Three-dimensional or, as they are now called, 3D drawings evoke a sense of reality in viewers, while beginning artists have a misunderstanding of how the illusion of a three-dimensional image is obtained. Creating visual drawings is actually not that difficult, the main thing is to correctly distribute the shadows and light.

Do you want to learn how to draw in 3D format? Follow our tips:

  • at the first stage, work with a real object that you can touch and examine up close and from afar;
  • First make a sketch, carefully drawing the contours of the object;
  • decide on the light source and remember - only side lighting (from the right or left) clearly highlights the volume, shape, texture of the object, and the closer the object is to the light, the lighter it will be, the further away - the darker.

How to quickly draw a 3D drawing

Let's look at the easiest way to create a three-dimensional drawing using a pencil on a regular notebook sheet of paper. The object is a wooden spoon, the light source is on the left.

  • Place the spoon with the concave side on a sheet of paper, hold it with one hand, and trace it with a pencil with the other.

  • Using a ruler, draw the entire sheet of paper, except the object, into strips 1 cm wide.

  • Draw curved lines on the spoon - a continuation of the straight lines of the sheet that are torn in the middle.

  • Give the spoon an outline by tracing its right side with a pencil, and erasing a thin strip on the left side so that the image visually takes on a three-dimensional shape.

  • While consolidating your skills, practice - trace your hand, line the outline in a similar way, darken the drawing. If you feel that the brush has turned out voluminous, proceed to more complex creativity.

How to draw a 3D drawing with a simple pencil

Prepare a landscape sheet, a simple pencil, an eraser and draw, guided by our picture tips:

  • draw a parallelogram on a piece of paper, inside which draw parallel lines to each side;

  • add 4 more segments in the resulting quadrilateral and two oblique lines in the upper right and lower left corners;

  • outline the outline of the drawing with a bold line;

  • draw lines according to the sample;

  • erase the basting;

  • shade the rectangle using horizontal shading, making smooth transitions from dark to light colors.

How to draw a 3D drawing - a complicated version

We will draw a staircase. For this work you will need: pencil, ruler, thick paper.

  • Bend the workpiece and draw two lines in different directions at an angle of approximately 40º. Mark the transverse sticks - future steps.

  • Connect the extreme points of the stairs with a barely noticeable line. Draw the falling shadow from the cross bars using a soft lead.

  • Take a sheet of paper with a drawing and lift one side of it up so that the staircase stands straight, then the drawn shadow will create the illusion of reality and volume.

So, to create a 3D drawing you don’t need any special skill or knowledge; simple perseverance mixed with our tips will help you create a real masterpiece and amaze your friends and acquaintances with your work.

A 3D drawing is a picture that comes to life before a person’s eyes. It creates the illusion that the viewer is actually here and now, although it is just a drawing drawn in three dimensions. Many people wonder if it’s possible to learn to draw like this themselves. Let's see how an ordinary person can learn to draw three-dimensional pictures in a short time.

In order to learn how to draw three-dimensional paintings, you only need three things. This:

  • simple graphite pencil;
  • landscape paper;
  • ruler.

We will not touch on buildings or human figures, as this will be difficult for those who have just picked up a pencil. Let's start with a regular 3D rectangle.

You need to draw a tilted rectangle or almost parallelogram. Lines need to be drawn only by lightly pressing the pencil. Since they should be easily erased when they are no longer needed.

Inside the rectangle, you also need to draw one line on each side, which will be parallel to each other.

Inside the already drawn lines, again we must once again draw one line on each side. Then we also draw two short lines on two opposite corners.

Then you need to take a grease pencil and, pressing as hard as possible, you need to draw the main outline of the rectangle, only capturing the oblique lines.

Then draw bolder lines inside the rectangle.

You will need to erase all those lines that are not highlighted in bold.

Then we will need to paint the inner sides of the rectangle with a darker color, and the outer ones lighter, so that there is contrast. Thanks to this, our picture will look as if it was not drawn, but in fact this object is lying on the table.

In this first lesson we learned how to draw a rectangle. This was the first step towards learning more advanced drawing in 3D. Now you can move on to more complex options. They can also be drawn on paper with a pencil.

