PLAYBOY Nikita, how often do they call you by name? After all, you took your last name as your stage name.

ALEKSEEV Off stage, of course, people rarely call people by their last name. Sometimes called by someone else's name. It looks something like this: “Alexey, I am your most devoted fan, I can’t live without your creativity! If you only knew how important a role you played in my life!” And I answer: “Thank you, but I’m Nikita” (laughs).

ALEKSEEV Caroline is very sincere and a kind person. How much you can see in her eyes, how much strength and love there is for the world, for the stage and for her audience. She's incredible.

PLAYBOY And to own clips do you have a hand in it or do you give them entirely to the master of your craft - Alan Badoev?

ALEKSEEV You need to trust professionals. Especially if it's a master. Crazy in his creativity, he drives everyone present at the event crazy. film set. So many beautiful things are born in his head, and by bringing his ideas to life, he shares a piece of the strongest energy. Among other things, this man is a great philanthropist. Many people know that our first joint video for the song “ drunken sun“Alan Badoev shot it for me absolutely free. But this is far from his only gift to me. For example, for filming last clip“I feel with my soul” Alan provided almost all the looks for me from his own wardrobe. His desire to do good deeds amazed me; it is this quality that is more valuable than others in this person.

She admitted that she had lost faith in herself, and the song “Forever” helps her fight for her place in life

PLAYBOY It is customary for artists to celebrate round dates of online viewings. Do you also adhere to this tradition?

ALEKSEEV I am grateful to everyone who is involved in my work: the team that does everything for my success and supports me with all its heart; the audience for whom I live. It’s great that our videos have millions of views, and the geography of our concerts is expanding literally every day. However, I don’t see any reason to celebrate - everything is just beginning, there is still a lot of music and creative experiments ahead.

PLAYBOY Tell me, what did your sun drink to become so drunk?

ALEKSEEV An ocean of beautiful melodies (smiles).

PLAYBOY What must be in a song for it to be included in your repertoire?

ALEKSEEV The musician creates a beautiful song when he talks about what is happening to him today. I'll tell you a story. A couple of months ago, the author of my singles “Oceans of Steel” and the new “Forever”, Kirill Pavlov, came to my concert. The day after the performance, he sent me the song and said: “Nick, thank you! I couldn’t write anything for a month and a half; depression had already set in. Yesterday I was at your concert, and voila! Listen, maybe this will suit you?!” And for the first time I heard a melody that had been ringing within me for a very long time. You see, beautiful song we need an opportunity, a moment of someone's fate, an unusual situation when the composer, listening to the performer, feels and understands what is going on in that person's head. I passed all my songs through myself. Each of them is a part of me.

Something “hits” the very heart. And after such a knockdown a person rethinks his whole life

PLAYBOY Like, for example, your latest song “Forever”, which you decided to release after a fan’s comment?

ALEKSEEV Yes, that is right. After one of my solo concerts, where I performed the song “Forever” for the first time, I read on my Instagram a comment from a girl who was in trouble. She admitted that she had lost faith in herself, and the song “Forever” helps her fight for a place in life, cope emotionally and not give up in a difficult situation; heals morally, despite physical pain, instills faith in the best... I was very touched by the story of this girl, and she became decisive in the choice of our next single.

PLAYBOY What should a girl have for you to pay attention to her?

ALEKSEEV Something that “hits” the heart. And after such a knockdown, a person rethinks his entire life. I admit, now there is a new feeling living in me. This is such a trembling moment when I am afraid to scare away what is there, like a bird. Like a fledgling idea that can dissolve in a second. I am inspired, I want to create and share my creativity and this bright emotion.

PLAYBOY Most recently, you were spotted among the jury members of a beauty contest. It is difficult to evaluate the most beautiful girls countries?

ALEKSEEV As the classic said: “Beauty is not judged, beauty is a mystery.” It turned out very well for me good impression about the participants. It was a special evening for all those girls and they passed all the tests with flying colors. What was pleasantly surprising was when last competition They, holding hands, collectively, all together, carried out a task that was originally intended to be individual. At that moment they were one whole, big friendly family, which, it seems to me, is completely unusual for beauty contests.

It was a pleasant surprise that at the last competition the girls, holding hands, all together completed a task that was originally intended to be individual

PLAYBOY In addition to music, you are interested in football and tennis. Do you take a break from creativity in sports?

