We connect the STB (set-top box, receiver) to the FIRST (!) LAN port. The same one that is used for the Internet. The remaining three LAN ports (2,3,4) are used for “regular” interactive TV from Rostelecom). If you have a router connected to it, temporarily disconnect it (all settings will remain in place).

Let's say a torrent from a home computer completely clogs the channel. This is just an example - speed can drop for various reasons. By the way, the bitrate decreases even when the pppoe session is restarted (when the modem is rebooted, for example).