Improved 3D pencil drawing

Now let's move on to the second step in the process of drawing a 3c drawing on paper. For this we will need:

  • checkered paper;
  • pencil.

Since we do not yet have the qualities of a highly skilled artist, we will need checkered paper. It will be needed so that we do not measure by eye the dimensions of our future third drawing. It is better to calculate the dimensions on paper by cells so that the model turns out to be well-drawn, three-dimensional and does not look like an image distorted by ripples.

Now we will learn to draw steps in volume:

  1. We draw lines horizontally for seventeen cells, and then we go down from the right and left sides of the drawn line by ten cells vertically and also draw lines.
  2. On the left side to the right we draw a line of 6 cells, and on the right side - by 4 cells, also to the right. Then we go down sixteen cells again using vertical stripes. And we complete these lines with a horizontal strip of fifteen cells.
  3. Then on the right we must select the triangle and the pentagon.
  4. Now from the upper and lower corners you need to draw two longitudinal lines to our triangle and pentagon. And inside the latter you need to make a grid consisting of squares.
  5. Between the longitudinal lines it is necessary to draw transverse ones.
  6. And at the bottom of the figure you will need to draw steps.
  7. Then we take a pencil in our hands and shade the resulting steps.
  8. In order to give volume to this drawing, it is necessary to highlight some details in a lighter tone, and shade others much darker.

Draw with a pen in A4 format

So we learned how to do work using a pencil on a sheet of checkered paper. Now let's try to draw something with a pen on a sheet of A4 paper.

There's nothing complicated about it. The same technique is used for the handle. What we will need:

  • A4 paper;
  • pen;
  • ruler.

Let's draw a simple staircase:

  1. Using a ruler and pen, draw an even rectangle;
  2. Then, you need to draw the steps going down. They should also be drawn very smoothly and efficiently;
  3. The steps should be perfectly level and it is advisable that they decrease in width from the first to the last.
  4. As a result of reducing the steps, we are left with free space, which we paint over with a pen.
  5. Then we must also shade each step. The surface is lighter shaded, and the sides are darker.
  6. Now, to create volume, you need to draw a neat, almost invisible line across the steps at the very end.
  7. Then you also need to carefully shade them, and make the last two steps darker.
  8. Now you need to look at this drawing from a certain angle. And you will see how the picture has turned into a three-dimensional one.

The best handicrafts

In addition to the usual 3D drawing, with which you can create three-dimensional drawings on linen, paper, and school notebooks, there are now special pens that help you create unusually magnificent figures of animals, alien creatures, and buildings in space. 3D pen drawings are amazing:

This product can be used not only by adults, but also by children. The main thing is to follow the rules that are written in the instructions. And you can see the works created with such pens in the photo in our article.

Birthday gift: three-dimensional drawing

As you know, the best gift for a loved one is when it is made with your own hands. And we have already learned how to make 3D drawings on paper and a special pen. I offer paper art or three-dimensional drawings made from paper napkins. It is ideal as a gift for your beloved mother or for the birthday of your beloved or lover.

To do this, a rough sketch of the gift drawing is made on paper. Or you can print it from your computer. Then you need to do the following:

  • choose plain or colored napkins;
  • then cut these napkins one centimeter wide;
  • twist into flagella, moistening lightly with water;
  • then we glue them onto paper, creating the image as you intended;
  • You can also use plain white napkins if you intend to paint your product;
  • let the product dry and then open it with colorless varnish.

Greetings, dear readers of my blog. Rustam Zakirov is in touch again, and I have another cool article for you in which I will show you how to draw 3D drawings step by step for everyone and absolutely everyone. This method is unique (despite the fact that it is the simplest), I doubt that they will tell you about it anywhere else (I personally have not seen it), so read the article to the end and very carefully. Today we will draw these realistic matches.

I pulled out this drawing from this picture that I found on the Internet. This way you can convert almost any pictures into 3D (I’ll be happy to share my technology).

Your 3D drawing (if you do everything correctly) should look approximately the same in the photo. For our 3D drawing, as always, we will need a piece of paper, simple pencils (one “medium”, the other “soft”)

STEP #1. We translate.

It’s simple, I’m giving you our ready-made (translated into 3D format) drawing. Here he is stretched out.

