“Celebration of Slavic literature and culture. Day of Slavic Literature and Culture in kindergarten with presentation

Scenario for the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture

"First there was the word"

Prepared by: Samusevich V.N. - teacher of Russian language and literature of the first qualification category

Teacher . What does our native language mean to each of us, the words we hear, write and read? A lot of things! Without this language, without letters, there would not be our nation - the Russian people, there would be no history, not a single great date, not a single great name. Today we will talk about the origins of our language, writing and culture, about how the first letters appeared, without which we would not have a single book today

1 presenter: Guys! Today we celebrate the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, we remember Cyril and Methodius - the creators of the Slavic alphabet. In Russia, the holiday was revived in 1985 and is celebrated annually until May 24. In 1991, the holiday was given state status. Now it’s even strange to think that there was a time when people couldn’t read and write. All knowledge was transmitted orally.

2 presenter: But then writing appeared - a great invention of mankind. It allowed people to preserve knowledge that otherwise would certainly have been forgotten.

1 presenter : Guys, do you know how people conveyed various messages to each other when there were no letters?

(The guys answer.)

The road to writing was long and difficult. It all started, as some scientists think, with bears. It was a very long time ago. In those days, people lived in caves, since there were no houses yet. And some caves were inhabited by bears. One day, people pushed them out of a cave, looked around and saw some mysterious signs on the walls of their homes. These were scratches that the bears made when they sharpened their claws on the wall. People realized that they could scratch an image on a flat surface. This is how the road to writing arose. But the road turned out to be long. Listen to an excerpt from the poem by the American poet G. Longfellow “The Song of Hiawatha,” about the legendary Indian leader.

1st reader:

He took the paints out of the bag,

He took out all the colors

And on a smooth birch bark

He made a lot of secret signs;

They all portrayed

Our thoughts, our speeches.

The white circle was a sign of life,

The black circle was a sign of death;

Sky, stars, moon and sun,

Mountains, forests and mountain valleys,

And everything that inhabits

The earth together with man.

He drew for the Earth

Paint a straight line,

For heaven - an arc above her,

For sunrise - point on the left,

For sunset - the point on the right,

And for half a day - at the top.

All the space under the arc

White day meant

The stars in the center are the time of night,

And the wavy stripes -

Clouds, rain and bad weather.

2 presenter: Guys, what did Hiawatha invent? (Letter.)

(The guys answer.)

What can you call such a letter? (Pictorial)

(The guys answer.)

Many thousands of years ago, our ancestors began to decorate the walls of their homes with various designs. Thus, on stone caves one could see many images of birds, animals, people, and boats. Such writing was called pictography, or picture writing.

1 presenter: Guys, tell me, now, in modern life, are pictograms, that is, a drawing-letter, used anywhere? (Yes, these include street signs, signs, signs, emblems of states, cities, etc.)

(The guys answer.)

Competition “Draw a proverb”

(Participants are given cards with proverbs. Participants need to illustrate the proverb, and the audience needs to guess it.)

Cards

Az, beeches and veds are afraid of bears.

What is written with a pen cannot be cut out with an axe.

Alphabet - the wisdom of the step.

2 presenter : Later, picture writing was replaced by “sacred signs” - hieroglyphs, and when two thousand years ago the Phoenicians invented symbol letters only for consonants - cuneiform. Based on the Phoenician script, the first alphabet appeared in Greece, which gave rise to both Latin and Slavic writing.

Other writing methods are also known. For example, South American Indians used knotted writing - quipu. They attached thinner cords to a thick cord or stick. You could tell what we were talking about by the color of the cord. Yellow meant gold, white meant silver, red meant warriors. And the number of knots on the cord indicated the number of people or objects. And in North America, the Indians transmitted information using wampum. Shells of different shapes and painted in different colors were strung on cords. Red meant war, black meant threat, white meant peace, happiness, prosperity.

1 presenter : In the third century BC, hieroglyphs appeared in the East. These are signs that stand for whole words. In China, there are approximately 50 thousand hieroglyphs, and they are written and read not from left to right, as in our country, but from top to bottom.

