About the artist:

Name: Nikita Kondratenko

Hometown: St. Petersburg

Date of birth: 02/26/1992 (25 years old)

If you are from St. Petersburg, then you have probably heard about “Emoji FM”. The founder of the now deceased group “Sins of the Fathers”, a participant in the “Versus Battle” project, the organizer of the freestyle battle “Huyak” and one of the “oldest” battle rappers on our scene. All this is Jubilee.
Nikita began his journey back in 2007-2008, when he participated in the freestyle battle “Urbania.
The first one came out in February last year. solo album Jubilee. Everyone was extremely surprised, because in “Emojifm” he opened up on the lyrical side, but before he had only done battle rap. The album turned out to be very good and extremely interesting. It marked a turning point in Jubilee's career. Nikita himself says that against the backdrop of “EmojiFm2”, the first album is a collection of raw demos. Which seems to hint at the unreal quality of the material and even greater variety of sound.
Nikita recently released a video for the song “Polar Night” and now he is preparing the third part of “Emojifm”.

Born in Casa Blanca, Morocco, Jubilee understood the power of music at a young age. He watched as his father played old records and instruments such as the tarbouga, the aoud and the bandir. Arriving to the U.S. in 2001, Jubilee immediately took to the streets of Washington D.C. as a club promoter for Panorama. During this time, his interest in becoming a DJ grew while watching people like DJ Alex Kelly in 2001 hit the tables for six-hour sets. Noticeably inspired, he was soon handed the headphones and hit the ground running with innovative sounds inspired by his own unique and culturally infused sense of rhythm and beats. For Jubliee, now producing his own tracks, the medium of house music continues to evolve as an art form. He is dedicated to creating both a journey for his listeners as well as using music as a base for his own journey through the intricacies of life. His is known for his unmatchable creativity and his impenetrable work ethic. Yet, more than anything Jubliee is a product of the exclusive and ever growing house music scene in our nation's capital. Though based in Washington D.C., he travels routinely between cities such as New York, San Francisco, and more With pals Gabriel, Benoit, Navid Jubilee has put together successful events at established venues like D.C.'s WAREHOUSE/THE LOFT along with a regular residencies at NAPOLEON, and U ST MUSIC HALL He has booked and played with global talents such as Stephan Bodzin, Marc Romboy, Deepak sharma, Seuil, till von sein, Kate Simko, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves, Ewan Pearson, Pantha du Prince, Nicolas Jaar and Nick Curly, just to name a few. “Sins of the Fathers” is a Russian rap group from St. Petersburg, created in 2011. The lineup included: Jubilee, Dima Gambit, Mic Chiba, speedball, asthma, Kid Shahid, Galat and Krip-A-Crip. Over the short period of its existence, the team released 4 releases and 7 video clips. The team broke up at the beginning of 2013.

The group was created in 2011 by childhood friends Jubilee and Dima Gambit. The main line-up of the group was formed immediately: Jubilee, Dima Gambit, Mic Chiba (or simply Chiba), Kid Shahid, speedball and asthma. Later they were joined by Galat and St. Petersburg hip-hop veteran Krip-A-Crip.

At first, the songs performed were distinguished by frequent critical attacks on religion, and the nature of the music, for the most part, was aggressive and battle-like in nature. Inverted crosses, modern sound, humor about sacrifice, flirtations with Satanism and the corresponding jargon showed the band in a rather dark light, which attracted many, but repelled even more: some were frankly embarrassed by the mention of such subtle and intimate topics as religion.

“ At the same time, Sins have their own style (which not everyone will like, and they know it), and they are also more fashionable than ninety percent of what is visible in Russian rap.

The team designated St. Petersburg as their place of residence, although it later turned out that Mic Chiba lives in Voronezh, but often visits St. Petersburg. Where the rapper speedball lives is still unknown, but rumors say that you can meet him somewhere in the Moscow region.

In parallel with making music, the team kept a video blog RZhK-life (at the moment most of the episodes are hidden on YouTube, but a couple of videos still remain), which told about the everyday life of the young participants: reports from parties, joint walks, gatherings in bars, freestyles, backstage from the filming of videos, etc. For the most part, these videos played a role in the formation of the image of “Sins” - they looked not only young and daring, but first of all a real party and real friends who stick together not only because -for a common passion for rap. The website Keep-It-Real.Ru mentions this fact in its review of the disc by Mic Chiba, one of the participants:

“The real strength of civil society lies elsewhere - they are a real party. Or at least very convincingly they create a myth about the party nature of their project. In their group, new content from the “In the Animal World” series regularly appears: videos about “life in the area,” reports from freestyle battles, interviews taken from each other. All this together makes a pleasant impression and is truly filled with life.

