Visored vs Espada, what a series. Bleach fillers

“Bleach” aka “Bleach” is one of the most iconic phenomena in Japanese animation along with such titans as “Naruto” and “One Piece”, to put it simply, it’s a damn popular thing. A wonderful shounen trio dictating the fashion for certain values in Japanese animation, and thereby acquiring an army of loyal fans. Whether it’s good or bad, decide for yourself, but you can’t argue against this fact. Because “Bleach” rightfully earned its popularity. This series was in ongoing status from 2004 until 2012. Think about these numbers: actually eight years. Of course, “Bleach” not only established itself among the shonen company, but also gained fans all over the world and became one of the most recognizable anime series of our time. 366 episodes, just think about this three-digit figure. It doesn't matter how many episodes there were with fillers. 366 episodes is just cool, no matter how you look at it.

The plot starter, which fits into the first episode, serves simply as a formality to tick off the menu. 15 year old Kurosaki Ichigo lives everyday life an ordinary school student. However, there are great nuances in this everyday life; he can see spirits and ghosts that are invisible to an ordinary person. Of course, a wonderful day comes when the goddess of death or, in other words, a shinigami visits him. This happens for a reason, because the shinigami’s duties include clearing the worlds of evil spirits (Hollows). There was a Hollow wandering around Ichigo's area, and Rukia Kuchiki rescues our hero from danger. But not everything went well, she cannot fight any longer and transfers her powers to Ichigo. Ichigo becomes a temporary shinigami.

If you look at it objectively, the plot is far from brilliant. There is no arc to arc; moreover, the fillers distract from the linear plot. However, we must take into account that “Bleach” is first and foremost a shounen, and then everything else. Taking this into account, one must understand that in a shonen work, no matter what it is, the plot is far from the most important. What is more important is not what the plot is in the series, but how it is presented to the viewer. It is presented in the series very competently. In this case, it is tactful and correct according to all Shonen canons.

I know that “Bleach” is criticized by many, but even more people love and watch it. This is actually an indicator of whether the series is successful or not. Therefore, it is safe to say that the pros outweigh the cons. The series is mostly criticized for its cliches. However, the situation in this case is absurd. What exactly is meant by this word? Have you ever thought? Everyone, as a rule, has something of their own. Therefore, such criticism is rather subjective. One thing is for sure, what some people perceive as a cliche is a genre attribute. Just for fun, read the description of the shonen genre.

Actually, returning to the Shonen canons, it’s worth clarifying what it is. Although I think many people understand this very well, having watched at least the same “Bleach” or the even more striking example of “Naruto” and “One-Piece”. Perhaps each shounen has its own heroes, atmosphere, villains and secrets, but more importantly, each shounen should have its own unique or, in other words, branded face. So “Bleach” has no problems with this. I think everyone already understands perfectly well that “Bleach” is a successful and recognizable project. At the same time, the series preserves all the canons of the shounen genre.

Firstly, this is the main character: he must be an optimist in life values, self-confident and self-confident, and also cares about their loved ones and friends. The emphasis in shounen works shifts towards friendship and camaraderie. As they say, you can’t climb a mountain without friends, and if someone offends a friend, then you need to protect him if the situation requires it. Secondly, this is, of course, a progressive, but at the same time dynamic development of the plot and events. And, of course, where would we be without spectacular battles and fights? Thirdly, female characters, as a rule, are always charming and attractive and are an additional factor for the main character to demonstrate his leadership qualities. These are the main components of a shonen series. Maybe I forgot about something, but it doesn’t matter anymore. The components seem simple at first glance? Yes, it’s just in the simplicity that lies the complexity. The studio needs to do all this competently so that banal things arouse interest among the public, which, frankly speaking, is already spoiled by high-quality shounen projects. After all, frankly speaking, this popular genre in Japanese animation. The shounen audience makes up the largest contingent of viewers at around 40%. Even in today's mundane harem or ecchi, there are elements of shonen. It is very difficult to please such an audience. That’s why our “Bleach” is more valuable: it didn’t just please the majority of viewers, they asked for more. But to some extent it has also become a cult phenomenon in the modern anime community.