2 presenter : Russian writing also has elements of hieroglyphic writing. For example, the signs “+”, “-”, “=”. The “+” sign can be read in different ways: as a plus, and as an addition, and as an addition; sign “-” - as a minus, subtract, subtract; the “=” sign is like an equals sign, equals, equals.

1 presenter : Now, guys, guess the riddle:

Black, crooked, mute from birth.

They’re unlikely to—they’ll start talking right away. (Letters.)

(The guys answer.)

Letters make up the alphabet. The Slavs did not yet know letters, but the Phoenicians, a people who inhabited the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the first millennium BC, already had their own alphabet consisting of 22 letters. It is interesting that only consonants were reflected in the letter, and the vowels were guessed according to their meaning.

2 presenter : What kind of writing did not exist in the world! But despite the fact that they wrote differently in different countries, at all times and among all peoples the people who created writing were revered and respected. So we annually honor the memory of two enlighteners - the Thessaloniki brothers Cyril and Methodius, who were born at the beginning of the ninth century in Greece in the city of Thessaloniki. Hence they were called Thessalonica brothers. These were very educated and wise people.

1 presenter : The elder brother Methodius was appointed ruler of one of the regions in the Balkans, later he became a monk and entered a monastery. Kirill was the patriarch's librarian, then taught philosophy in Constantinople, for which he received the nickname Philosopher. His real name is Konstantin. And he took the name Cyril before his death when he was tonsured a monk.

2 presenter: In 863, both brothers were invited to the palace of the city of Constantinople, where the emperor instructed them to travel to Moravia, modern territory of the Czech Republic, to preach sermons in the Slavic language in the country that had recently converted to Christianity. But the ancient Slavs did not have their own written language, which means they could not read. And the books known at that time were in Greek, which the Slavs did not understand. The brothers were given a difficult task. And so they decided to first compile the Slavic alphabet and translate books from Greek into Slavic.

1 presenter: Cyril and Methodius developed their own original writing for the Slavs. The first alphabet was called Glagolitic and consisted of 38 letters. How many letters in this alphabet were different from other alphabets!

2 presenter: The Solun brothers took some of the letters from the Greek alphabet, and some they invented themselves. They rewrote several biblical books for their people using the new alphabet. For this feat - the creation of Slavic writing - the brothers were canonized. The activities of Constantine and Methodius met resistance from the German clergy, who opposed the Slavic letter.

1 presenter: Only three languages in the world - Hebrew, Latin and Greek - were acceptable in those days. After the death of the Thessalonica brothers, their students continued their activities in disseminating Slavic writing. And only later, in Bulgaria, students of the Enlightenment invented the second and main Slavic alphabet. Do you know what it was called and why? (Cyrillic, after the name of one of the brothers.)

(The guys answer.)

2 presenter: In Cyrillic, the letters have a simpler and clearer form for us. It was the ‘bf alphabet’ that became the basis of the Russian “ABC”. Why did this textbook get this name? (By the names of the first letters - “az” and “buki”.)

(The guys answer.)

2nd reader:

In the old days, children studied -

They were taught by the church clerk.

They came at dawn

And the letters repeated like this:

A da B is like Az da Buki,

V – as Vedi, G – Verb.

And a teacher for science

On Saturdays I flogged them.

It was difficult to read and write

To our ancestors in the old days.

And the girls were supposed to

Don't learn anything.

Only boys were trained.

Deacon with a pointer in hand

I read books to them in a sing-song manner

In church language.

1 presenter : Time passed. People gradually simplified the Cyrillic alphabet and excluded some letters from it. This is how the modern alphabet appeared. How many letters does it have?

(The guys answer.)

2 presenter : Do you know what our ancestors wrote hieroglyphs on, drew pictures and wrote out the first letters?

(The guys answer.)

They wrote on cave walls, clay tablets, papyrus, animal skin, parchment, birch bark, palm leaves, fabrics, and metals. And in the second century AD, the Chinese invented something without which there would have been no printing - paper. And now we can’t stop admiring colorfully illustrated books.

1 presenter: Look how beautiful the pages of these books are! We are surprised and admired by the creations of man, but we should not forget the first teachers, because thanks to the works of these people, today we can read any book, write any text, and pass on information to future generations.

3rd reader:

The tombs, mummies and bones are silent, -

Only the word is given life:

From ancient darkness

At the world graveyard,

Only the Letters sound.