And you lean your piece of paper against the finished 3D drawing on the monitor screen, the piece of paper shines through and you calmly transfer the finished 3D drawing onto your piece of paper (we use a pencil of “medium” hardness).

To begin with, we translate only the main contours of our 3D drawing. Something like this.

STEP #2. We finish drawing and adding flowers.

Next, we finish all the other small elements of our drawing and shade all the shadows. Our 3D drawing should look approximately like the original, there should be no unpainted elements (we do all this with a pencil of “medium” hardness). Our 3D drawing is almost ready.

STEP #3. Let's circle.

At this stage, we take a “soft” pencil (well, you understand what I mean) and outline the main elements of our drawing. This will make our 3D drawing seem more expressive.

STEP #4. We take a photo.

Now let's see how our 3D drawing looks in photographs. When you take photographs, select the angles so that the 3D drawing matches the original (picture from the Internet) as closely as possible.

And this is what the version I just printed on a color printer looks like.

By the way, if you want your 3D drawing to be smaller (I understand, not everyone wants to bother with a 3D drawing that covers an entire A4), you simply reduce the screen scale to the size you need.

If you want your drawing to be even more voluminous, cut out part of the sheet.

Printed version.

All our 3D drawing is ready. Be sure to share your opinion about the drawing in the comments. This is where I end my article, I hope it was useful to you. If you want to learn how to create such 3D drawings yourself and use them for various purposes, then I recommend it to you.

Personally, with its help I drew drawings of varying complexity and purpose. So go for it. Good luck to you all, good drawings, bye...

The art of depicting three-dimensional drawings has become an incredible mystery for beginning modern artists, especially for children. “How to draw a 3D drawing on paper?” beginners ask, and at the same time they put their dream on the back burner, saying it’s hard, it takes a long time, I can’t handle it, etc. However It’s worth studying several technical nuances, carefully viewing the video and photos create simple 3D drawings (for starters), and you will be convinced that everyone can depict three-dimensional pictures.

A three-dimensional image, no matter how you slice it, still requires some theoretical knowledge. You should master the most basic concepts and terms:

  • sketch;
  • perspective;
  • sketch;
  • transmission of light and shadow;
  • vision angle;
  • angle

It is also worth remembering the school lessons of trigonometry and drawing. “Make friends” with a simple pencil, an ordinary eraser, daylight, and also artificial light. Start with the simplest images and shapes.

This video tutorial demonstrates to all beginners how to easily and effortlessly apply a 3D image to paper. The girl talks in detail about the 3D drawing technique and goes through the whole process step by step.

How to draw 3D drawings on paper with a pencil: a step-by-step process for beginners

Drawings that literally “break out” of their paper space and rush into distant spaces are truly mesmerizing. The wonders associated with the perspective of depicting spatial objects and transferring them with all their nuances onto paper or any other surface make it possible to repeat the natural features of objects using a pencil or pen.

And now we will tell you how to draw 3D drawings on paper with a pencil for beginners step by step. This method is simple and accessible, it is understandable even to children, since the whole process is depicted in pictures.

  1. Select the object you are going to draw, as well as the tools and materials to work with. We will draw with a simple pencil in a regular notebook. The object can be any three-dimensional object - for example, a wooden spoon or your own hand.

  2. Decide on the light source for your drawing, find the ideal angle at which you will depict the subject. Trace it with a pencil.

  3. Use a ruler to draw a leaf, bypassing the area inside the item itself.

  4. And now we create an optical illusion of a three-dimensional object by drawing curved lines in the middle of the spoon.

  5. We give our object a contour, depicting the contrast of light and shadow. We got clearer outlines of the object.

  6. And on the opposite side of the outline, on the contrary, we erase the outline lines so that the image of the spoon becomes three-dimensional. This is how professional artists paint their masterpieces, and this is how we draw too.

Using a similar method You can also draw your own hand.

3D images for beginners: drawing a volumetric staircase

And this is another series of photos dedicated to the process of creating a 3D drawing. This time we will need thick paper, you can take cardboard.

We need to bend the piece of paper in the center and draw 2 lines in different directions, at the same angle (35-40 degrees). We draw, as it were, a mirror image of two lines, on one side and the other.

We begin to draw transverse lines.

These will be the steps of our ladder.