The original author, Kubo Taito, is still publishing the manga. By the way, new arch very interesting in the manga. Why? New interesting characters were introduced, old characters were brought out of the shadows, such as the surviving Arrancars, and also new enemy truly powerful. Simply put, it's an epic ending. This is where the question arises. Why did the anime end when the manga only became more interesting? The answer is quite simple: Studio Pierrot actually caught up with the release of the manga. A pause in itself is necessary so that the gap between chapters and series grows again. Such a nuance can be corrected with fillers, but the studio decided to do otherwise. So there will be a continuation of the anime and, as officials said, the depiction will be different, much higher quality, almost revolutionary. All you have to do is wait for the release new series and see for yourself everything.

To summarize, I will tell you my point of view. I personally enjoyed watching Bleach. I'm not a fan of this piece, but... big fan the shounen genre as a whole. So it was nice to watch this series. It's a bit of a shame that it ended when the manga was gaining momentum. However, one must realize that the situation requires it. If you look into everything, it becomes clear what the studio did correct solution, to which it is advisable to treat with understanding. This is the case when there is no need to recommend watching the series. After all, “Bleach” is so popular that every person who is even more or less interested in Japanese animation has heard and has a formed idea about it in their head, and this in itself says a lot.

Episode 1: The Day I Became a Shinigami

Ichigo Kurosaki is a fifteen-year-old high school student who can see spirits. One day he tries to protect a ghost girl from an aggressive evil spirit (“hollow”) and meets a black-haired girl named Rukia. Ichigo learns of the existence of a world of Shinigami who patrol the world and protect people from Hollows. Rukia begins to explain the goals and objectives of the Shinigami. The Hollow returns and attacks Ichigo's sister Yuzu Kurosaki, Rukia is wounded and is forced to transfer part of her powers to Ichigo - spiritual energy. Ichigo himself becomes a Shinigami.

Episode 2: A Job for the Shinigami

Ichigo meets Rukia at his own school and learns that she has completely lost her spiritual energy and cannot fight. Rukia asks Ichigo to do the Shinigami's work for her and banish Hollows until she regains her strength. At first Ichigo refuses.

Episode 3: Brother's Wish, Sister's Wish

Ichigo's classmate Orihime Inoue is being hunted by her brother Sora, who died and became a Hollow. Ichigo enters the battle, saving his friend. Eventually, Sora comes to his senses and voluntarily agrees to die by the Shinigami's sword. Now his soul will be purified and go to “heaven” - the Society of Souls. Ichigo accepts Rukia's offer and agrees to work as her deputy.

Episode 4: Cursed Parrot

Ichigo's friend Chad finds a cute parrot, which for some unknown reason is cursed and brings misfortune to its owners. It turns out that the parrot has a soul little boy, who is being hunted by the Hollow. The Hollow previously attacked the owners of the cage and now attacks Chad, who is unable to see spirits, but he successfully repels the attacks with the help of Rukia.

Episode 5: Defeat the invisible enemy!

Chad and Rukia fight the Hollow until Ichigo appears. He sends the hollow's soul to hell with the sword. The boy's soul, which lived in the body of a parrot, is free and can go to the Soul Society.

Episode 6: Battle! Ichigo vs Ichigo

To fight the Hollows, Ichigo has to leave his own body every time. He cannot do this without the help of Rukia, then she decides to buy candy for the Shinigami (analogous to Pez) so that Ichigo can easily change shape: you need to swallow the candy and the body abandoned by the human soul is filled with an artificial soul. The body can move, talk, go to school and, in general, behaves completely naturally, essentially being a full-fledged person. Rukia visits a Shinigami supply store owned by the eccentric Kisuke Urahara, but due to an error, instead of the candies she needed, she was sold an experimental substitute soul created in the Soul Society to fight Hollows. The substitution is not intended for utilitarian functions; it takes away Ichigo's body and significantly damages his reputation among his classmates.