And we have no other property!

Know how to take care

At least to the best of my ability, in days of anger and suffering,

Our priceless gift is speech.

2 presenter : I.A. In this poem, Bunin bequeathed to his descendants to take care of our Russian speech. And we also urge you, our young generation, to be careful, respect and understand Russian culture and our traditions.

4th reader:

Singing about Russia - why strive to go to church

Through forested mountains, field carpets...

To sing about Russia - to welcome spring,

What to wait for the bride, what to console the mother...

To sing about Russia is to forget the melancholy,

What is love to love, what is it to be immortal!

Attention, we have arrived in the city of books. We already know that Cyril and Methodius invented letters, and other people write books using these letters. Look how many books there are here! These books are written in letters that were invented by two holy brothers. This book is called "Psalms". This is the “Trebnik”, this book contains special prayers that people read for different occasions. And this is the Orthodox alphabet, it is called that because all its letters and words speak about God, about faith in Him.

Leading:

Guys, let's try to make books too. There are book sheets in front of you. They are different in color. You need to collect sheets of the same color and fasten them with tape (children collect books).

Leading:

Well done guys, what beautiful books you turned out!

Leading:

Here comes the next city - Skillful Hands. Here you and I will be masters. And, like Cyril and Methodius, we will decorate the first letter of our name.

Olya, what letter does your name begin with?

Guys, what do you think we can use to decorate the letters? (pattern, colors) (show on the board elements that can be used to decorate) Look how I decorate my letter. My name starts with the letter O (children decorate their letters.)

Guys, what beautiful letters you made. Show them to your guests. (show letters)

Leading:

Was it difficult for you guys to come up with a pattern? (answer) Now you know how difficult it was for Cyril and Methodius to come up with such beautiful letters. In honor of the holiday of Cyril and Methodius, let's give these letters to our parents and explain to them what holiday it is today.

Leading:

Our holiday has come to an end. In conclusion, I would like to say to you, dear guys: “Take care of our language, our beautiful Russian language, this treasure, this heritage handed down to us by our predecessors!.. Treat this powerful weapon with respect; in the hands of skilled people it is capable of performing miracles "

Teacher: 2014 has been declared the Year of Culture. We want to turn to the origins of our culture, to introduce you to the history of the origin of writing in Rus'.
Today, more than ever, it is worth remembering that the Day of Slavic Literature is a pan-Slavic holiday. We must carefully preserve age-old traditions. Understand that all Slavic peoples have always been united.
So, let's take a journey through the pages of history. Let's find out how writing appeared in Rus'.
Russian
-It’s hard to believe, but once upon a time we didn’t have printed books.

There was a time when our Slavic ancestors did not have a written language. They didn't know the letters. (Slide 2) They wrote letters, but not with letters, but with drawings. Every object of our ancestors meant something, symbolized something.
Teacher: Guys, do you know what our ancestors wrote in? Yes. It was papyrus. Please note on the board we have samples of papyrus leaves. (Slide 3) Later in Rus' they began to use birch bark sheets (processed birch bark). The beautiful birch tree has long been revered in Rus'.

Teacher: (Slide 6) Brothers Cyril and Methodius, originally from Byzantium, holy brothers equal to the apostles, brought writing to Rus' and created the first alphabet (Cyrillic), which we use to this day. They are revered as saints.
Let's go back to the distant past and listen to the conversation between two brothers. Let's find out which of them dreamed of creating the Slavic alphabet.
(Slide 7)

(two brothers are sitting on a bench, a school teacher is walking behind him with a book)
Author: On the shore of the warm sea stands the city of Solun (now it is called Thessaloniki.) Here Byzantium ended, then came the vast lands of the Slavs, our ancestors. Many residents of Soluni were also Slavs.
Two brothers lived here, the sons of a military leader. Their father was Greek, but their Slavic mother spoke to the children in her native Slavic language. It's time for the boys to go to school. The elder brother MEFODIUS began studying first, and a few years later the younger brother Konstantin went to school.
Everything at school seemed terribly interesting and surprising to him, and he kept pestering his older brother with questions:
Kirill:
- Why does the teacher speak Greek all the time? I heard that in the shop he spoke excellent Slavic.
Methodius:
- So it’s in the shop. And at school you can only speak Greek. Because books, knowledge, everything comes from the Greeks.
Kirill:
-Why don’t the Slavs have their own books?

