North-Western Expressway detailed diagram on the map. South-East Expressway Construction Project

I recently published a report on construction. Finally got around to looking at what was happening in my native area. Today is a detailed story about the construction of the North-East Expressway (NSH) - a new highway that will connect three districts of the capital: north, east and south-east.

This is what the place looked like in 2016. Due to the construction of a tunnel under the Shchelkovskoye Highway, a large traffic jam formed for several kilometers in the morning.

Construction for a while, tunnel forever. The work is completed, there is no more traffic jam in this place. Now everyone is standing at the intersection with Khalturinskaya Street.

Exit from the temporary storage warehouse onto Shchelkovskoye Highway towards the Moscow Ring Road.

From top to bottom in the photo there is Shchelkovskoye Highway, from left to right - temporary storage warehouse. To the left is the Partizanskaya metro station, to the right is Cherkizovskaya.

2016 Narrowing due to the construction of overpasses and a tunnel.

2018 From Shchelkovskoe Highway, exits to the temporary storage warehouse are open in both directions, to the south and to the north.

View towards Podbelka. On the left in the photo is the Lokomotiv MCC station.

Then the chord collapses into a compact version. Most likely, due to the difficulty of clearing land for construction, as well as due to the passage of the Losiny Ostrov park. If you look closely at the photograph, you can clearly see the temporary organization of movement, which is transferred to one side.

This is the same place on the other side.

The compact version of the route looks like this: traffic from the north will be organized along an overpass, which has not yet been opened, and traffic from the south will pass under the overpass. Thus, the route will take up almost half the area.

For now, traffic is open up to the Mytishchi overpass (up to the Open Highway). Next comes construction. Here you can clearly see two tracks located one below the other.

Open highway, view towards Metrogorodok. Eh, Metrotown, my homeland)

Construction of a highway towards the Yaroslavl highway. Everything is still in full swing here. On the right you can see the MCC station "Rokossovsky Boulevard".

Future ramifications. On the left are the industrial zones of Metrogorodok.

Closer to Losinoostrovskaya street. Construction of communications is currently underway here. As far as I know, the section up to the Yaroslavskoe Highway is still being designed and approved for the design of the chord.

Let's look at the chord from the other side. View towards Partizanskaya. Everything here has been open for a long time, the only thing missing is an intercepting parking lot at the MCC station.

The intersection of the chord with the Entuziastov Highway. Here, almost all overpasses are already open, except for direct travel to the south along the expressway and the exit from Entuziastov Highway.

Set it up!

View from Entuziastov Highway to the south. On the right you can see the interchange with Budyonny Avenue.

At this point in all diagrams a “knot” is tied on the chord. The main route will go further south parallel to the MCC, and the chord itself will sharply go southeast to Vykhino.

At first glance, it’s impossible to figure it out without a hundred grams. But it's simple. On the left comes the chord from Vykhino.

If you follow it straight, you will end up on Budyonny Avenue (it goes to the right in the frame), if you turn right, you will end up on the continuation of the chord that goes north (at the bottom of the frame).

On top is the Andronovka MCC station and the groundwork for the future construction of the highway at the top of the frame.

A unique time while the road is not yet open. You can freely walk along the highway.

It is planned to open traffic on two sections of the North-East Expressway by early autumn. Over the next month, the initial section from the Businovskaya interchange to the Dmitrovskoye Shosse will be completed, and by the beginning of autumn it is planned to launch traffic along the final section of the route - from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road.

Read about the stage of readiness of sections of the North-Eastern Expressway and when they are expected to open in the material of the Moscow 24 portal.

From Businovskaya interchange to Dmitrovskoye highway

Now the road between Dmitrovskoe Highway, Festivalnaya Street and Businovskaya Interchange is almost ready, builders are finishing the construction of a two-hundred-meter section in the area of the Khovrinskaya pumping station.

“The Khovrinskaya pumping station, which supplied more than three and a half thousand consumers, fell into the construction zone. We built a new station, but we were able to disconnect all systems from the previous one only on May 15 of this year, and we quickly began to build a two-hundred-meter section. We expect that we will finish in September. We will strive to open traffic for City Day,” First Deputy Head of the Construction Department Pyotr Aksenov told the Moscow 24 portal.

What is ready on the section from Dmitrovskoye Highway to Festivalnaya Street?

More than 11 kilometers of four-lane main road, seven overpasses, two of which are one and a half kilometers long, and ramps ranging from 300 to 500 meters in length were built on the site. A new overpass across the Oktyabrskaya Railway and a bridge over the Likhoborka River were built.

“At the same time, the construction of the overpass across the railway proceeded without stopping the movement of trains,” noted the first deputy head of the Department of Construction.

We also took care of protection from highway noise. “We have replaced six thousand window blocks, and we will also build about two kilometers of noise barriers,” Aksenov promised. According to him, trees will be planted along the road.