Episode 7: Hello from a soft toy

Ichigo fights the Soul Substitute. He learns that substitutions were created in the Soul Society in huge numbers, and then, when the experiment was considered unsuccessful, almost all of them were destroyed. Ichigo encountered the only surviving soul. In the middle of the battle, Kisuke Urahara appears to return the “defective goods”. However, Ichigo himself takes the soul, places it inside a stuffed lion and names it Kon. Meanwhile, a Shinigami is sent from Soul Society to bring Rukia home.

Every year on June 17th, the Kurosaki family visits the grave of the deceased Masaki Kurosaki, Ichigo's mother. A Shinigami descends from Soul Society, sent for Rukia - she violated the law of Soul Society by giving powers to a person. Rukia cannot return because she has lost her spiritual energy.

Episode 9: The Invincible Enemy

Ichigo fights Grand Fisher and learns that it was this Hollow who killed Masaki. Ichigo manages to defeat Fisher, but not kill him. The arriving Shinigami watches the fight and does not risk engaging in battle with such an opponent as Ichigo, so he goes back to Soul Society.

Episode 10: The Invasion of the Sacred Grounds Begins

Popular medium Don Kanonji turns a spirit into a Hollow during a demonstrative exorcism. Ichigo defeats the enraged Hollow and explains to the unfortunate medium that he has been turning ghosts into Hollows all this time. Don Kanonji proudly announces Ichigo as his new and best student.

Episode 11: The Legendary Quincy

During the next battle with the Hollow, Ichigo meets Uryu Ishida, who belongs to the Quincy clan, which is hostile to the Shinigami. Isis suggests organizing a competition of strength and endurance: the one who kills the most Hollows in a certain time wins.

Episode 12: The Noble Right Hand

The confrontation between Ishida and Ichigo has attracted hundreds of Hollows to the city, attracted by spiritual energy. Ichigo's classmates are in danger. Chad rescues Karin Kurosaki, and during the battle he eventually begins to fully see the Hollow and gains a new ability: an armored right arm that shoots beams of spiritual energy.

Episode 13: The Flower and the Hollow

The situation becomes more and more dangerous as more and more Hollows infiltrate the earthly world and attack the school where Orihime Inoue is located. Saving her friend Arisawa Tatsuki, Orihime awakens her own powers and summons the spirits of Shun Shun Rikka from the hairpins.

Episode 14: Continuous mortal combat!

Countless Hollows force Ichigo and Ishida to give up the competition and join forces. The skies are torn open and a huge Menos Grande appears. Ichigo severely wounds him and forces him to retreat, however, he loses control of his spiritual energy. Ishida comes to the rescue and helps release the excess energy with a bow (he steps on Ichigo's sword, draws his energy and starts shooting into the air).

Episode 15: Kon's Great Plan

Kon feels unappreciated, so he runs away from Ichigo in search of a better owner. It is impossible to find a better owner - on the contrary, he suffers only torment. Ichigo wants to befriend Ishida, but is unsuccessful. Rukia notices that she has become very attached to people and experiences internal discomfort. She understands that they will soon send for her from Soul Society, and is afraid that Ichigo may be in danger. Therefore, Rukia runs away, deciding to cope with her pursuers alone.

Episode 16: Meet: Abarai Renji!

Shinigami were sent for Rukia: Captain Byakuya Kuchiki (Rukia's half-brother and the head of the Kuchiki clan, who accepted Rukia into the clan) and Lieutenant Renji Abarai. Ichigo fights Renji. He is not only more experienced, but also knows the name of his sword, so he has a great advantage in battle. Ichigo hears for the first time that Shinigami swords have names and that knowing the name greatly strengthens him in battle, allowing him to awaken the sword.