Methodius:
-Because you can’t write in Slavic.
Author: At this time, a school teacher passed by. He heard the brothers talking.
Teacher:
-Don’t you know that only cultural languages are worthy of ink and parchment - Latin and Greek. All other languages are rude and barbaric, and you cannot write in them!
Kirill:
-No, you can! - said the younger brother. So I will grow up and come up with Slavic letters.
They leave. The chronicler enters with the ABC and sits down at the table.
Years have passed. The younger brother studied very well and soon became the best student in the entire school. He was sent to study further, to the capital of Byzantium, the city of Constantinople. But even there he did not forget about his dream - to create the alphabet of the Slavs.
The Greek king Michael sent these brothers to the Slavs so that they could talk about the holy Christian books and book words unknown to them.

Teacher: And so the brothers Constantine and Methodius came to the Slavs to create the Slavic alphabet.

Presenter (teacher)
On May 24, 863, in Bulgaria, Cyril and Methodius announced the creation of an alphabet. They tried to keep each letter of the first Slavic alphabet simple and clear and used the new alphabet to translate Greek religious texts into Slavic. (Slide 8) Cyril and Methodius translated the Ostromir Gospel (Slide 9), the Apostle and the Psalter into Slavic.
They remembered that a person, as soon as he saw a letter, would immediately want to master writing.
And Cyril and Methodius came up with initial letters, and from them they made up the alphabet. What is this alphabet called? (Cyrillic). Why is it called that? (named after Kirill, one of its creators).
(Slide 10) That's right, guys. At first there were two alphabets: Glagolitic and Cyrillic. Take a closer look at these Cyrillic letters. Don't they remind you of letters you already know? (Children's answers). Each letter in the ancient Slavic alphabet was special. They had a name. Let's read the names of the letters of the first line together.
(Slide 11) (Read in chorus)
Az - I;
Beeches – letters, books;
Vedi - to know, to know;
Verb - I say, word;
Good is good;
Yes – yes;
Live - life;
Presenter (teacher)
If you noticed, all the meanings of the letters had good meanings and were associated with life and earth. The alphabet told about the life of the earth.
Let these ancient letters now come to life with the help of our magical ABC.
"Letters" are included.

Az: Hello children! Guess which letter I am? That's right, my name is "Az". Name the words that begin with me. (Children call).
*****
Beeches: Now guess what my name is? That's right, my name is "Buki". Remember how many good, tasty words begin with my letter. Name them. Now call us in order.
*******
Leading: The result is the word "ABC". You, dear letters, have the great honor of standing at the beginning of our alphabet. This is what people say: “First “az” and “buki”, and then science.” The path of each of you into the world of knowledge begins with the basics. Guys, remember the proverbs about the benefits of learning.

The guys say the proverbs:

1. Learning is light, not learning is darkness.
2. Live forever and learn.
3. Hard to learn - easy to fight.
(Slide 12) with proverbs)
Leading: And another letter is rushing towards us. Introduce youreself!
Lead: Hello children! My name is "Vedi". I know everything, I know about everything.
I want to ask you a few riddles. I find out that you know. (Reads from the scroll).
1. The bird sisters sat in a row
And they speak silently. (letters)
2. Not a bush, but with leaves.
Not a shirt, but sewn,
Not a person, but a storyteller. (book)
3. I’ll catch a goose and throw it into the water,
I will drive him, he will talk. (Feather)
4. What kind of water is only suitable for literate people? (Ink)

5. Five oxen plow with one plow. (Fingers and pen)

Leading: Let's continue our acquaintance with the Slavic alphabet.
Letter Verb:Hello children! I am the letter "Verb".
Leading: What a beautiful name you have! What does it mean? What do you guys think? To verb means to speak. But before you speak, you need to think carefully. People used to say: “If you say a word, you won’t get it back, and you’d give a lot for a word, but you won’t be able to redeem it.”
Letter Verb:Let's try to finish the endings of sentences
(Reads from the scroll) (Slide 13)
2 A: “Az, beeches, lead, scary as…………. the Bears."
2 B: “They teach the alphabet, they shout to the whole hut……………...”
2 G: “First AZ and BUKI, then …………..science.”

