Yaroslava and her mother were seriously injured in the disaster. Yasha underwent several operations, fragments were removed from her eye, and eyelid surgery was performed. At first she could not walk and moved on crutches. Thanks to the efforts of doctors, today Yaroslava has 100% vision, but there are still scars on her left cheek.

As it turned out, Yaroslava is still recovering from terrible accident which happened two years ago. Then the baby almost died. The child continues to visit doctors. Yaroslava's mother Olesya sincerely hopes that this intervention of medical specialists was the last.
“Yasya is recovering, she needs to take care of her head. The doctors installed a plate, resolved the issue with the non-healing suture after the accident, we are under observation, the issues of eliminating all the consequences, including external ones, have not yet been resolved. The last operation took place in the summer, just before Yasin’s birthday. Unfortunately, we met him in the hospital...Yasya is in an optimistic mood! Of course, he hopes to never go to the hospital again!.. Now we are seeing a doctor and recovering,” said Olesya Degtyareva "StarHit".
The young star’s mother also talked about how their family’s life was changed by participation in the TV show “The Voice.” Children”, in which the girl managed to reach the very final. “I see how much more joyful and happy Yaroslava has become from all the events that are happening, and this is the most important thing for me! To put it mildly, we were not ready for popularity; we did not even expect that everything would turn out this way. At that time (during the filming of the program - Approx.) I didn’t think about reverse side publicity - you are always in sight, at first it was an overcoming for me,” Olesya shared.
Yaroslava herself admits that she was not worried while participating in the project. The girl received many vivid emotions, and she especially remembered the duet with Nargiz in another Channel One program called “Best of All.” Yaroslava began to be recognized everywhere, began to be invited to filming, and the artist also gained her first fans. According to the young star, she continues to support a good relationship with her mentor, who, by the way, is one of her favorite performers, along with Polina Gagarina, Alla Pugacheva, Grigory Leps and Sia.
“We are friends with Dima Bilan, he is very kind and cheerful! He invites you to concerts, invited you to the premiere of the cartoon,” Yaroslava told StarHit.
IN free time Yaroslava, in addition to reading her favorite books, is interested in shooting videos and is thinking about developing own channel on YouTube. So far, there are mainly her performances there, but Yaroslava believes that everything is ahead. As soon as the young performer has more free time, she will begin filming her videos. She also admitted that she simply loves to sing. “It’s always interesting, like a holiday! And it’s a lot of fun when, for example, you go to performances with friends,” comments the aspiring artist.
As Pelageya later admits, little Yaroslava’s singing “even gave her goosebumps.” Now the “queen of goosebumps” is in great demand in the capital: recordings in the highest-rated television programs, participation in prestigious concerts, work as a presenter at the Kid's FM radio station. And yet Yaroslava and her mother Olesya found time to talk with the readers of AiF on Don.

The video of seven-year-old Yasi (as her loved ones affectionately call her) instantly broke all records on the Internet. The whole country recognized the little singer from Gukovo... Behind the scenes of spotlights and stunning success, the past remains: the squeal of brakes, a hospital bed and a surgeon’s scalpel...
House of Pain
In October 2013, five-year-old Yasya and her parents were involved in a terrible accident on a highway near the village of Rodionovka. The girl's father lost control and the car fell into a five-meter ditch. The person responsible for the accident immediately lost consciousness. And Yasi’s mother, as soon as she got out of the smoking car, rushed to save her daughter. There was no living space on the baby. Glass fragments got into the eyes, cut up the face, and severely damaged the head and legs. At the cost of superhuman efforts, forgetting about her own pain, Olesya pulled her daughter out of the ditch and rushed to stop the ride. The minutes seemed like an eternity. The child's life hung in the balance. But the drivers rushing along the highway were in no hurry to slow down. Then, in desperation, risking getting run over, Olesya rushed across the car...
Doctors at the Rodionovskaya Hospital diagnosed the child with traumatic brain injuries, severe damage to the eyes and eyelids, and open fractures of the legs. Treatment required high-tech medical equipment, and Yasya was urgently transported to Rostov, to the regional children's hospital. Olesya, without hesitation, followed her daughter. My own injuries and loss of vision faded into the background. The main thing for the mother was to save her daughter.