In February 2013, in official group On VKontakte, the team announced its breakup: the exact reason for the termination of joint activities was not given, however, in a comment for Rap.Ru, the leader of the Jubilee team hinted:

“There are many reasons for the disintegration: from constant rotation of the lineup (someone comes and goes regularly) to tense relationships within the team. Armed showdowns did not play a major role, but some accents were also placed. Regarding the future fate of the participants: everyone moves solo, from now on the paths should not intersect.

Nikita Kondratenko
Jubilee[edit | edit wiki text]
Nikita Kondratenko. Born on February 26, 1992 in St. Petersburg. He began to show musical activity at the age of 16-17, periodically appearing at St. Petersburg freestyle battles. He posted his songs on the Internet, which earned him a little popularity in narrow circles of fans of extraordinary hip-hop. In 2010, he first appeared in front of big audience, as a special guest at the concert of Oxxxymiron and Schokk. For a long time vehemently opposed Internet battles, agitating people to take to the streets and hold street rap battles (the artist’s point of view is expressed in more detail in the 2010 track “Song Contests,” in which Internet battles are compared with competitions on best composition, while in street competitions everything happens in real time).

Within the framework of the “Sins of the Fathers” project, he acted as a creator, ideologist and informal leader. According to some reports, he personally mixed all the team’s releases, and was also responsible for filming and editing video clips. After the collapse of the group, he stopped appearing in in social networks and exhibit any media activity.

On December 3, 2014, the first video from Jubilee's new video blog "Jubilee Wins - Attack on Starcon" was released.

On December 23, 2014, the Jubilee composition “Ketanov” was released, the video of which included the rapper’s Backstage video.

On March 12, 2015, a remix with a video for the track of the American group Rae Sremmurd, Jubilee and Galat "No Flex" was released.

On April 26, 2015, a mixtape was released together with Galat "ENIGMA", on which, in addition to Jubilee and Galat, you can hear such performers as: Dima Gambit, Heavy, Mel P.

Dmitry Kuznetsov
Dima Gambit[edit | edit wiki text]
Dmitry Kuznetsov. Born on August 29, 1992, in the city of St. Petersburg. Joined Jubilee, which began posting its songs on the Internet in 2009. Because of their close friendship from a young age, they performed for a long time as part of an informal duet, not designated as a tandem, but constantly appearing together everywhere (including at all performances and in most photos).

Gambit himself became famous after frequent outstanding performances at a self-organized street MC battle, where he took part in rapper fights in a humorous manner, often while heavily intoxicated. 2011 released the solo mixtape “Fabulously Fuck*y”, the first single from which was the video clip “Stas Mikhailov”, recorded together with Krip-A-Krip, who had recently been accepted into the “Sins” lineup at that time. On the Internet, among listeners of the group, he is known for his rather rude manner of communicating with fans (it is possible that this is also humor).

Mic Chiba
Lev Prozorovsky. In August 2012, he presented his debut mixtape “High Five, Chiba”, in support of which two video clips were released.

“So, another interesting party from St. Petersburg, who to put on a par with their predecessors means giving a big advance, but there is something about them that captivates. Probably, the presentation they chose for themselves is not a blunder, “hey, rap.ru, no one knows us, but we have an album, upload it to the site at random.” And the unexpected, funny and provocative video “Stas Mikhailov” in the company of Kripla, then Dima Gambit’s first mixtape, followed by another video “Just Wow”, atypical and cute, followed by a combo from the video “ Middle finger" and the mixtape "High Five, Chiba" ... Sins in general and "High Five, Chiba" in particular are a new wave. They are not alone, and it is equally difficult for them all where the arithmetic average of the genre is rap accompanied by a melancholic piano.
Rap.Ru, Andrey Nikitin. Review of the mixtape "High Five, Chiba" »
The most conflicted member of the team, primarily known for his frequent Internet skirmishes with other representatives of the Russian hip-hop community. In April 2013 he announced a mini-album; as of August 2013, no more detailed details about the release had appeared.