Leading: Look, another letter is rushing towards us!
Good: Good afternoon, children! My name is "Good".
Leading: What a good name you have! Kindness is the best character trait of a person.
Today we will perform the song “Kindness” (Slide 14)
KINDNESS Words by N. Tulupova Music by I. Luchenko
It is not at all easy to be kind.
Kindness does not depend on color,
Kindness is not a carrot, not a candy.

Chorus:
You just have to, you just have to be kind
And in trouble we will not forget each other.
And the earth will spin faster,
If we are kinder to you.

It's not easy to be kind.
Kindness does not depend on height,
Kindness brings people joy
And in return it does not require a reward.

Kindness does not age over the years,
Kindness will warm you from the cold.
If kindness shines like the sun,
Adults and children rejoice.

Leading
: And a new guest is coming to us from ABC!

People: Hello children! I am the letter "People".
People, you live in harmony,
Bring affection and love.
We cannot divide the radiant sun into parts,
And the eternal land cannot be divided,
But you can have a spark of happiness, you must,
You can give it to your friends.
Leading: Meet us, a new letter is coming to us!

Think: Hello, children! My name is "Think".
Leading: What a wise letter has come to us!
Think: I brought you sayings. Explain their meaning. (opens scrolls with proverbs and sayings.)
2 A class.
A mind without a book is like a bird without wings.
A bird is not red with its feathers, it is red with its mind.
Gold comes from the earth, and knowledge comes from books.
2 In class.
A book is to the mind what warm rain is to sunrise.
It’s not good to read books if you can only grasp the tops of them.
What is written with a pen cannot be cut down with an axe.
2nd grade.
The spoken word has existed and no, but the written word lives forever.
The book decorates in happiness, and consoles in misfortune.
Bread nourishes warmth, and a book nourishes the mind.
Teacher: Well done, guys! Everything was explained correctly..
Belarusian
The sages have long known:
Where smart thoughts are cramped,
There is no envy, no boredom.
There are jacks of all trades there.
Sew, cook and draw,
Sing and dance loudly.
Belarusian
There are letters that hiss,
There are whistling letters
And only one of them -
The letter is growling.
Letter Rtsy: Hello, children! I am the letter "Rtsy".
No wonder I’m proud of myself, because I am the beginning of the word “Rus”
Rus' is rich in talents,
Rus' is strong in talents.
If the girls sing, -

Today we will talk about our history, about the emergence of Slavic writing. Every year on May 24, Russia celebrates the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture. A nation, people, and state cannot live without culture, literacy, and writing.

Familiar volumes
The pulse of Russia beats in them,
Life itself is eternal in them.
Page after page...
You will find the answer to everything.
No, they won't get dusty
And after many years.

Writing is a real treasure that man has mastered.

So in ancient times, people exchanged information by sending each other various objects. It turned out cumbersome and not particularly clear. When people realized that exchanging message objects was a troublesome task, they began to draw these objects.

(Demonstration of rock paintings)

Such images were found on the walls of caves where ancient people once lived. These are the first steps of man towards the creation of writing. Gradually, people began to replace drawings with symbols.

(Demonstration of rock letter symbols)

Inscriptions were made on stones, rocks, and on boards. Of course, it was inconvenient to carry such “letters” over distances, and these signs could be understood in different ways.

Time passed. Gradually, people moved from drawings to signs, which they began to call letters. This is how writing was born.

(Illustration depicting Cyril and Methodius)

You see an image of two brothers in monastic robes. These are Cyril (in the world Constantine) and Methodius (in the world Michael). Originally from the city of Soluni (Thessaloniki), which is located in Greece. Enlighteners of the Slavs, creators of the Slavic alphabet, preachers. They were very educated people. They came from a pious Slavic family, their father was a military leader. Kirill began attending school at the age of 8, mastering Greek and Latin. Cyril and Methodius took part in military campaigns, carried out diplomatic missions, translated books, and were sent on an educational mission to Moravia. But the enlightenment of the Slavs turned out to be impossible without books in their language. Therefore, Cyril and Methodius began to create the Slavic alphabet. On May 24, 863, the brothers announced the invention of the Slavic alphabet.

