the crowd to exploit the power syndrome and buy a gullible electorate through locally effective, but very spectacular “straight lines” and other propaganda campaigns.
But it’s a completely different matter to achieve real efficiency of the economy and not allow thieves, at least into the prime minister’s chair (and, of course, be more careful with cellos yourself).
That is, different populisms lead to oppositely different goals, and “correct” populism should lead not to the insane enrichment of only the national leader and his servants, but also to the prosperity of the entire country.
Why don’t our people fall for the “correct” populism? Because no one offers “correct” populism, taking into account the “structure of basic needs and values” of the people? Or, perhaps, because the aggressive propaganda and behind-the-scenes security tricks of our lucky national leader do not allow the people to hear the opposition in its full voice, undistorted by the lying pro-government media?

andrey_borisovich: / Or, perhaps, because the aggressive propaganda and behind-the-scenes KGB tricks of our lucky national leader do not allow the people to hear the opposition in its full voice, undistorted by the lying pro-government media? /

Navalny's film about Medvedev was watched by 25 or 30 million people. The same number of people don’t watch Salovyov and Kiselyov. The opposition also has EM (an audience of several million), TK Dozhd, Novaya Gazeta, New Times, BBC Russian Service, Voice of America, Radio Liberty and Western media,

einsam August 19, 2017 | 01:43

andrey_borisovich: What do you need to hear? Apart from calls to repentance and permanent grief against the backdrop of the distribution of territories to neighboring states, there are no specific proposals. No one is interested in “de-Stalinization,” because no one needs it on the scale of Russian society, and even more so, it in no way affects the filling of the refrigerator. But economic reforms have an impact, but specific program reforms among the so-called there is no opposition! Because it basically ignores the fact that the current state is based on privatization, which has placed most of the country's resources in the hands of a small group of people. Without revising this basis, it is impossible to talk about any fundamental changes. Etc. the opposition does not touch this basis, because it feeds from the hand of the oligarchy. When another opposition appears, which will make the issue of privatization of the 90s relevant, then it will be possible to consider the programs and proposals of such opposition. But at the moment there is no one, so there is no one to listen to and nothing to discuss.

andrey_borisovich: I don’t believe that Remchukov is so naive that he himself doesn’t understand what he writes.
According to his text, it turns out that Putin meets the basic needs of Russians. Those. the needs are a deterioration in the standard of living, corruption at all levels of self-elected government, economic recession and stagnation, the disappearance of affordable cheese and its replacement with palm oil cheese products, food inflation, etc., life surrounded by enemies, because . Russia cannot have friends other than the army and navy and, naturally, has a burning need for TV propaganda.

Remchukov did not consider it necessary to mention that Putin’s basic needs and values are a lifelong stay in power by him, along with his thieving KGB entourage, and the unpunished plunder of the country’s mineral resources.
For the sake of these values, he and his gang of thieves in law (in the most literal sense of the word) will not stop at murder and war with fraternal Ukraine and Christian Georgia, or even at the aggravation, moreover, the severance of relations with America and Europe, no matter what. cost the Russian people.

csipsmn:
I always respected Remchukov. But in his last performances everything became gray and primitive. Everything is considered too simplified and blurred. Trump has his own problems and methods, Putin has his own. Too much different countries and peoples. As for Trump, as one American scientist said, he speaks first, thinks later, if he thinks at all. You can't say more precisely. Trump is a businessman in a very narrow scope of business. He has no experience or knowledge in everything else. The Republican Party is very conservative and largely racist. The country's press belongs to different groups and accordingly supports different courses, those that suit their interests and their clients. Trump is an upstart. A very significant portion of the Republican leadership does not support him and simply opposes him. In reality, he has no program, just populism, not confirmed by any examination. no resources. In principle, he is doomed whether the party will establish de facto control over us, and he will only be the Republicans grimacing. But this will lead to a very sad result for both the party and the country. In Russia everything is clearer and simpler. There is a real dictatorship in Russia, often a caricature, but still tough. The future is also sad.

silicon:
You're delusional!
It was not the Republican Party, but the Democratic Party that was the party of southerners and slave owners.
And today this leftist organization (think Bernie Sanders) nurtures the likes of Black Lives Matter, who are outright black racists - a kind of black Ku Klux Klan.
It was they who started the fight by illegally attending a permitted meeting of defenders of monuments from demolition.
By the way, before this, the COURT PROHIBITED the demolition of monuments.

sasha2011, I completely agree with you. In America in recent years, the alliance of black extremists with pseudo-liberals has gained strength, which has moved from propaganda terror to real terror. Demands for the demolition of monuments, attacks on peaceful demonstrators trying to protect them, and declaring all demonstrators en masse fascists are real terror. They want to dominate, they want to impose their ideas, they want to silence everyone. I am surprised by the superficial assessment of these events from the usually profound Remchukov, who does not understand that this black-pink alliance has already fed up not the fascists, not the blue collar workers, not the poorly educated whites, but all those who value freedom, i.e. true liberals. Many of them had not previously participated in political life; they probably thought that “they don’t bother us, and that’s good.” But now they felt that there was an attack on those values that they could not sacrifice. And it was such people from the “silent majority” who brought Trump to power. These are not Nazis, not racists - these are ordinary people who began to speak out when they felt their rights were being attacked.
I wish the same for us...