In September 2013, he took part in the mixtape “Notes of a Madman” by rap artist Schokk, who previously made the cover for the mixtape “High Five, Chiba.” Also on September 29, Chiba appeared at the presentation of “Notes” in Moscow.

speedball[edit | edit wiki text]
The least is known about this member of the group: there is no official data confirming his identity, or at least allowing him to reliably identify his age and place of residence. According to unverified information, his name is Alexander, he lives in the Moscow region, in the city of Zhukovsky. As part of the project, GO released a consisting of four songs mini-album “Hundreds of Personalities”, and also took part in the recording of all the team’s releases. It is difficult to find images of the artist’s face on the Internet; at concerts he hides his face under dark glasses and hats.

asthma[edit | edit wiki text]
Previously known under the pseudonym Loony Tune. He was considered the oldest in the group before the appearance of Kripple. The songs were released quite rarely; they were mostly autobiographical in nature and told about the everyday life of a drug dealer. According to the artist himself, he said goodbye to illegal substances a long time ago, and in his songs he only shared memories of past experiences, but the fans of the group still labeled the performer as a “huckster.” He is minimally active on social networks, explaining that he is trying to put things in order in real life.

Kid Shahid[edit | edit wiki text]
A native resident of the cultural capital of Russia. Ex-participant scandalous famous team"Sins of the Fathers". Currently working on a solo album. Also in school years Daniil bought himself the CD "The Eminem Show". As Shahid himself said: “I still know all the songs from this album by heart.” From that moment on, he fell in love with this music.

Galat[edit | edit wiki text]
Vladimir Galat. This creative pseudonym is his real last name. He was the latest to join the group in October 2012, simultaneously with the release of the “Street” video. By profession he is a lawyer, and the tracks mention drug use and a wild lifestyle. Due to the soon separation of the team, I did not have time to take full part in the creative activities of the group, limiting myself to a few tracks and two videos. He was a regular participant in the street battle “HUYAKS”, which was the reason for his rapprochement with the other members of “GO”. The text published on the band's anniversary mentions this fact:

“After the next HUYAKS, it was decided to update the roster with a new member - Galat, who had not missed a single battle in its two-year history. Devouring opponents under the pseudonym Vova Gnome, this MC earned attention to his person, and his passion for unbridled madness and sinful lifestyle fit perfectly into the Sins of the Fathers ideology, so there was no question about whether to take the new MC into the group. »
On February 28, 2013, Galat released a solo mini-album “For Sorrow and for Joy.” A joint track with Kripple, “Hard Mode,” was recorded, but was dismantled into pieces - Galat took his verse on his own track “Understand It Correctly,” and Kripple supplemented his and included it in his debut solo album under a completely different name (“Soup with a Fly”). and instrumental. Participated in the releases of Dima Gambit, Mic Chiba, Olegga.

He took part in the rap battle Versus five times, where his opponents were Khokhol from the group ovd, Yanix, and also, in a two-on-two battle, Tanir and Tyomcha K. aka Karabin from the group DGJ, freestyler Re-Pac, and rapper D .Masta

Gleb Volkov

The introduction was accompanied by a video work released on June 19 for the song “Stas Mikhailov”, named after the artist of the same name popular singer, performed by Krippl together with Dima Gambit. The song was included on the latter’s mixtape entitled “Fabulously fucked.”

On August 17, Mike Chiba's mixtape High Five, Chiba, featuring Cripple, will be released. On December 16, 2012, Cripple left Sins of the Fathers.

Jubilee (Nikita Kondratenko) biography, photo

Jubilee (Jubilee) is a young rapper from St. Petersburg (real name and surname - Nikita Kondratenko. Born February 26, 1992 in St. Petersburg), who at the age of 17 became one of the best punchliners in the country. For the first time they started talking about him at the suggestion of Oxxymirona, who introduced him as his protégé.

Recording tracks in a hurry, this MC clearly stands out from the main circle of St. Petersburg lyricists, and considers it his duty to create the necessary alternative to the rap that currently prevails in his hometown.

Jubilee does not participate in any Internet battles, preferring street or club freestyle fights, and it is in the role of a battle MC that he appears in his songs. Founder of the “Sins of the Fathers” project, former multiple participant in “Versus Battle” and organizer of the “Huyax” freestyle battle.

Nikita among many listeners has the image of an evil battle rapper, but this is far from the case. Over the last period of his work, he tried to get away from this established image, and with the latest mixtape “Emoji FM”, which was released in February of this year, he succeeded: now the compositions have acquired a fresh sound, which is the right decision, and are fairly mature stories in content, in which everyone can find something of their own. But don’t forget about the old wonderful compositions.

On February 27, 2016, the debut album entitled “Emoji FM” was released. The tracklist consists of 12 songs, one of which is a fit with hvy & BARZ. All tracks were produced by drunk, except 1 - blow blow beats and 4, 10 - hvy; 4, 6, 12 - co-production by Monte Molotov. Mixing of all tracks - feedjee, except 10 - hvy and 3 - sted d. Cover by Yulia Petrova.

