Drawing with salt in kindergarten (from experience in the use of non-traditional techniques of visual activity). Drawing with salt and watercolors: description of technique, techniques and reviews

MB preschool educational institution "TsRR - kindergarten No. 99" Chita

the project "Drawing with colored salt" was prepared by Svetlana Vadimovna Krugovaya

Goal setting:

If an adult does not encourage a child’s creativity, does not believe in his fantasies, does not know the peculiarities of thinking, he prevents him from discovering the world. Visual activity, as is known, develops the child’s sensory senses of color, shape, composition, and contributes to the transfer of learned working techniques into free work. independent activity. If a child is taught to draw in class beautiful tree, he will be happy to portray him more than once in free time, but, as often happens, the trees will always be the same. Therefore, it is important not only to equip children with knowledge, skills, abilities, but also to reveal them to the maximum creative potential, teach to see the magical in the most unusual. Introducing children to in unusual ways The images will allow you to expand your child’s horizons, his imagination and creativity.

Development of children's creative potential through non-traditional salt painting methods.

· Introduction of atr-therapeutic technologies in working with children preschool age, through working with salt.

· Continue to use health-saving technologies when working with salt.

· Introduce children to the properties of salt as a material for artistic creativity.

· Form an idea of different ways of depicting objects and phenomena.

· Arouse interest in the image in a new way of drawing.

· Learn to color salt using colored chalk and gouache.

· Expand children's understanding of using several materials in drawing (glue, salt, paints).

· Develop creativity.

Relevance:

In our kindergarten, health-saving technologies are relevant. The use of salt lamps and the use of salt paths as a method of healing has a beneficial effect on the health of children.

The use of salt as a remedy creative development, prompted us to develop a project on CTD as part of a circle activity.

A child by nature is a creator and explorer. Children's insatiable thirst for new experiences, curiosity, and constant desire to observe and experiment is successfully manifested in both search and artistic and creative activities. In our preschool institution, for several years, the educational process has been using project activities with children with the active participation of parents of group students.

In my opinion, the main advantage of the design method (this was also evident in the children’s implementation of the “Drawing with Colored Salt” project) is that children are given the opportunity to independently or with a little help from adults:

· Get acquainted with the properties of salt as a food product, and also learn to use salt as a means for creativity.

· Learn to color salt different ways.

· Apply different drawing methods in one work.

· Unleash your creative potential through learning a new way of displaying the world around you, its beauty and uniqueness.

For the formation of creative activity, in addition to program classes in visual arts, additional activities in the “World of Rainbow Colors” circle have a beneficial effect. This is work on unconventional methods drawing, different ways, materials. In all their diversity, we wanted to find a material that is accessible, easy to use, environmentally friendly, health-saving, and most importantly, capable of awakening a child’s imagination to the maximum. And we found it! Salt, painting with salt. How many sweet moments can one experience? little artist, scattering salt to create your masterpiece!

Salt painting, along with the development of children's artistic and creative activity and their imagination, improves fine motor skills of the hands, stimulates speech development, and provides a colossal art therapeutic effect.

U this method several directions:

· Going beyond stereotyped thinking in the color perception of the surrounding world (snow can be pink and the sky yellow), in conveying a form, an image (revive the inanimate and invent the non-existent) contributes to the development of fantasy and imagination

· In one creative drawing connect different techniques. Drawing with salt can be in relief, then the graphics take on a picturesque character - the lines when working with salt are unique in width, depth, and shape.

· Intersensory synesthesia occurs: different sensory sensations are combined - you can draw smell, sound, taste...

· A state of psychological comfort is achieved, a feeling of freedom arises, since there is an opportunity to correct or change your work at any time, there is no fear of making a mistake.

Presentation of the opening of the exhibition of children's works: “Drawing Salt”.

Exhibition of children's works in the foyer of the kindergarten.

An interesting technique of painting with salt will not leave your baby indifferent. This is a very interesting and creative activity.

This activity contributes to the development fine motor skills hands, perseverance, helps develop imagination, creative thinking and imagination, the child develops the ability to draw.

For the lesson you will need:

Colored cardboard (you can draw a picture with a pencil);

PVA glue;

It can be useful:

Colored salt.

