1. Travel…
You can start your journey from any museum on the themed route and continue in the order you like.
To start your trip, you need to come to the selected museum on a weekend at any time during its opening hours and simply buy entrance tickets. There is no additional fee for participating in the program! Please remember that ticket offices in museums usually close an hour earlier than the museum.
2. Documents and navigation maps...
At the first museum, all travelers from 5 to 14 years old will receive a game passport.
The passport contains information about its owner and is equipped with four travel maps, which include museums participating in thematic routes, and also contains all the information about the work of the museums. In addition, in the passport you will find brief descriptions of all museum routes.
By presenting their passport, travelers receive a game guide at each museum, with the help of which they set off on a journey full of surprises and discoveries.
After completing the tasks in the guidebook, you will be given a stamp in the circles next to the names of the museums. The more museums you go through, the more prints will appear on your map.
Don't forget your passport at home, always take it with you.
If you have lost your passport, you can obtain a duplicate from any participating museum. However, the stamp impressions of the museums visited are, alas, not restored: they are different in all museums.
3. Pleasant trifles...
The traveler's passport and guidebooks remain with you as a keepsake. You can color them, re-read them, complete assignments at home, and also show them to friends and acquaintances and even show off a little. After all, when you have learned something interesting and also completed tricky tasks, you have something to be proud of!
Each museum will also give you a small commemorative reward. Each thematic route has its own rewards.
When you go through all the museums of one thematic route, you will also become the owner of a memorable diploma.
4. Family passes...
As part of the project, family subscriptions have been published, which are distributed through the Moscow Department of Social Protection of the Population, the Public Relations Committee and the Moscow Department of Culture among low-income and socially vulnerable families.
If you are a family pass holder, this information is for you.
A family pass entitles a family of up to four people in any composition to free entry to any six participating museums.
Don't forget your season ticket at home: without it you won't be given free tickets.
The subscription is valid only on the days of the program.
If you have lost your membership, we will not be able to replace the loss. Take care of him.
The subscription has six identical tear-off stubs, which will be torn off when visiting museums. When there are no tear-off stubs left, the subscription ceases to provide free entry to the museum. But the journey can be continued by purchasing regular entrance tickets. All benefits established by the Moscow Government and the Moscow Department of Culture are preserved.