On September 5, 2016, Jubilee broadcast on Periscope, during which he told a lot of interesting things. Thus, the artist expressed his opinion about the new releases of Bumble Beezy and Matey, talked about the arrest of Sokolovsky and the conflict Rickey F VS Gnoyny, and also spoke about his attitude towards such performers as Galat and Redo.

On the eve of the release of the new release "EMOJI FM 2", Jubilee decided to warm up the fans with a new hot track with the participation of long-time comrades Emeli and Dima Gambit, joint tracks with whom always turn out to be extremely interesting.

The new track, released on October 28, is dedicated to the love affairs of rappers, and sounds in approximately the same vein as the compositions from the first “EMOJI FM”.

On November 25, 2016, the premiere of one of the most anticipated albums of the year from one of the most popular and relevant artists in the West, The Weeknd, “Starboy,” took place. Such a big news story couldn’t ignore Jubilee, whose release of “Emoji FM 2” is also just around the corner, and so he presented his freestyle on the title track from the Canadian’s record. The St. Petersburg rapper basically retained the theme of the original text: talking about fame, girls and dynamic life. this work simply provides a nice appetizer before the long-awaited sequel to the rapper's February project. To make the wait for the release less difficult, we suggest you read the lyrics to Ju’s new track.

In December 2016, Jubilee was actively working on the second part of the “EMOJI FM” album, devoting the lion’s share of his time to it. However, in order to stir up listeners’ interest in the upcoming record, on December 9th, the best battle MC in St. Petersburg presented his new track called “Young Beatles”. The work is a freestyle on the joint track of the duo Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane, which was released this summer as part of the album “SremmLife 2” and became a kind of anthem for the Mannequin challenge.

Literally the next day, Jub had a new line in his biography, and a bifAbif happened: BOULEVARD DEPO vs JUBILEE! As it appears, last works Jubilee was not particularly impressed with Boulevard Depo, which is why he started provoking him. Of course, Ju did not ignore this and even gave an answer. Apparently, now two St. Petersburg rappers will be looking for Depot. See screenshot:

Jubilee in 2017!

At the end of 2016, Gnoyny, together with SD and D.Masta, released the track “Struya”, where he offended many rappers, including Jubilee, and then released a parody remix of the track “Young Beatles”, where he redid Juba’s lines. Of course, the artist did not ignore the situation and released a response diss track, in which he responded to all the caustic punches in his direction. In his diss, Jubilee explains that he was initially at the origins of battle rap in Russia, and also offends Slava by the fact that he contradicts himself when he speaks negatively about Versus Battle, and then he himself participates there, that he is “anti-hype”, and For the sake of hype, he tries to shine everywhere. Well, apparently another battle will be waiting for us soon.

In February 2017, the story is still ongoing! Two days - three disses right at the beginning of the month, just like in the old days good times. Following two tracks of Glory to the CPSU, Jubilee decided to post her answer online. The new work is called “Requiem”, and in it the performer analyzes the composition of his counterpart, released yesterday. However, due to the very similar content of Slava’s two disses, Jubilee’s track can be considered a response to everything that his opponent managed to present to him.

Emoji FM 2: night broadcast

On February 17, after numerous announcements in the tracks, and in the community, Jub finally presses the gas pedal and uploads the second part of his EP, which is called “Emoji FM 2: Night Live,” to the network. As you know, Nikita doesn’t really like it when the stories in his songs are interrupted, which is why all the tracks are connected by the voice of the presenter. The entire album is solo, i.e. in the literal sense, this is full-fledged work without a single fit. The work will delight those who like to listen to life stories in a slightly depressing way; and also check out the new punchlines and battle inserts. 10 new tracks! XX was responsible for mixing all the songs, and the cover was drawn by Maxi Max.

In May, Jub will present a new single from the upcoming album "Emoji FM 3" - the track "Bitch Stylist". Producer and beatmaker Alexey Babich aka DRVNK was responsible for the production of the composition.

Emoji FM 3

The final part of the Emoji FM Jubilee trilogy was presented by the Artist on October 12, 2017. We can safely agree with the opinion of the Performer’s fan base, people who claim that after all, the gambit from St. Petersburg should return to rap! The release of the year, and for many, the whole life, the tracklist of which consists of thirteen tracks, among which there is only one feature with Lemka Emelevska; The sparkling meaning accompanied by a high-quality instrumental from Nikita turns the soul inside out and shakes out all the secrets of his past in front of the microphone, completing the saga about the mysterious city of the Ninth Lot. Jubilee juggles skeletons from the closet, describing his life in detail to the latest sound, and in between songs, DJs from the Emoji FM radio station unravel the mysteries of the mystical snowy city.