Making paintings using salt

First, we draw a composition on the selected background or print it on a printer.

The drawing can be anything. For winter, it is better to draw Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, forest, snowdrifts, bunnies, bears, trees covered in snow.

The child applies PVA glue with a brush around the drawing (you shouldn’t skimp on the glue). If a child can draw independently, then you don’t have to use background image, and immediately apply PVA glue, depending on the child’s idea.

The child takes salt and sprinkles it on the drawing.

When the entire cardboard is covered with salt, you need to carefully tilt the picture and pour out the excess salt. As a result, it will remain only where it was intended and will indicate the details of the drawing.

The drawing, depending on the idea, can be left snow-white, or it can be painted.

In order to paint a picture of salt, you need to dilute the paints in water, and then carefully saturate the picture with a brush or pipette.

In addition, you can initially make colored salt and “paint” with it.

Colored salt can be made in several ways:

Method 1:

We take crayons (colored, limestone or pastel). On large sheet sprinkle salt on the paper and roll the chalk over it.

Method 2:

1. Pour fine salt into a container (bag).

2. Dilute the gouache in the form of liquid “sour cream” and pour into salt.

3. Stir well.

4. Use your fingers to “knead” the salt until the color is uniform.

5. Dry the salt (there are several ways).

5.1. On the battery. Place salt on it and leave until completely dry.

5.2. In the microwave. Dry for three to ten minutes on the highest power setting. The exact time will vary depending on your microwave, so check the salt periodically.

5.3. In the oven. Heat it to one hundred degrees, place a baking tray with salt. It needs to dry for about one hour.

6. Sift the colored salt through a sieve.

Method 3:

All you need is salt, food coloring and a plastic bag.

For 100 grams of salt you need to take 4 drops of dye.

Pour salt into a plastic bag. Then add food coloring there. We tie the bag and begin to crumple it. During the process, you should try to distribute the salt evenly. We do this until we get a uniform color. The package can be untied and the resulting material can be used for its intended purpose.

Did you know that salt can be used for painting? We offer several options for creativity with children using this product. Show your children these techniques and they will no longer be interested in painting with plain paint! Enter with drawings and win a prize.

Salty watercolor

Watch with your children how the paint spreads over glue sprinkled with salt. When the glue dries, these designs will become bright and shiny.

For children from 2 years old.

You will need:

— A pack of regular table salt

— Cardboard or thick watercolor paper

— A bottle of office glue

— Watercolor (liquid watercolor is best, but you can also dilute gouache with water)

— Brush

Instructions:

1. Use glue to draw something on the cardboard.

2. Place this cardboard in a baking dish. Sprinkle the adhesive design with salt.

3. Remove the sheet and shake off excess salt. Repeat until the glue lines are completely covered with salt.

4. Dip the brush into the paint and gently touch the salt-coated glue line. The paint will run on it.

5. Try it different colors in different parts of the drawing until the entire image is completely colored.

6. Dry (the process may take two to three days).

Since children working with bulk products can lead to long clean-up after class, it is best to place cardboard or paper in a baking dish, frying pan or other container with sides.
Even if you explain that all you need to do is touch the paintbrush to the glue design, young children may still make heavy lines or smudge the glue, salt, and paint. This is absolutely normal. If you repeat this exercise periodically, over time they will begin to do everything correctly and watch in fascination as the paint spreads with a light touch of the brush.

Lush paint

Kids love squeezing paint straight out of the bottle and painting with it. The paints dry and form shiny, raised lines.

For children from 1.5 years.

You will need:

- 1 glass of salt

- 1 cup flour

— 1 glass of water

— Gouache of four colors

— Cardboard

— Plastic bottles for squeezing out paint (old ketchup and mustard bottles, as well as shampoo and detergent bottles are suitable)

Instructions:

1. Mix salt, flour and water.

2. Divide the mixture among three or four bottles.

3. Add a tablespoon of gouache to each bottle. Place the caps on the bottles and shake or shake them to mix everything up.

4. By squeezing paint onto cardboard, create any patterns. The youngest children will most likely just make huge puddles; older children may try to draw something.

