What is most important is that Alize did not isolate herself within France, her single quickly gained popularity at the box office of radio stations in various countries - Japan, Canada, Germany, Russia... On November 17, 2000, Alize received her first professional music award - an award in the "Discovery" category of the Year" for the prizes of the French TV channel M6. And according to the results of 2000 - on January 20, 2001, she was awarded the popular music award of the French radio station NRJ in the same category "Discovery of the Year". Alize became famous overnight.
Meanwhile, active work in the studio ended with the release of the debut album “Gourmandises”, which was released on November 28, 2000. At the same time, on November 28, 2000, the second single “Passat” (L"Alize) was released to support the album.