For cases when your children want to complete tasks on their own, without your help, museums have written additional interesting information for you about some of the exhibits that you will meet along the way. Attention! This information can only be downloaded from this site. It is not in museums. Download, print, and go!
You need to not only spend your everyday life with your family, but also relax together. After all, this is a great opportunity to take a break from everyday problems and feel like part of a strong and friendly family. But do not forget that it is too early to take babies and very young children on family trips, so you should wait until the child is 4-5 years old. And you can safely plan your trip.
A place for travel and family vacation should be chosen together, because vacation should bring pleasure not only to parents, but also to children. Otherwise, there is simply no point in taking small children with you. And yes, when booking places and planning your vacation, take into account the age of the child and the availability of possible vacation options for him. For example, if you choose a hotel where couples most often stay together, then it is quite logical that your child will quickly get bored there. As a result, you will have to entertain him yourself, or the child will simply begin to be capricious and ask to go home - also not the best option. Therefore, every little detail should be taken into account. Every family member should get the pleasure of a vacation, otherwise it will no longer be a family vacation, but a complete hassle. Family trip with children beyond the borders of Russia
The first possible option for family travel with children is a trip abroad. Suppose, if you choose a holiday at sea, make sure that there is either a children's animator, special excursions for little ones and, of course, other children. Of all the possible options, we advise you to travel together to Thailand and Belize (Caribbean coast).
In addition to the sea, there is the option of traveling around Europe and America. The option is of course expensive, but emotions and memories will go off scale and will remain in the memory of you and your child for a long time.
The dream of any child who has watched Disney cartoons at least once is to visit the world famous amusement park Disneyland. Orlando has an analogue of the world famous park - Walt Disney World. There you will meet well-known cartoon characters, and you will also be able to immerse yourself in the world of Harry Potter (by the way, the most visited place in the park), ride on numerous attractions and interact with sea animals in Discovery Bay. Another popular route for children and adults is Denmark, a compact and not always cheap country that seems to be specially created for small residents. For example, the fabulous amusement park has lots of good food, free music and nightly fireworks. Psychologists believe that it is better to take a 10-12 year old student on such a trip.
A trip to India will be colorful and memorable for your family - jungles, elephants, colorful castles, beaches and the proximity of wild nature will do their job and give you a lot of positive emotions.
In Italy they love children very much, so you will not have problems going out to a restaurant with them late at night, for example. Together with your spouse and child, you can enjoy the most delicious pizza in the world, and visit the most famous historical places - the Colosseum and Pompeii. In addition, you can enjoy delicious ice cream in numerous Italian parks, take nature walks or swim at the local beach.
You can also take your children to the residence of Father Frost - Lapland, because every child dreams of meeting this fairy-tale hero, whom he has heard about since childhood. From October to March you can see the incredibly beautiful Northern Lights, and in the summer you can visit numerous national parks
Family trip to museums
A more economical option for family travel by car in Russia. Here you can settle down calmly and find entertainment both common for the whole family and for everyone according to their taste and desire. Choose any city that you have not been to yet, or if you are by car, you can visit the cities that are part of the Golden Ring.
For families with school-age children, there is a museum program in which several museums in the city participate: “Family trip: the whole family to the museum!” — now in almost every major city in Russia there are museums that have a special program-game for children. At the entrance they are given a traveler's card and during their stay the child is given the opportunity to independently study the exhibitions and answer questions. Let us turn our attention to the Moscow project: sixteen museums of different profiles are involved there. The child is given a bright and colorful guidebook - now he becomes the hero of some adventure story, in which he is helped to overcome all the “obstacles” - tasks and expositions (no more than 15 pieces) - by a fairy-tale character.
To begin this educational family trip, you should pick up a participant’s passport at one of the participating museums (since we are on a trip), which offers three card options for different age groups.

And for the first time in 2013, a “Formula of Love” route was developed for children aged 13 to 15, in which children study everything related to human feelings and experiences.

Transport for family travel
Firstly, the choice of car should be made by the one who will be behind the wheel all the time, most often it is a man - he should be comfortable behind the wheel, and nothing should distract him.
Secondly, the car should be designed specifically for the whole family: if your family has four or more members, then you should take care of a spacious car, for example a minivan. If you also have a large dog, the car should have a spacious trunk or it could be an SUV with a station wagon body. Pay attention to the folding seats; it should be possible to transform them into a third row (so that seven people can fit in the car). All these characteristics correspond to an MPV class car.
Third, do not forget to purchase car seats for the little ones and attachments for other children. Typically, the fastening system is provided in machines that cost more than $15,000.
Fourthly, for the safety of your children, you should provide for locking the rear doors, as well as various drawers or shelves for convenience on the road. And the presence of climate control in the car will make life easier for all travelers during the road.

You can start your journey from any museum on each age-specific thematic route. To do this, you need to buy a regular entrance ticket, receive a free Traveler's Passport, a game guide and parting words from the museum staff. You can continue your museum adventure in any order.
When visiting each subsequent museum, the young traveler receives a new guidebook and other necessary materials. And, of course, small but memorable gifts await all travelers. And if you visit all the museums on one thematic route, then you will also receive a traveler’s diploma!
If the traveler is so young that he doesn’t even fall into the “5 to 7 years old” category, it doesn’t matter! After all, in every museum (except for the teenage route) special sheets have been prepared with simple but interesting tasks for children 3-4 years old. And for adult travel companions, the museums have prepared interesting additional information for the routes, which can be downloaded from the project website.