In October, a reversal overpass will be built on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street, connecting the North-East Expressway with the North-West. “The overpass on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street is the first part of the connection of the two expressways. It makes it possible to turn around on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street and enter the North-Eastern Expressway without entering Dmitrovskoe Highway,” Aksenov noted.

From the Entuziastov highway to the interchange with the Moscow Ring Road "Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy"

In September, it is planned to open traffic on another section of the North-Eastern Expressway: from Entuziastov Highway to the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy interchange on the Moscow Ring Road. Here the stumbling block was the old traction substation of the Gorky direction of the Moscow Railway. According to Pyotr Aksenov, the capital’s government has agreed with the Moscow Railway on the demolition of the substation and the construction of a new one.

“We turned off the traction substation and switched it to a new one, after which we began to complete the road. Full traffic from the Entuziastov highway to the interchange with the MKAD “Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy” will open in early autumn,” he promised.

From Otkrytoye to Shchelkovskoe highway

By the end of the year, the capital’s authorities plan to open traffic from Otkrytoye to Shchelkovskoye highway. Overpasses of the main passage and side passages were built here. And also a tunnel under the Shchelkovskoye Highway, which is going to open in the coming months. According to Pyotr Aksenov, the construction of roads more than eight kilometers long with the relocation of utilities is in full swing.

“On the section of the first section, traffic is planned to be opened within the next month. The main work of the first stage of construction has been completed. It includes the laying of about 5.5 kilometers of roads, including the construction of three overpasses about 3.4 kilometers long,” said a government official.

He also noted that thanks to the commissioning of a new section, traffic flows between Shchelkovskoye and Otkrytoye highways will be redistributed. This will reduce the traffic load on Bolshaya Cherkizovskaya, Stromynka, Krasnobogatyrskaya streets and Rusakovskaya embankment. In addition, transport accessibility of the Golyanovo and Metrogorodok districts will increase.

From Dmitrovskoe highway to Yaroslavskoe highway

Next year, construction of the section of the North-Eastern Expressway from Dmitrovskoye to Yaroslavskoye Highway may begin.

“The planning project has passed public hearings, has finally received approval from the Moscow government, design is now underway. The site is very complex, there is a cluster of large industrial enterprises and a huge number of utility networks. We are doing everything possible so that construction begins next year,” said the first deputy head Depstroya.

He emphasized that the design of the site and the release of the territory will be carried out at the expense of budget money. “We are already starting to work: demolishing garages and interacting with industrial enterprises that fall into the construction zone,” Aksenov noted.

At the same time, there is a proposal from investors to build a road from Dmitrovskoye to Yaroslavskoye highway on a concession basis, but a final decision on this issue has not yet been made, he explained.

From Otkrytoye to Yaroslavskoe highway

The only section of the North-Eastern Expressway where no work is currently underway is from Otkrytoye to Yaroslavskoe Highway.

“The problem is that, presumably, the road should pass through the Losiny Ostrov national park, while there is no final decision on the routing of the section. The Moskomarkhitektura is working on the study, when the department completes the work, then we will start talking about the construction of the section,” summed up Pyotr Aksenov .

North-Eastern Expressway detailed diagram 2019 - the latest changes in the construction of the highway interchange in Perovo and Vykhino will invariably affect Veshnyaki and may threaten the existence of pedestrian and bicycle paths in the Botanical Garden transport hub. The latest news about the construction of the highway is no longer full of headlines about protests and arrests - people have come to terms with deforestation in Kuskovo, the closure of the park and the threat of losing a number of cultural objects. At the same time, the new project will get rid of traffic jams and connect Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye Altufevskoye and Dmitrovskoye highways, greatly improving the city’s logistics. The main confrontation occurs between city residents-pedestrians, as well as drivers-entrepreneurs. Considering the large amount of budget funds and the significant economic benefits that Moscow will receive after the commissioning of the north-eastern expressway, people who protect the environment and green spaces have practically no chance to influence the situation.

Thus, residents of Anosova and Plyushcheva streets, who complained about the cutting down of trees and dirty playgrounds, received advice from officials to leave Moscow completely if fresh air is so important to them. Indeed, many people want to live in these areas of the capital, even if they are offered to breathe exclusively exhaust gases instead of air. This is the fate of most megacities not only in Russia, but also abroad. Concrete jungles are replacing green spaces - this trend can only be influenced by limiting access to road transport to the capital. But this would mean losses and supply problems, which the authorities do not want.