ALEKSEEV I don’t need breaks in creativity, I’m always searching, and football is just a hobby. I am a passionate fan of this sport and get great pleasure from it.

PLAYBOY What are you going to declare 2018 the year of in your life?

ALEKSEEV Something is coming, I'm excited. There is so much music in my destiny, I am truly happy: the international tour “Drunken Sun” continues, premiere debut single from the second album has already taken place - the song “Forever” became my new beginning. I'm sure she will take me to her audience and give me a lot happy events. Now is the best time for this.

The most mysterious Russian-speaking singer, performer of the megahit “Drunken Sun” is going to Eurovision 2018.

Six years ago no one knew about him. Nikita did odd jobs, earning pennies. And now the 24-year-old guy performs under the pseudonym ALEKSEEV (yes, in capital letters) in halls of thousands, he has substantial fees, his videos are gaining tens of millions of views, and soon he will perform on “” from Belarus. If the artist’s last name seems too common and unmemorable to you, it doesn’t matter. Still, almost everyone has heard his hit “Drunk Sun.” What sets him apart from the crowd of pop musicians is his special timbre and incredible charm. A barely perceptible alienness, detachment from ugly world show business and idle parties.

TV Program magazine found out how much he received for unskilled labor, why he lived in a foster family, where he proposed to his beloved for the first time, and why the upcoming competition could change his life.

- You are going to "". But why not from our native Ukraine, but from Belarus?

— I consider myself a Belarusian singer as well (the artist was born in Kyiv, but his uncle is from the Gomel region of Belarus. — Author). In 2017, according to the largest Belarusian TV channel, I became artist of the year. My songs are well known in the country. Last year we visited more than 15 countries with concerts, so I could represent any country in which I am popular. I think that I will receive support from Ukraine at the competition.

— The song Forever, which you chose to perform, is essentially a translation of the song “Forever”, which has already been made public. And according to the conditions, you can perform with a composition voiced no earlier than September 2017. Will you be disqualified?

“We didn’t choose this song, it chose us itself.” First, we posted the track on YouTube - and without a video, it instantly gained 5 million views. As for the legal difficulties, it was like this: on May 18, on my birthday, at one of the concerts I sang a small fragment of this song, a piece. Piano version. So the entire song was not performed. The European Broadcasting Union confirmed that there was no violation.

“If a beautiful girl appears nearby, I will not let her go”

— You spent part of your childhood in Spain. And they even seemed to look like a Spaniard. How did this happen?

“I ended up there at an early age on the initiative of my aunt, who wanted me to master Spanish. And as soon as the opportunity arose, I was sent to the town of Mula, a four-hour drive from Madrid, to a foster family. Aunt knew that my mother would not approve, so she carried out the operation without her: she received permission from a notary and sent me to Spain, I was three years old. The family in which I lived did not have children, and I literally became family to them. I flew there for the summer every year, lived there for quite a long time - and at some point my adoptive parents even wanted me to stay. I learned the language and felt free. And once upon returning home, right at the airport, I announced that I wanted to return to a Spanish family. This is where the trips ended. We didn’t communicate with Fernando and Pepa for 16 years, and last year they found me on social networks. They are incredibly happy that my fate turned out this way. I’ll try to see them when I fly to Madrid as part of a promotional tour before Eurovision.

— Who else would you like to meet?

- With Father. He left us when I was very young. Initially, he insisted that my mother not give birth, and then he left for another family. Once, when things were not easy for us, my mother turned to him for financial help, but he refused. Not because there is no money, but because she didn’t listen to him and gave birth to me. However, I want to find him. I know that he lives in Israel and may see my performance during the European tour or at the competition itself.

- Do you really have no bitterness, resentment, anger left?

— I can’t say that I grew up in a dysfunctional family. Every day I was blessed with a huge portion of love. Friends and family did everything to fill the gap that might arise. I had a wonderful childhood, the best teenage years. And I have nothing to hold a grudge against my father for and nothing to forgive him for either. And one more thing: I dedicate the song that I will sing at Eurovision to him. Maybe this will awaken some feelings in him.

— They say that your song “Drunk Sun” is dedicated to parting with your beloved. Is it true that you proposed to a girl in Spain three years ago?

