Find a portal in the Fortress

The active part of the portal emits level 15 light, although there is no benefit from it without mods.

An active End portal can be obtained using mods; it instantly teleports the player who touches it. On multiplayer servers this is used as a trap, although most servers do not allow indestructible blocks.

Equipment

Prepare for battle with the following equipment. You can place chests with sets of equipment near the portal; if you die in the Land, you can quickly take another set. You can also put a bed and sleep in it, so that you can return to the Land without traveling again from the base to the Fortress.

• Piston and redstone source (torch, lever or button) to collect dragon eggs after victory.

The dragon can attack different ways: fireballs and breath. Both of these attacks leave a cloud of poison that you need to stay away from. It also deals damage by hitting with its head or wings, but armor should keep the damage to a minimum.

The dragon is healed when it flies near the End crystal, so you must first destroy the crystal and only then attack the dragon.

The main risk is that the dragon can throw the player into the air or throw him off a high pillar, causing great damage when falling. Shoes with the "Zero Gravity" enchantment will reduce the damage; Ender pearls or a bucket of water can also help.

When a dragon is charging towards you, a hit to the head with a sword or arrow can cause it to stop attacking.

Destroying the End Crystal

Each End pillar contains a crystal at the end. You need to destroy them before you fight the dragon. Some of them can be shot from the ground with a bow.

The main danger is falling from a high pole.

Two crystals are protected by an iron cage; you will have to climb up and break the cage with a pickaxe.

How to find a dungeon?

If you have already figured out how to get and craft the eye of the edge, then you need to throw it on the surface, it will show you the approximate direction in which direction the portal is located (most often it is located under the ocean floor, but there are exceptions). But we don’t recommend throwing it every 20 blocks, because it has a 20% chance of not appearing as a drop, so you need to stock up, or at least 10-20 pieces to find the portal (it may not be enough if you throw too often). After you are above the portal, your eye of the edge will not fly up as before, but down. Find an approximate place where the eye will fall almost at a right angle and start digging down. After all this, you will find yourself in a dungeon, where there will be many tunnels and various rooms, you will have to explore all this simply by running around the dungeon (I strongly recommend that you take more torches so as not to get lost). Also, the room with the portal may be separate from the tunnels and buried in the ground, but this happens very rarely. After this, you need to insert the eye of the edge into the frame of the portal so that they look into the hole with lava (below the screenshot).

After these simple manipulations, you just need to jump down, but it’s best for you to prepare! I also recommend that you sleep near the portal, since the likelihood that you will die is very high, and it’s scary to run far, and besides, things will disappear!

Fight with the dragon

I recommend that you have a full diamond set with weightlessness on your boots (you can take a pumpkin instead of a helmet, or just try not to look the enderman in the eye). It is also best to have all armor at defense 4 and a bow at strength 4 or 5 with the desired infinity (a burning arrow is pointless, since the buff does not affect it). By the way, after you get to the ender world, you need to quickly line up to big island, it’s better not to take anything other than cobblestones at first, since the dragon can drain you before you have time to swear at him.