The detailed diagram of the North-East Expressway 2019 shows that the road is really necessary given the existing transport situation. However, it is quite understandable for people, given that they were not even held public hearings on a number of issues. The changes made to the project are very minor, so there is no talk of reaching a compromise. Currently, activists continue to be on duty at the Kuskovo estate, everyone is waiting for the start of cutting down trees in the protected area. It is noteworthy that a very sad fate awaits the residents of nearby houses, because heavy vehicles will begin to pass through their area, the emissions of which are difficult to even imagine. Whether it will be possible to save Kuskovo Park is a big question, but there is no united front of activists on this issue, despite the petition and a large number of appeals. Even two police squads can disperse a small group.

After the detailed scheme of the North-East Expressway 2019 was published and protests began, work on controversial areas was suspended, but this hardly means a abandonment of construction. Rather, this is an attempt to lull the vigilance of the most active citizens and carry out a quick cutting down, after which it will no longer be possible to prove anything, and the protests will lose their meaning.

In 2019, Muscovites will be able to travel along the North-Eastern Expressway. The 35-kilometer-long highway will run from the new M11 Moscow-St. Petersburg highway to the Kosinskaya overpass (the interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway).

The chord will connect major highways of the city - MKAD, Entuziastov Highway, Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Otkrytoye, Yaroslavskoye, Altufevskoye and Dmitrovskoye highways. That is, the north, east and southeast of the capital and the nearest cities of the Moscow region will be able to travel to each other without turning into the center. For example, it will be possible to get from Lyubertsy to Yaroslavskoye Highway without traffic lights in just 15 minutes.

By the end of this year, one of the most difficult sections of the highway will be launched - from Entuziastov Highway to Izmailovskoye Highway. It has been under construction since 2008. Drivers are already driving here on the section from Perovskaya Street to Izmailovskoye Highway. In addition, there are exits on the Entuziastov Highway towards the center and towards the region.

To ensure normal traffic flow, 15 overpasses with a total length of almost 10 kilometers will have to be built at the interchange of the North-Eastern Expressway with Entuziastov Highway and Budyonny Avenue, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said during a recent inspection of the construction site. - I hope that by the end of the year the main work will be completed. Construction equipment will leave Entuziastov Highway and Budyonny Avenue.

The route of the section will run along the tracks of the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) and cross the Entuziastov Highway in the area of the metro station of the same name. Now construction and reconstruction are taking place not only on the highway itself, but also on neighboring Perovskaya Street, Anosova Street, Elektrodny Proezd and local driveways. Five overpasses are already ready. By the end of this year, five more overpasses, five pedestrian crossings, and 7.3 km of tram tracks will appear.

After the launch of this section, Izmailovskoye and Shchelkovskoye highways, Entuziastov highway and Budyonny Avenue will be unloaded. At the same time, transit traffic will open from Perovskaya Street to the North-Eastern Expressway and further to the Sokolinaya Gora, Preobrazhenskoye, Vostochnoye and Northern Izmailovo districts. As a result, it will become easier to drive on the Enthusiast Highway.

The North-Eastern Expressway was divided into seven sections (see diagram). Two of them are already ready - from the Businovskaya transport interchange to Festivalnaya Street, from Izmailovskoye to Shchelkovskoye Highway (except for the tunnel under Shchelkovskoye Highway). Three more sections are currently under construction - from the Moscow Ring Road to Entuziastov Highway, from Entuziastov Highway to Izmailovskoye Highway, from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Shosse.

At the end of 2018, they plan to open a 5-kilometer section from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Highway. Four overpasses, five kilometers of ramps from them, an overpass over the railway and a bridge over the Likhoborka River will be built here. The road will have 3 - 4 lanes for traffic in each direction. As a result, it will become more convenient for residents of the northern districts of Moscow - Golovinsky, Koptevsky and Timiryazevsky.

In the future, in the north of the capital, the North-Eastern Expressway will be connected to the North-Western Expressway (will run from Skolkovskoe to Yaroslavskoe highway). For this purpose, a turning overpass will be built on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street, ramps and side passages along the Oktyabrskaya Railway. The main major roads for connecting different districts of the city are going to be completed in the next year or two.

In 2018, we will complete the North-Western Expressway, which will actually cross the entire city from north to west,” said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Marat Khusnullin. - By the beginning of 2019, in addition to one or two sections, we will build the North-Eastern Expressway. At the same time, we will complete the construction of the Southern Road. This is an extension of Rublevskoye Highway, a connection with Proletarsky Prospekt and then access to the Moscow Ring Road. These three key roads should replace the fourth transport ring.

SPECIFICALLY

The North-Eastern Expressway will stretch from the Businovskaya interchange to Festivalnaya Street, Dmitrovskoye and Yaroslavskoye Highways. Then it will cross Otkrytoye, Shchelkovskoye, Izmailovskoye highways and enter the section of the fourth transport ring under construction from Izmailovskoye highway to Entuziastov highway.

From the Entuziastov Highway the chord will go to the MKAD interchange with the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway, then to the borders with the region to connect with the Moscow-Noginsk-Kazan federal highway.