- Yes, in Barcelona over dinner I proposed to her. But I didn’t hear a positive answer. I was very worried, but I can’t say that it bothers me now. It was difficult then, I won’t hide it. Now another stage.

— Maybe after that incident there is an internal block inside you, which is why new relationships are not born? Is work a way of protection?

- No, there is no such thing. And what I do shouldn’t be called work. I try to enjoy what happens to me. And if a beautiful girl appears next to me, whom I want to hold tightly by the hand, then I will not let her go.

— Now ALEKSEEV is a star. Take one look and any girl will jump on your neck. Was it the same before?

— I composed songs inspired by bright feelings for girls. Of which I only had two during my studies. A wonderful and pure relationship that I remember with a smile. We don't communicate, but it was a great songwriting experience, let's say (laughs).

— So, any experience goes into songs?

- Absolutely!

“I stood in a prince costume in a cosmetics store.”

— What did you have to do during your hungry student years to earn money?

— These were positions I hated. Absolutely uncreative. Although it was there that I learned to communicate with people and understand and feel them. This is important for a musician - to find out a person’s thoughts and understand what worries him. He sold satellite dishes, worked as a loan officer and promoter, sang karaoke, and stood in a prince costume in a cosmetics store.

— So every girl who listens to you and dreams of meeting you as a prince on a white horse could do this in the store?

- Six years ago.

- Which maximum amount Do you give concerts a week?

- Differently. Behind last week there were five concerts.

— Do you consider yourself a rich person? A millionaire, for example.

— Remember what Bob Marley said about wealth? “What do you mean when you say rich? Does property make a person rich? I don’t have this kind of wealth, my wealth is life.” I don’t need it, but you definitely shouldn’t discuss fees and material assets with me. I am a person of creativity and music. Am I happy? Yes.

The artist’s colorful performance at the Eurovision selection left no questions: it is he who should represent Belarus in Lisbon. Photo: *details | pr&communications

— I went there twice. In 2012, at the pre-casting stage, not even blind auditions, I headed the selection committee. We had an interesting and very short dialogue, the essence of which I am still trying to decipher. First I sang Come Together The Beatles, after which Konstantin suddenly asked: “What’s wrong with the army?” To be honest, I was taken aback and didn’t know how to react. He said honestly: “I wasn’t in the army.” The casting ended there; I was not accepted. And two years later I got to the blind auditions, Ani Lorak turned to me, and I reached the semi-finals.

- What can make you angry?

— The loss of my favorite team, London Arsenal, I have been rooting for them for more than 11 years. This year, not everything works out in the English Championship, but there is nothing left to do but support. Talented guys.

— If you step back and look at Nikita Alekseev from the outside, what is his the main problem on currently?

- There are many such things. Oddly enough, I don’t like talking about myself in interviews. It sounds pretty stupid, but it's true. Problem? More like a challenge. As soon as the moment comes when I can tell myself that I have become a master of my craft, then I will be absolutely happy.

Private bussiness

Nikita Alekseev (stage name ALEKSEEV) was born on May 18, 1993 in Kyiv. He started playing music at the age of 10. In 2014, he reached the semi-finals of the show “The Voice” in Ukraine. In 2015, he released the song “Drunk Sun,” which became a breakthrough. The single was certified platinum on iTunes. Each subsequent track was no less successful - for them Nikita collected many music awards in Russia and the CIS countries. Not married.

The 23-year-old handsome man has a whole army of fans besieging his dressing room after the concert... Nikita is in demand and happy, but all this could not have happened if our hero’s mother had compromised and made a wrong decision...

- Nikita, I heard that Alekseev is a pseudonym, and yours real name another.

My passport says the surname Alekseev, but it’s not exactly mine. My grandfather, whose last name was Chumak, took the last name Alekseev after a soldier with that last name shielded him from a bullet at the front. Since then we are all Alekseevs. I am sure that there is some kind of magic in this surname and many of my successes are connected precisely with this story.

They say you're in great demand. I arrived in Kyiv this morning, and already at night you have another flight. It’s good, at least we won’t meet at the airport.

Yes, this happens. Unfortunately, I rarely visit Kyiv, but, fortunately, there is a lot of work. I've done about 50 gigs in the last three or four months.

- Where are you performing?

In Ukraine, Estonia, Moldova, Israel... I visited all the CIS countries.