(Image: ABC. Glagolitic and Cyrillic)

Glagolitic and Cyrillic are the first Slavic alphabet. The name of the alphabet “Glagolitic” comes from the word VERB, which means “speech”. And “Cyrillic” is named after its creator. In Ancient Rus', the Glagolitic alphabet was used to transmit church texts and existed for 3 centuries, and the Cyrillic alphabet was used in everyday writing. There are 43 letters in the Cyrillic alphabet, which later became the basis of the Russian alphabet.

(Image of the first books)

In 988, a palace school of “book learning” was opened in Kyiv. A new center of book culture arose; the school connected Kievan Rus with European civilization.

Books in Rus' were very expensive. They were made on parchment: the skin of the sheep was soaked in lime, dried, then honey was rubbed in.

(Image: Birch Bark Letters)

In Rus', another material for writing was used for a long time - birch bark. Marks were applied to birch bark using a bone rod.

Since the 10th century, literature based on the Glagolitic and Cyrillic alphabet has been spreading in the Old Russian language. Most often these were church books, teachings, and scientific works.

(Image: ABC)

The appearance of the letters of the Slavic alphabet helps us see the world through the eyes of our ancestors. Each letter is individual, unique and has its own name: lead, people, beeches, az, earth.

The names of the letters were supposed to remind people of words that should not be forgotten: “good”, “live”, “earth”, “people”, “peace”.

"Az" and "Buki". The result is the word "ALC."

This is what people say: “First “az” and “buki”, then science.” It is with the basics that the path of each of us into the world of knowledge begins.

Guys, listen to proverbs about the benefits of learning.

  • He who wants to know a lot needs little sleep.
  • Going into science means suffering.
  • The light stands by God's will, people live by science.
  • Without flour there is no science.
  • To think nothing means to become sour.

A total of 44 sister letters look at us from an ancient scroll. They became the basis of the modern Russian alphabet.

(Image: Monuments to Cyril and Methodius)

In honor of the enlighteners Cyril and Methodius, a holiday was established - the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture. This holiday came to us from Bulgaria, where this tradition is already more than 100 years old. To this day, on the eve of the holiday, Bulgarians lay flowers at the monuments to Cyril and Methodius.

In our country, the holiday began to be celebrated in 1986. In 1992, sculptor V. Klykov created a monument to the Slavic enlighteners, Cyril and Methodius, which was installed in Moscow.

Russian language.
I love my native language!
It is clear to everyone
He is melodious
He, like the Russian people, has many faces,
As our power, mighty.
He is the language of the moon and planets,
Our satellites and rockets,
At the round table meeting
Speak it:
Unambiguous and direct
He is like truth itself.

On May 24, all our people celebrate the Holiday of Slavic Literature and Culture. On this day, a monument to Cyril and Methodius was unveiled on Slavyanskaya Square in Moscow. At the foot of this monument there is an Unquenchable Lamp - a sign of eternal memory. Since then, every year on May 24 we honor Cyril and Methodius.

It is a pity that we began to celebrate the Holiday of Slavic Literature very late, because in other Slavic countries this day has been celebrated a long time ago, publicly, very colorfully and truly festive.

(Slide 38. Saints Cyril and Methodius)

The Solun brothers Cyril and Methodius are the pride of the entire Slavic world. They said: doesn’t the sun shine for everyone, doesn’t it rain for everyone, doesn’t the earth feed everyone? All people are equal, all people are brothers, everyone is equal before the Lord, and everyone needs literacy. The Orthodox Church canonized the brothers Cyril and Methodius as saints.

Two brothers, Cyril and Methodius,
We want to say thank you
For the letters that we really need
To teach us to read.

Vasilisa the Beautiful and Koschey the Immortal appear in the hall to the music. He pulls her by the hands into his kingdom of evil.

Koschey: Ah, it’s you who came here...

Well, you have found your death!

Everyone calls me immortal

Victory is always waiting for me!

And in vain now you are torturing yourself -

You won't get Vasilisa!

She should be mine

And she will be my wife!

Koschey leaves to the music. Vasilisa remains in the kingdom.