15:36 — REGNUM Publications calling themselves “free media of Russia” are recalling their correspondents from the State Duma in protest against the decision of the ethics commission, which demanded proof of the fact of harassment by Leonid Slutsky to the producer of Dozhd and a correspondent of the BBC Russian service.

It becomes obvious that the “Slutsky compliment” itself is a trifle compared to the “crime” that the commission committed by demanding evidence (!). This requirement in itself is much worse than harassment, because over time it can get to the point where the press will not be allowed to lie at all.

The hysteria under the slogan “They have the right to rape us” refers not to the rule of law, but to legal lawlessness, when just one word “victim” is enough - and the “criminal” can say goodbye to his job, reputation and family. It is not the sexual safety of their correspondents working in the State Duma, but the introduction into the legal field of the Russian Federation of the practice of admitting guilt in the absence of evidence - this is the most important thing for which our media, free from legal consciousness, are fighting.

Representatives of the liberal minority in the last presidential elections received the expected meager amount of votes, but the longing for power over the majority continues to torment the imagination of the overall Russian liberal. Making Russia a country where, following the Western model, the word “harassment” will become the most terrible scare at any level, will in fact be an attempt to drive a large part of the population under the control of a smaller one. Thus raising authoritarianism to absolute, where the brightest representatives of the most exotic minorities rule the roost. And if we remember that the only thing they like to shout about more than about the “Putin regime” is about the gulags, then it’s not difficult to imagine the fate of the victims who will be reached by freedom fighters yearning for a sense of power.

But, of course, it is necessary to act, and once a position has been stated, it is necessary to defend it. We believe that the most appropriate development of the situation would be the decision of all suffering media to recall their correspondents, not only from the “become unsafe” State Duma - after all, there are still many places in the country where evidence may be required. The Federation Council, the courts, briefings, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB, in the end... Actually, the problem, as always with liberals, is rooted in the very structure of our state, and it is such that there is a presumption of innocence in it. That is, not a single free media correspondent literally has anywhere to step without running into the notorious “innocent until proven.” From this exhausting situation There seems to be one outcome for the “defenders of freedom”: to recall correspondents from Russia. Perhaps there are countries that match their dreams, and where nothing needs to be proven at all.

Again, what about Slutsky? - in the States, right now there are already two young ladies attacking Trump, one is a porn actress, the other is not, and why are the correspondents of “Echo”, “Dozhd” and “Kommersant” worse than them? Nothing! And there is also Hollywood, where the actors are beautiful and rich, and you can make money from accusations of harassment, and not only raise hype around your publication, attracting attention, if not with the quality of the material, then at least with scandalous stories.

In turn, correspondents IA REGNUM who have the ability to record what is happening around them and can stand up for themselves within the law without the immediate involvement of law enforcement agencies, are ready to increase their presence in official bodies for comprehensive coverage of their work.

And also about the quality of the Moscow-Hollywood flash mob for freedom and solidarity. When the Belarusian authors of our agency (including the authors of one of the current Protestants) were subjected to real political repressions of the modern gulag in Minsk simply for their loyalty, freedom of thought and freedom of speech, all these fighters did not say a word in their defense. And cowardly and hypocritically they kept their tongues where they were accustomed to keep them. This is all there is to know about their freedom, their solidarity, their dignity and their human conscience.

"ZhZ" was created in 1995-1996 as a kind of Internet federation of several thick literary magazines that agreed to exhibit on the Internet together. During the work of "ZhZ", the concept of the site was determined - a presentation of the phenomenon of Russian thick magazine literature in its current state as a phenomenon, first of all, aesthetic. In practice, this meant that ZhZ, replenishing its composition, could not include highly specialized, socio-political and, in fact, political journals, and also avoided journals with a frankly low artistic level, journals that had just formed, as well as journals whose politics is based solely on ideological acuity. And, of course, ZhZ does not deal with publications whose materials may contain propaganda of war, violence, religious, racial and national intolerance. Issues of admitting new members to ZhZ are decided by the Council of the “Magazine Hall”, which is made up of representatives of the magazines that founded the “Magazine Hall”: “Arion”, “Friendship of Peoples”, “Znamya”, “Foreign Literature”, “NLO”, “New Youth", "New World", "October".