In the Bleach anime, fillers can start right in the middle of the main plot and show a completely different story with different characters. Some people don’t want to watch them, while others want to watch them only after the main story. That is why it is worth knowing the main arcs and fillers, the list of episodes that they include.

First major arch

In the Bleach anime, fillers for an entire additional arc begin only after episode 64 and last until episode 109. At this moment, the authors introduce viewers to the story of the Dependents - souls who live by absorbing spiritual particles. A powerful representative of this community, Jin Kariya, decided to destroy the Community of Souls, and in this he must be prevented by the captains of the Gotei 13 and the main character Ichigo with his friends. This arc takes place in real world, as well as in the spiritual, when the antagonist and his comrades decide to attack him. The arc is filled with various battles and tells the story of the origin of the Addicted and where their thirst for absorbing particles comes from. After this arc, there are still fillers in Bleach from the 128th to the 137th episode. The plots are different and almost unrelated to each other.

Second major arch

The list of fillers in Bleach continues from the 168th episode and lasts until the 189th. These twenty episodes tell us that instead of the old captains who betrayed the Soul Society, they accepted a new one named Shusuke Amagai. This character looks incredibly kind, wanting to make friends with everyone and help in every possible way. this world. At the same moment, an unknown Zanpakuto killer appears. Strange things begin to happen in the Gotei 13, and the main character Ichigo gets involved. He begins to suspect the new captain and his lieutenant that they are hiding something.
He and his friends will have to get to the bottom of the truth in order to save people’s souls from new evil. In these episodes, viewers can expect investigations, many funny moments, fights, and the story of Captain Shusuke Amagai. After this arc, episodes No. 204, 205, 213, 214 are still considered fillers. They show comedic scenes with a football tournament of Hollows, defenders of the hometown of the protagonist Karakura, and similar offshoots.

Video on the topic

Two more large arches

In Bleach, the fillers continue again with an arc about the rebellion of the Zanpakuto swords of all shinigami. It all started with the fact that weapons began to be embodied in different images and rebel against their masters. The Zapakto accused captains, officers and lieutenants of never listening to the wishes of their swords, which truly embody their power. According to the plot, viewers will find out what the reason for the sudden uprising is and where it comes from.
In the same series, new heroes will appear, and you can hear the story of a shinigami who possessed a sword with the name Muramasa. The following episodes from episodes 256 to 265 can be considered a continuation of this arc. They talk about how sword beasts behave, their desires and the tragedy of existence. In many shinigami, Zanpakutō have precisely this nature. The authors tell interesting story with a dash of comedy. Episodes without fillers in Bleach tell only the main plot about the confrontation between the Hollows, the Gotei 13 warriors and Ichigo with friends.

Bleach

We invite you for free watch online anime Bleach(Bleach), which was based on the manga of the same name, whose creation we owe to mangaka Taito Kubo. The Bleach manga, published since August 2001 in a Japanese magazine, has 50 volumes as of 2011, and this number continues to grow. Just like manga anime Bleach not yet completed. Moreover, they were removed two OVAs and four films. They were followed by video games Bleach, collectibles card games and the musical Bleach. And soon we can expect a film adaptation of the manga as the first film with live actors. Warner Bros. acquired the rights for this and, as it became known according to preliminary data, Peter Segal will be entrusted with directing the film.

Bleach Plot

If you start watching all the episodes of the anime Bleach online right now, then from the first episode you will see that the action takes place today in Japan.

One fine day, out of nowhere, in the bedroom of a young Japanese guy Ichigo Kurosaki the girl Rukia Kuchiki appears, who is a guide of souls, i.e. Shinigami. Ichigo with early childhood has the ability to see the souls of the dead and ghosts. Rukia is surprised that Ichigo can see her, but she is even more amazed that he can touch her. That's how they get to know each other. But their conversation is interrupted by the appearance of an aggressive evil spirit (hollow).

