The frost crackles at night,
Pinches the finches' noses.
The Christmas trees are lined up
Change forest outfit.
Hats, snow coats
The garlands are gold.
Soon, soon New Year.

He walks through the forests.
The stars shine brightly for him,
He has gifts in his bag.
Tangerines, oranges
For the children of the country of Russia.
Waffles, apples, lemons
And millions of nuts.
Hurry up, New Year,
The kids are already waiting.

(M. Azariyants)

Guys, do you already have Christmas mood? Are you looking forward to the New Year?

Of course you are waiting! This is very cool, because it brings us joy, gifts, magic, congratulations from family and friends! But in order for the New Year holiday to be bright and cheerful, you need to prepare for it! For example, choose or make gifts for family and friends yourself, this can be holiday card or a New Year's drawing, a bright fairy-tale craft decorated with tinsel and sparkles, or New Year's toy to the Christmas tree! A gift made with your own hands is valued much higher than one bought in a store, because it is made from the heart, diligently, and we put imagination and our New Year's mood into it! Is it true?

So, today we will try to give a little bit of our New Year’s mood to all the teachers and children who study at our school! How will we do this? It’s very simple - we will draw bright, colorful New Year’s drawings and arrange a “New Year’s Tale” exhibition at school! But before we get to work, we need to remember what our Russian Father Frost and the beautiful Snow Maiden look like! Do you remember? After all, the New Year cannot be magical and joyful without them! A discussion arises, the children discuss the image of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.

Well done boys! But it’s still better to see them clearly! Look at the screen! (Slide 2. Image of Father Frost and Snow Maiden).

- Guys, how can you characterize them? What clothes are Santa Claus and Snow Maiden wearing? What hairstyle do these characters have? How are their moods conveyed?

Well done boys! But not only Father Frost and the Snow Maiden can be depicted in a New Year’s drawing! What else can you draw?

Of course, a decorated New Year's fluffy tree, gifts, the symbol of the year 2018 - a dog, various animals and birds, children and adults. Let's see how artists depicted the New Year on their canvases! (slides 3, 4, 5). Photos of artists’ works: “Before the Holiday” and “New Year” Rybakova Irina; “New Year” Alexander Guryaev.

- How is the New Year depicted in the works of artists? How is the New Year's mood conveyed?

Well done! The New Year's mood is conveyed through the color scheme of the picture, through the facial expressions of people's faces, their gestures and movements.

Now let's look at some children's New Year's work! (slide 6).

- Children's works are distinguished by brightness, emotionality, joy, and naivety! And what kind of work you and I can do! Let's try to portray a “New Year's fairy tale” and convey the festive mood! First you will need to make a sketch with a simple pencil, then work in color. The material can be chosen according to your wishes - it can be gouache, watercolor, colored pencils, felt-tip pens, wax crayons. And the final stage is decorating the work with sparkles, tinsel, rain, you can use cotton wool to make voluminous snow! Let's get to work!

Practical work. Students draw drawings on the theme “New Year's Tale” on A3 format (material is provided for the children to choose from - gouache, colored pencils, felt-tip pens, wax crayons, watercolors). The teacher controls the work, advises, directs in the right direction, indicates errors, demonstrates best works students. You can turn on New Year's music for the mood (at the teacher's choice).

Well done guys! Now that you have finished your work, you can begin to decorate the exhibition in our school and convey the New Year's mood to those around you!

What is the topic of our lesson?

Where do we start working on the sheet?

First, let's decide on the location of the sheet.

Next, let’s decide on the background of the picture: what the background should be to convey delight, joy, and festive mood. To do this, consider two paintings by artists and the guys decide on the choice of warm color range. When making the background, students mix different colors of paint with white paint on a palette, creating soft, pastel colors.

After completing the background, we move on to the main task of our lesson, drawing a Christmas tree. And the question helps us with this: “What is the shape of a Christmas tree?” Children name the figures associated with the shape of the Christmas tree: a triangle, an umbrella, a female figure in a long dress. Associating the Christmas tree with female figure, the slenderness of the forest beauty is emphasized. This association immediately creates an image of a tree that is correctly proportioned.

“If the Christmas tree is a woman in a long dress, then how will the folds lie on it?”

Let's start drawing step by step.

1. Draw a triangle. At the top of the triangle we draw a star.

2. Draw the top part of the tree, consisting of three branches, as shown in the figure. The ends of the branch lines should join the star.

3. Add two or three more rows of spruce branches. In each subsequent row of branches, add one more. Thus, row 1 - three branches, row 2 - four branches, row 3 - five branches, etc.

4. Then draw a trunk under the tree.

5. Erase all auxiliary lines.

6. Let's start coloring.

7. Decorate the Christmas tree.

Reflection. There is a Christmas tree hanging on the board. We need to decorate it. Everyone has three on the table Christmas decorations: red, yellow, blue. You need to hang a toy on the Christmas tree, the color of which corresponds to the emotional mood at the end of the lesson (blue toy - didn’t like the lesson, yellow - so-so, red - really liked the lesson).

Everyone knows that best gift- This is a gift made with your own hands. By spending very little time, you can create a beautiful exclusive picture or New Year’s card, taking ideas from our article.
