To do this, tuck the bottom, making an allowance that is equal to the width of the regiline tape. Add another 1 cm.

Fold up the bottom of the frill. Do this again so that the width of the frill is equal to the width of the hemline, iron.

Now put regilline tape into this hem and stitch it.

An evening dress with a nipped waist and an airy skirt will allow you to try on this look. Light colors and light flowing colors will bring tenderness, charm and mystery.

The dress is based on a corset, flared, gathered at the waist. The top is made in the form of a translucent blouse with a boat neck. A wide belt focuses attention on a thin waist.

What you need

We choose fabrics that are light and transparent. You will need two types. To make the cost of the dress lower, you can opt for organza and veil. If there is no goal to save money, you can use more expensive fabrics: such as chiffon, silk, tulle.

It is important to remember that choosing fabric is half the battle. Too hard a material will make the clothes “clumsy” and heavy, but smooth materials are suitable for professionals because they are more difficult to work with.

Sewing a skirt

In order to sew a skirt, you need to follow these steps:

We fold 3 meters of organza into four layers.

From the line, measure the length of the skirt (approximately 110 centimeters) and draw. Remember that an allowance of about 5 cm is required.

Draw a boat neck and cut everything out.
We cut the back in half and make a sharp triangular cutout.
Sew the side seams and trim the edges.
We connect both parts of the dress.
We decorate the waist with a wide one, the pattern of which is made along an oblique line.
The dress is ready.

For such a dress, you need fabric for the skirt, equal to two lengths of the finished skirt. Let's start with the underskirt and overskirt.

I sewed on the facing and, turning it to the wrong side, sewed the seam. Thin straps were inserted between the seams connecting the facing and the bodice. I inserted a hidden zipper into the middle seam of the bodice.

The bodice and overskirt need to be connected. Sew elastic onto this seam from the inside out.

Proyas. Two strips 10 centimeters wide plus seam allowances must be glued with adhesive interlining and stitched around the perimeter, leaving part of the seam unstitched.

Through this hole, turn the belt right side out and stitch along the edge with a finishing stitch. I added thin stripes of trim along the waistband; I thought it looked prettier.