Rukia enters into battle with him, but is seriously wounded and becomes unable to continue the fight. She decides to give part of her spiritual power to Ichigo so that he can fight back the “hollow”. But then the unexpected happens: Ichigo absorbs not part, but all of Rukia’s spiritual energy and becomes a Shinigami. Rukia, on the contrary, becomes practically defenseless. Having lost all her Shinigami powers, she can no longer fight evil spirits and send the souls of the dead to Soul Society . She asks Ichigo to become her deputy for a while.

But the temporary replacement drags on for several months, during which Ichigo and Rukia fight together against the “hollows.” But in the world where Rukia came from, the transfer of Shinigami powers to a person is a crime severely punished by the law of Soul Society. Shinigami are sent for Rukia, who take her home. She ends up under arrest and is sentenced to death penalty. Ichigo goes after Rukia to save her. But he does not go there alone, with him are his classmates and friends: Chad, Orihime and Ishida, who turned out to be the last of their Quincy clan from time immemorial at war with the Shinigami. Prepares them for departure to Soul Society Kisuke Urahara - Owner of a Shinigami store.

In Soul Society, on the way to save Rukia, Ichigo and his company encounter many battles, but they still manage to rescue Rukia from captivity and thereby save her from death. They learn that her execution and everything else was part of a conspiracy against Soul Society. This plot was planned by Captain Sosuke Aizen, who built big plan to capture and destroy the government of Soul Society.

Hidden in Rukia is the Hogyoku (Urahara's invention), which gives its wielder great power. Aizen manages to obtain the Hogyoku. He betrays all his comrades and joins forces with the “hollows”. Aizen creates an army of evil spirits and becomes the main negative hero anime series Bleach.

Aizee is stirring up a war with the Soul Society, and his next target for destruction is... hometown Ichigo. A huge number of "hollows" attack the city. But Kisuke Urahara, the warriors of the Soul Society and Ichigo confront them and kill most of the evil spirits. Aizen weakens and they take him prisoner. For his treason, Aizen was sentenced by Soul Society to imprisonment for 20 thousand years.

Ichigo in his last fight loses his Shinigami abilities, he cannot even see spirits and lives like this for a whole year and a half. Then fate brings him together with a mysterious organization "X-cut" . This organization offers to help him regain his Shinigami abilities. At the same time, Ichigo's friends are constantly being attacked, and in order to protect them, he agrees to a deal with X-cution. After just a few training sessions, Ichigo begins to master a new ability - “absolute submission”, the ability of which is mastered by his friends Chas and Inoue.

As the author Taito Kubo assured, the ending of the manga has yet to be invented. Therefore, we will not see the final episodes of Bleach yet. And you can safely enjoy the anime Bleach and watch all the episodes online, where in each episode we will get to know new heroes and negative characters.

Bleach Characters

Taito Kubo for the manga "Bleach" he invented and created many characters who play key and minor roles. These characters are divided into different races and belong to different clans or factions, which use their own jargon. By the way, the entire vocabulary was also invented by Taito Kubo himself.

In the anime Bleach, the souls of the dead consist of ectoplasm, which are called spiritual energy particles. After death, people's souls are sent to Soul Society, where they continue their lives. And some continue to take an active part in the development Bleach plot. For example: they become guides of souls and Shinigami warriors, they help souls get into the Soul Society and fight “hollows”, protecting the world of people.

The main characters in the anime series Bleach have special abilities that are explained by strong spiritual energy - reitsu. The world of Bleach reveals to us the three largest races: humans, Shinigami and Hollows.

When you start watching the anime Bleach online, you can immediately guess who the central character of this series is. Fifteen-year-old teenager and schoolboy Ichigo Kurosaki , who has the ability to see spirits and ghosts. He suddenly gets half supernatural powers from the shinigami girl Rukia. After this, his already abnormal life (meaning the ability to see and communicate with spirits) turns into constant battles against the “hollows”.