- Are there differences in the reaction of the Estonian audience compared to, for example, Israel?

Mostly girls come to my concerts, so there is a warm welcome everywhere. I don't even know what this is connected with. Maybe I can reach their hearts, or maybe there is some special energy exchange between us...

Nikita, maybe you manage to reach people’s hearts, but don’t you think that you owe such a warm welcome to the girl audience primarily to your appearance? You do realize that he's handsome, right?

(Laughs) For this, of course, I am grateful to my mother, she is my most beautiful. I thank her so much for making girls like me. But without a good song, without music that can awaken emotions, nothing would have happened. No amount of appearance will help here. Be that as it may, people know and love artists not only for beautiful eyes. There must be something more here. Sometimes I read very sincere words in the comments... It's worth a lot when people believe you. This helps a lot in achieving the goals you set for yourself.

- And what, Nikita, is your highest goal? What do you see as the pinnacle of your creative path?

It's so far away that I don't have enough notes to reach it.

- Too abstract. Let's be more specific: Grammy, world tour, 10 platinum albums?

And the Grammy, and the world tour, and big stadiums - all this is my dream. From early childhood I imagined myself going out to big stage and people sing along with me.

- What songs did you sing in front of the mirror with your mother’s hairdryer “microphone”?

I grew up on Western music: Queen, Led Zeppelin, from pop music: Michael Jackson, Timberlake, George Michael. Another question is how it sounded in my childhood performance. I tried very hard, studied with the teacher. There was one song that I learned for four months. In the end, I finally mastered it. It was Lenny Kravitz.

- And did you have enough patience?

I was raised in such a way that you need to go towards your goal, you can’t stop. Perhaps this hardening remains from the time when I played tennis. Sports have significantly influenced my character. After all, sometimes a game of tennis can last three to four hours. My personal record is an hour and a half; I was training at an amateur level. But, believe me, it was very difficult, because tennis is not a team game, basically everything depends only on you, on the soloist. This is very energy-consuming, enormous stress - both physical and psycho-emotional. But you cultivate a sports spirit and endurance.

Listen, your mother not only gave birth to you as a handsome boy, but also provided you with a luxurious education - tennis, vocal lessons... Didn’t you take up horse riding and fencing?

(Laughs) No. This set was enough for me.

- Who is your mother?

She is a cosmetologist.

That is, everything she earned was invested in her beloved son. Not in vain on its own solo concert In Kyiv, you addressed so many warm words to your mother from the stage.

This is true. I will always remember the good that she did for me, keep the warmth that she gave me as a child. This is a man who dedicated his entire life to me, so I owe him a favor. I must say that not only my mother played an important role in my destiny. This is my aunt - my mother's sister. It so happens that she has no children, and she treats me like a son. I also call her mom. So I have two mothers in life and two in show business.

- Who are your parents in show business?

This is the one that pressed the fateful button on the “Voice of the Country” project. She was the only one of the four coaches who believed in me, and I will always remember that. Well, and whose song “And I’m floating,” sung by me, strengthened my belief that I can become famous singer. I am sure that these two moments became decisive in my life. If I hadn’t gotten into this project and then sung this song, I would have given up music. It was a period of doubt, and I was finishing university.

- What specialty?

Marketer. I never stopped playing music and played in a student band. But I began to understand that I couldn’t keep up with two birds with one stone and I still needed to decide what my path was - music or marketing?

- I would be sitting in the office right now...

Yes, it would be so. Although I can’t imagine myself in this field. Of course, I would work, perhaps I would become a professional, but happy man- No. I have something to compare with. When I went as a free student to the Institute of Culture to study as a stage director, I realized that I was in my element - acting, the basics of directing... When I was really interested in listening, watching, observing, experimenting at the lectures, I realized what I made a mistake when I decided to study to become a marketer. Then I thought that I should have a real profession in my hands, that applied education would not be superfluous. It was self-deception, as it turned out, a delusion. I endured for a year, two, three. By the fourth year, I had already gotten used to the fact that I would have to work as a marketer. It was sad. I went to Golos Krainy, realizing that there I should get an answer to my question - what next? And in fact, Caroline answered, showed me the world of show business, which I immediately fell in love with and grabbed onto it so much that nothing could get me off.

- If you had such an opportunity, would you change something in your destiny?

