One of the most important music awards in Russian show business is behind us - MUZ-TV 2016. This year, a large-scale event took place at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex. Already in the afternoon, fans began to circle around the complex, many of whom brought posters with photographs of their idols.
At 17 o'clock the first stars began to appear - Dmitry Nagiyev, Lera Kudryavtseva, and Maxim Galkin came out to meet the jubilant crowd. The quartet greeted everyone present and exchanged sharp jokes at each other. A little later, the presenters were joined by guests of the ceremony, many of whom were nominated for the award: the Serebro group, Natalya Ionova, Ani Lorak, Anna Sedokova, the Factory group and many others. In the foyer of the Olympic Stadium, everyone fussed terribly in search of the right door, celebrities began to step on the hems of each other’s dresses, photographers did not want to let the celebrities go. Finally, the commotion died down and everyone entered the hall.

The MUZ-TV Award started with the hit of the Leningrad group -, new soloist fervently sang about the amazing pants and shoes on high heels accompanied by a psychedelic video sequence of Van Gogh’s self-portraits and women’s legs. After a dashing start, two duets of presenters appeared on the stage - Ksenia Sobchak and Maxim Galkin, Lera Kudryavtseva and Dmitry Nagiev. Nagiyev admitted that there could have been more presenters, but because of his fee, the budget was not enough for the rest.
By the way, Sergei Shnurov and his team didn’t have to leave the stage far - they turned out to be winners in the “Best Rock Performer” category and immediately went behind the MUZ-TV plate. The leader of the Leningrad group made a short but succinct speech:
I can’t help but remember the words of the Russian poet Yegor Letov: “Our people love all kinds of s***.” Thank you.
To deafening applause, Shnurov, in a white alcoholic T-shirt, walked behind the stage with wide gaits.
One of the most touching moments of the ceremony was the presentation of the award in the category " Best Album". The long-legged beauty Elena Perminova and the singer Igor Nikolaev came on stage, they presented the prize to Dima Bilan for the album “Don't be silent.” When the singer stood up to receive the prize, Elena took the microphone in her hands:

At the final of the MUZ-TV award, Sergei Lazarev appeared on stage with an incredible light show and performed song You Are the Only One. The whole hall sang along with Sergei!

Unlike America, where the main social events are concentrated in the winter, in Russia the hottest time in every sense of the word occurs in the summer. It was especially difficult for partygoers this week, because while the Kinotavr festival was taking place in Sochi, the main music award of the year, the MUZ-TV Award 2016. Energy of the Future, was being presented in Moscow. Almost 20 thousand spectators gathered at the MUZ-TV channel's award ceremony at the Olimpiysky on the evening of June 10. And if some of them came to support their favorite performers (Nyusha’s fan club, for example, does not miss such opportunities), then the majority still longed to see the Show. In anticipation of the event CEO MUZ-TV Arman Davletyarov promised to surprise the viewer with something grandiose, so we fully expected to see, for example, Beyoncé or at least Craig David. It was known in advance that Egor Creed (by the way, guest editor of HELLO.RU in June), Dima Bilan, Sergey Lazarev, Ani Lorak would appear on stage, and a special surprise - a performance by Danila Kozlovsky.
At about 16:00 in the evening, the red carpet of the award started, along which Nyusha, Anna Sedokova, Valeria and Joseph Prigozhin, Kristina Orbakaite, Timati and many others walked along to the deafening screams of the assembled fans. Special attention journalists enjoyed one of the presenters of the ceremony, Ksenia Sobchak.
Amid rumors about Ksenia’s pregnancy that appeared in the press the other day, everyone tried to take a look at her figure. But as a true master of provocations, Ksenia Anatolyevna chose the outfits in such a way that the question remained open. It seemed that awkwardness could arise during the presentation of the award in the “Best Female Video” category, in which Glukoza and Maxim were presented, among others. The situation was complicated by the fact that both girls celebrate their birthdays this week, Glucose on June 7, and Maxim on the day of the award, on the 10th. Another “plate” would be a great gift for any of them. However, Anita Tsoi became the winner. While giving a speech, she thanked her husband for his support and seemed about to burst into tears from the surging emotions. But she restrained herself.
Before announcing the names of all this year's prize winners, it is necessary to mention the most outstanding performances. From a technical point of view, the MUZ-TV Award is a real world-class show. The huge stage literally before our eyes was transformed into platforms for amazing performances.