Along with Ichigo, key roles are occupied by Rukia Kuchiki , Yasutoro Sado (Chad) , Orihime Inoue And Uryu Ishida . They appear in the picture gradually, one after another. First, Ichigo meets Rukia Kuchiki, who protects his entire family from attacks by evil spirits. Once again fighting for the safety and peace of the Kurosaki family, Rukia is seriously injured and transfers her powers to Ichigo. This is how he becomes a Shinigami. As the story progresses, his friends Chad and Orihime also show paranormal abilities: they begin to see spirits and fight with them.

Bleach World of people

In the anime, people live in modern Japan. But the city Karakura , located in Western Tokyo, is fictional. People cannot see or feel spirits and ghosts. Only one person in fifty thousand people is able to feel the “empties” or guess their existence. And only a third have the ability to see spirits. Since the vast majority human race unable to see “hollows” and unable to protect himself, soul guides (shinigami) regularly come to the human world. They fight the Hollows, sending them to Soul Society.

Bleach Ichigo Kurosaki's family

Ichigo lives in Karakura Town in a western city with his family. The head of the family is his father - Isshin Kurosaki . Ichigo is the oldest child in the family, he has two younger sisters Karin And Yuzu . Ichigo’s mother died from an attack by a “hollow” nicknamed Grand Fisher, when the children were still very young. When evil spirit came to them to attack Ichigo, his mother Masashi rushed to his defense and died. Ichigo and his father feel guilty for her death.

Bleach Quincy Clan

In the anime Bleach there is Quincy clan . The people of the Quincy clan are people who have received spiritual power. Just like the guides of Shinigami souls, they fight Hollows. Unlike Shinigami, who rely only on their sword, Quincy uses arrows and a bow, which appears thanks to the Quincy Cross.

Their appearance is also not without reason: the people belonging to Quincy are a group of those who managed to survive the attack of evil spirits and whose relatives died from the Hollows. But gradually they managed to develop some supernatural abilities that help them fight the Hollows.

For two hundred years, the Quincy clan and the Shinigami waged a feud, in which the Quincy clan was completely destroyed. And only two were able to survive this war: Ryuuken Ishida and his son Uryu Ishida .

Bleach Shinigami

Clan Shinigami (gods of death) lives in a special world, which is called the Society of Souls (Community of Souls). Each Shinigami serves in one of the thirteen fighting squads of the Gotei. Shinigami appear in the human world to conduct the soul of a deceased person into the Soul Society or to send to hell the soul of a person who committed during life terrible sin. They also destroy the “hollows” by cutting them with their swords.

Shinigami are carriers of supernatural spiritual energy, which they can control. An assistant in regulating their spiritual energy is the sword - zanpakutō. Zanpakuto every Shinigami has given name, having learned which Shinigami becomes stronger. The empty shinigami cut by the sword is freed from the burden of sins committed after death and the purified soul flies off to Soul Society.

Bleach Shinigami World

Shinigami live in a world called Soul Society. The Society of Souls is a place where souls who have not committed serious sins go after death. This place can be considered an analogue of the familiar Paradise, which also has a head - the king, but what he does remains a mystery.

The center of this Paradise is the city Seireitei . It is in this city that Shinigami live. The neighborhoods surrounding the city are called Rukongai . These surroundings are divided into eighty districts, which are very different from peaceful life the central city of Soul Society. The area close to Seireiteiyu is more prosperous than distant areas. Shinigami do not patrol these areas and generally have little interest in the lives of those who live there. Crime and poverty are rampant in those areas, and people struggle every day.

In Soul Society, residents, just like people, can create families in which children are born. But the inhabitants of Soul Society are not immortal, even though they live in “ the afterlife" However, their lifespan is simply immeasurable compared to the lifespan of people on Earth. Shinigami during battles receive serious injuries and wounds, which can lead to death for the conductor of souls. Most often, Shinigami, having received even mortal wounds, recover and can again confront their enemies. A common person With such wounds he would not have lived even a few minutes. The soul of a deceased Shinigami forgets everything and returns to Earth, reborn into a new personality.