Tiny Yasya was assembled literally piece by piece. The first operation lasted seven hours. Doctors re-sculpted the girl’s eyes, face, and head. Metal knitting needles were inserted into thin children's legs.
“Take me away from this house of pain,” Yasya asked her mother, shedding tears.
The first operation was followed by a second, and then a third. For many months the girl found herself bedridden.
About those terrible days mother and daughter try not to remember. The two of them fought against the misfortune that had befallen them. The culprit of the accident - the father - seemed to have forgotten about their existence and never showed up at the hospital. As often happens in life, strangers came to the rescue - employees and parents kindergarten, which Yasya visited before the accident.
Voice
The child’s vocal gift was noticed at the hospital. As soon as the pain subsided, the girl began to sing for the doctors, little patients, and their parents. It was then that the idea arose to try my hand at “The Voice”. Within the walls of the hospital room, the dream seemed distant and illusory. But Olesya firmly believed that black line cannot be eternal and Yaroslava will definitely be happy.
After being discharged from the hospital, Yasya and her mother returned to Gukovo - to their beloved grandmother and cat Max. For a long time Granny didn’t know about the accident: her daughter didn’t want to injure her. And little Yaroslava was waiting for the scars to disappear from her face. The girl wanted to return home healthy and beautiful.
Everything that happened next looked like a fairy tale. The path to success was rapid. By serendipity at the school where Yasya entered, there was a vocal club. The girl was immediately noticed and invited to the studio as a soloist. Then there were victories in the regional and all-Russian vocal competitions. Inspired by her daughter’s success, her mother sent a recording of her songs to the “Voice” show.
“I learned that Yasya was being invited to live auditions in Moscow on my birthday. So there was a double holiday in the family,” Yaroslava’s mother recalls today.
At the blind auditions, one of the youngest participants in the competition had to perform first. Yaroslava was terribly worried and mixed up the key in the first verse. But the jury liked the little incident. The song “Cuckoo” by Viktor Tsoi, performed by her, captivated both the audience and the jury members. By the way, the young contestant heard the song itself for the first time on the eve of the performance. There was practically no time left to learn the composition, but Yaroslava firmly stated that she would sing it.
Singer and designer
After the first performance Symphony Orchestra mentor Dima Bilan praised the ward:
Now you can handle everything.
Not for all teeth. “One fell out yesterday,” the little girl corrected him.
The fact that the competition podium turned out to be second, and not first, upsets Yaroslav, but not too much:
“Danil Pluzhnikov needed the victory more than I did. He needs treatment,” Yasya reasoned.
The girl tries not to think about the fact that she herself will have to undergo several complex operations. After all, today is like a fairy tale - all dreams come true. Yaroslava participates in various shows, skillfully copes with the role of presenter on children's radio and even tries his hand at design art. Fame turned out to be an extremely troublesome thing: a star’s capital day is scheduled minute by minute - filming, concerts...
And recently, a certain admirer of the talent gave Yaroslav a live horse. Now the Degtyarevs are racking their brains about where to place the animal.
Yaroslav is in no hurry to talk about plans for the future. She likes music, design, animals.

She chose a composition that was so complex for her age. Not every adult decides to take a swing at Viktor Tsoi’s Cuckoo. And she not only decided, but also performed it wonderfully. True, there was a slight blemish at the very beginning, but the girl quickly recovered and straightened out. If you also consider that she had very little time to prepare. After all, she heard this song quite recently and decided to perform it. And she performed with sincerity and childlike spontaneity.
Although Bilan and Pelageya turned to the girl, she chose Dima Bilan as her mentor.
But Pelageya received a compliment from her.
Off stage, the girl is a very open and cheerful child.
Her long-time dream of riding a horse came true thanks to her participation in the Voice project. The girl was lucky enough to have a full training session at the equestrian arena, and she was convinced that equestrian sport is quite a difficult activity. No easier than professional vocals.
Although the girl does not particularly strive to grow up, she wants to become a singer in the future. And her other great desire is to buy herself a horse, but that is in the future.