Childhood and adolescence Greetings to guests and regular readers of the site website. So, rap artist Nikita Kondratenko, better known under the pseudonym Jubilee, was first released on February 26, 1992 in St. Petersburg. Jubilee began his activities in the field of hip-hop when he was 15 years old. The guy was a frequent participant in freestyle battles on the streets of his hometown, here he honed his recitative and made new acquaintances.
During the same period, our hero tries to record his debut tracks, posting them in the public domain. These works began to slowly but surely gain their first listeners, and even then Jubilee enjoyed some fame on the Internet. The boy chose his bright pseudonym in honor of fictional character from the Marvel universe, since Kondratenko himself is a big fan of comics.

Music career

In his first songs, Jub tried to confidently go against the grain, including expressing his negativity regarding online battles that were popular at the time. According to him, rap competitions on the Internet are not full-fledged, and if a person calls himself a battle ms, he should take part in street verbal fights, because this is the only way to truly demonstrate his true battle skills.
In 2009, Jubilee often appeared in public with his childhood friend Dima Gambit (real name Dmitry Kuznetsov). Officially, they were not a tandem then, but they performed together.
IN next year rapper and grime artist Miron Fedorov, better known as , invited Nikita to warm up his joint concert with Schokk. With the light hand of Oksimiron, the general public learned about Jubilee, especially since he suddenly announced that Nikita was his protégé. Feeling recognized and famous, Jubilee in the same 2010 created his own freestyle battle “HUYAKS”, which was held not only at special venues, but also on the streets. Everything was allowed: profanity, insulting the enemy, his relatives, and the like. Nikita met such personalities as, and many others.
In 2011, Nikita, together with Dima Gambit, created the group “Sins of the Fathers”. Its composition, which was formed very quickly, included: Mic Chiba, ASTMA, Cripple, Speedball, and a little later Galat joined.
Jubilee was not the official leader of the group, but was considered its "founding father". He did the main work of filming and editing videos. The team was slowly gaining fame; on November 11, 2011 (11.11.11) the mixtape “New Testament” was published, consisting of 14 compositions.

Jubilee - I Play with It (2011)

However, in the second year of the group’s existence, an incident occurred that later backfired painfully. In one of their performances, “Sins of the Fathers” allowed themselves rude statements against some Russian rap artists (Johnyboy, D.Masta, H1GH, Eric Vice and others).
One of the insulted, D.Masta, could not let such dirt in his direction go unnoticed and came with a crowd of men to their performance at the end of December 2012. D.Masta forced everyone to apologize in front of the camera, then posted this video on the Internet as promotional material for his album “#TURN OFF THE RAP.” After this incident, the group did not last long and was disbanded in the first half of 2013. After the collapse of the association, Jubilee did not perform for a long time and did not appear on social networks.
In the fall of 2013, after a long lull, the artist took part in the rap competition "VERSUS BATTLE", our hero's opponent was the Underground Prince Hutt, whom Jub easily defeated.

On November 11, Nikita released a film adaptation of the single “Home, Sweet Home,” which marked his return to the “big game.”

Jubilee - Home, Sweet Home (2013)

At the beginning of 2014, he presented a video for the track “Until the End”.

Nikita Kondratenko had been nurturing the idea of creating an album in the style of a radio broadcast for a long time, and in February 2016 listeners were able to evaluate the result of a long, painstaking work performer. The “Emoji FM” album, consisting of 11 solo tracks and one joint with hvy, BARZ, became one of the most significant in Jubilee’s career, because it was it that brought a wide stream of new audiences to the young artist.

Jubilee - Invulnerability (2016)

The film adaptation of the single "BRNNNG" was released only on February 17, 2017, in which close comrades of our hero starred.

Concerning personal life technical rap artist, the guy does not have a lack of female attention. On social networks, Jub posts a lot of photos with various girls, and in his tracks he talks about a large number of fans. For a long time, Nikita’s listeners suspected him of having a love affair with Lema Emelevskaya until she began an affair with.

Jubilee now

On October 12, 2017, Jubilee expanded its discography with the album “Emoji FM 3”. The third part of “Emoji FM” contains 12 solo tracks and one joint with Emelevskaya.