5. Dry the cardboard (this will take two to three days).

Children enjoy the process of creating this paint no less than the painting itself. The remaining paint will keep for another two to three days in the refrigerator in a covered container. If the bottle neck is too narrow, you may need to make a larger hole.

Salt painting is an amazing activity. Truly AMAZING!

We've done this many times over the years, starting when Maria and her friends from the baby art group were still in diapers. And now at 11 years old she still enjoys it (as do I, even though I'm 39!).

If you haven't tried salt painting yet, now is your chance! First I'll share a video where you can see the whole process, then I'll give you a step-by-step explanation for this fun activity.

Materials:

  • Cardstock (thick paper) (any durable surface will do. We used cardstock, marker board, cardstock, watercolor paper, paper plates and foam board
  • PVA glue
  • Table salt
  • Liquid watercolor (this is ideal. If you don't have it, you can dilute food additives)
  • Paint brushes or pipette

How to paint with salt?

1) Squeeze out the picture with glue or design on cardstock.

2) Sprinkle it with salt until all the glue is hidden. Shake the surface lightly to remove excess salt.

3) Dip the brush into liquid paint, then gently touch down to the glue lines covered with salt. Watch the paint “magically” spread in different directions!

If desired, you can use a pipette. But it seems to me that this method will spill a lot of paint at one time. Still, many people like this method.

4) Let the picture dry thoroughly. This may take a day or two.

Once everything is ready, show it off!

Creating pictures with salt is the most favorite activity in our house (along with the marbling technique, volumetric drawing using Puffy paint in the microwave and splashing paint), as well as all the children I know.

You can use this technique and write names or other words...

Draw a rainbow or a valentine...

...and also depict a landscape, squiggles and scribbles, a face and a bunch of other things!

What about you? Have you already tried to make a picture using this technique with your children?

Drawing on salt in kindergarten. Master class with photos

Gift for graduates: Drawing on salt "Aquarium"

Supervisor: Dergileva Tatyana Aleksandrovna, teacher
Completed the craft: Paptsov Artyom Alekseevich, preschooler. Age 3.5 years.
Place of work: MBOU "Blumenthalskaya basic" comprehensive school"Blumenthal village, Belyaevsky district, Orenburg region.
Goals: learn to place images on a sheet, form aesthetic taste, develop the ability to draw in new ways, learn to create a decorative composition.
Materials and tools:
1. Brush
2. Jar of water
3. Coarse salt
4. Plastic bucket lid
5. Narrow neck glue

6. Watercolors

Purpose: The master class is intended for teachers preschool institutions, primary school, tutors, heads of circles additional education and parents. It is interesting to draw for children aged 3 years and older.

Manufacturing sequence:

1. Choose a subject for the drawing. You can, if it is not complicated, just paint with glue. Can you draw with a simple pencil and circle with glue. We draw with a bottle without pressing. The thinner the line, the neater the drawing. Later, due to the salt, the lines will expand. We have drawn fish, starfish and algae. You can draw on paper or cardboard.

2. Remove the glue to the side. Cover the drawing with salt.

3. Carefully pour in the salt. It’s better to pour it onto a tray so that it’s less scattered on the sides.

4. We start painting right away. And here there is a special painting. It is necessary that as much paint as possible is collected on the brush and we lightly touch the salt in the right places. The paint drips and spreads over the salt. You can even use a pipette for this drawing. (Pick up paint and drip)

5. Paint over the entire drawing.

6. Using a damp cloth, carefully remove unnecessary salt residues that did not stick, but stuck like dust. Our background is dark and this is especially noticeable.

7. Let it dry thoroughly. Paint on with an almost dry brush small parts for expressiveness. You can use gouache. In our drawing, Artyom painted on the eyes.

8. Using a heated awl, pierce the lid. You can ask dad to drill with a thin drill bit. Just don’t pierce it with a nail - the plastic may burst. (Performed by an adult) We thread a strong thread or thin wire and you can hang the work on the wall. It can be used as a gift for graduates from kids.

9. And here are some more works done using this technique on paper and cardboard. Empirically, we found out that it is more convenient on cardboard because... The salt is still heavy and the album sheet bends and threatens to cause the salt to fall off.

We wish you good luck in your drawings! And may your imagination never run out!