For more than a year I have been planning to do a report on the construction of the North-Eastern Expressway in the area of Shchelkovskoye Highway and Entuziastov Highway. Once again standing in a traffic jam, I looked at the towering overpasses and promised myself to coordinate access to the construction sites. In the end, it never got together, didn’t agree on it, and didn’t take it off. But the other day I looked at the endless Moscow interchanges from above. It turned out even more clearly.

1. Let's start with the eternal construction in the area of Entuziastov Highway. The North-Eastern Expressway (NSH) runs here, which will connect the most densely populated areas of Moscow - the south-east and north. The route crosses Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye, Otkrytoe highway and Entuziastov highway.

2. Probably every Moscow motorist has been stuck in a big traffic jam on Entuziastov Highway at least once.

In the morning to the center to Burakova Street, in the evening to the region from the Third Transport Ring itself.

3. During the entire construction period on this site, they managed to dismantle the old overpass of the railway ring road, build 4 new overpasses for the MCC and 7 overpasses of the temporary storage warehouse.

4. Some of them are already open - these are the exits from the temporary storage warehouse on Entuziastov Highway to the center and region, the exit from Perovskaya Street and the exits from Entuziastov Highway to the temporary storage warehouse. Anyone who has traveled knows.

5. Temporary storage warehouse, view north towards Izmailovo.

6. View to the south.

8. Nearby, 200 meters away, two more overpasses were built, leading to Budenogo Avenue.

11. It can be seen that the overpasses are already ready, but not all the buildings along the path of the new road have been demolished.

12. A large interchange is being built near the Andronovka MCC station. To the left in the frame the road goes towards Izmailovo, down to Budenogo Avenue. To the left up into the bright sun - to Kosinskaya, Anosova streets, Pervaya Mayevka, Plyushchev and Masterova alleys.

13. View from Annosova Street. On the right in the frame there is a road with cars - an active exit to the temporary storage warehouse from Perovskaya Street.

14. In the section from the platform of the Plyushchevo station, the projected highway will rise onto an overpass and pass over the tracks of the Gorky direction of the railway, as well as over Anosova Street. Anosova Street itself will be expanded to 2 lanes in each direction, with the possibility of exits and entrances to the main road overpass.

15. Industrial zone and intersection of the Gorky and Kazan directions of the railway. If you look closely, you can see two passenger platforms - Chukhlinka and Perovo. The construction site for the new overpass is visible in the foreground.

16. At this point, the overpass will connect several areas cut by railway tracks. It will be possible to get from Pervaya Mayevka Alley to Annosova Street in 30 seconds, instead of the usual 15 minutes by detour.

17. Part of the Kuskovsky forest park and a view towards Plyushchevo and Veshnyaki stations. At this point, the new overpass should go right along the border of the park, which causes a lot of controversy and criticism from a number of local residents and environmentalists.

18. Now let's move west and look at some more huge interchanges. This is what the large interchange under construction between Aminevskoye Highway and General Dorokhov Street, one of the sections of the South Rokada, looks like.

19. The new road will go to Mosfilmovskaya Street. As part of the interchange, a two-lane tunnel will be built for the exit from General Dorokhov Street to Aminevskoe Highway in the direction of Mozhaika. If you look closely, you can see his portal in the photo.

20. View from the Aminevskoe highway.

24. A new overpass at the intersection with Vereiskaya and Nezhinskaya streets, as well as a bridge across Setun.

25. Future tunnel at the intersection with Artamonov Street.

27. I haven’t been to Ryabinovaya Street for 5 years. I didn’t recognize it at all. This is what the turnaround overpass looks like from Vyazemskaya and Vitebskaya streets to Ryabinovaya street.

29. To the left - Projected passage 1901, which turns into Vyazemskaya, Vitebskaya and Skolkovskoe highways, to the right - Ryabinovaya street.

31. An interesting-shaped interchange with Troekurovsky Proezd. She's vertical in the title photo)

33. Vyazemskaya street, Skolkovskoye highway and Vitebskaya street. Mozhaika can be seen above.

34. Set it up, you understand!

The idea of building chord highways was born in the city more than forty years ago, but its implementation came only now, when it became finally clear that there are not enough roads between the districts, and there is nothing for transit traffic to do in the center. Specialists from Mosinzhproekt JSC, a full-cycle engineering company specializing in projects for the development of transport infrastructure and utilities, are working on a large-scale chord project.

For reference: Mosinzhproekt JSC is the single operator of the Moscow Metro development program, the general designer for the reconstruction of outbound highways and interchanges, a participant in the development program for transport hubs (TPU) in Moscow, the general contractor for the reconstruction of the Luzhniki stadium and the management company for the construction of Zaryadye Park "

P.S. It’s a pity I didn’t have time to photograph the temporary storage warehouse and Shchelkovskoye Highway. Next time now.