No. Firstly, at the university I met the guys with whom we created music group. It was mine creative family, the only joy at that moment in life. After classes, I immediately ran to the rehearsal and spent all my time there. I grew a lot with the guys, both professionally and spiritually.

I believe in fate and understand that everything in this world is not accidental. You should never regret anything. Any mistake is made so that a person can then analyze it and draw conclusions. This is the only way to gain experience. I wouldn't change anything in my life.

Tell us about your happiest moments in life? When did you realize that you were absolutely happy? I already understood about “The Voice”.

When, as a child, I learned one of the first songs and performed it either at school or at camp. Seeing that people liked it gave me such a rush of adrenaline!

You are talking about creativity. What if it’s about something material? A child is happy when they buy him his first phone or tablet, bicycle, or sneakers. Have you ever had such moments when you received what you had long dreamed of?

Of course, it was a bike that I was really looking forward to, and I got tired of it after two days (laughs).

-Are you even a material person? Are things important to you? Rider? Comfort?

Recently the administrator was making a new rider and asked what I would like? I say: “Pistachios.” She laughs, “Is that all that will make you happy?” In fact, I can't eat them before a show. And after the performance they are no longer there - the guys eat them up, the team is big. And so I don’t need anything else, I have everything.

- What other sacrifices do you have to make for the sake of star status?

My career took off so quickly that I had to transfer straight from the subway to planes. I had to get used to this very quickly. What “deprivations”? I was forced to give up chocolate after twelve, and this is very difficult for me. Also, I can't afford to sleep anymore extra hour. Unfortunately, in Lately I rarely see my family, but again, we all understand that this lifestyle is for my good. I talked about the fact that there is a debt to loved ones. And everything that happens to me is for the benefit of my professional development.

- Do you remember your first income? Why was it received?

For singing. I was 12 years old, I performed in open air, where the headliner was . I performed a couple of world hits by Queen and Scorpions. I remember Alexey Bolshoi praised me and said that for a 12-year-old boy I did an excellent job with such an adult repertoire. This compliment greatly encouraged me and became decisive in my desire to continue vocal training. I was paid 50 or 100 euros for the performance. But I didn’t spend them - my mother said that the first fee should remain as a keepsake, and hid them somewhere in a book. Perhaps they are still kept in the home library.

- Do you like to spend money?

Yes, I'm a terrible spender. I don't know how to save at all. In this I took after my aunt. Mom laments that I waste money and don’t know how to save it. And to be honest, I never bother about this at all. When I was a student, it used to be that I would get some money for a song in karaoke or for working part-time as an operator in a call center - and immediately with my girlfriend or friends I would go to night club. I’ll spend it all and go around without money all week again: I sit at home, read, listen to music. I know for sure: the more you spend, the more will come to you.

- Are you and your mother friends?

Yes. This is a person very close to me. I probably talk about this a lot in interviews. But all because she really made me a person. She dedicated her life to me.

Mom tried to do everything so that you did not feel left out. After all, you grew up without a father. Sorry if I touched on a topic that is painful for you.

It's OK. My story is the most common one. This is absolutely true. I don't know my father. He didn’t want a child, he abandoned me before I was born. We don’t know each other, but maybe I’ll be able to talk to him someday. At least that's what I really want. And I’m not at all offended by him. I have no anger, negativity, or hatred. Everything happened as it should have happened.

I know that he does not live here - abroad, he has a family and two twin children. So I have two brothers. I really want to meet the guys, it’s interesting to talk to them. My mother says that I am very similar to my father. I would like to look at them too. Honestly, I probably found them on Facebook. I know their first and last names. True, I can’t say for sure whether it’s them. And I'm also not sure if now is the right time to meet them.

- Did he leave when it became known that your mother was pregnant with you?

He didn’t want a child and insisted that my mother have an abortion.

“I’m sure if he had known in advance that such a wonderful boy would be born, everything would have been different.”

It was my mother's decision. She did not accept her father’s ultimatum: either he or the child. They quarreled over this and the father left. And soon he moved abroad altogether. I once met with good friend father, he greeted me very cordially! And he said: “If father saw you now, he would want to change everything.”

This man offered to help me talk on the phone with my father. But I was 15 years old, and I was not ready to communicate. Difficult age. I doubt I could have a normal conversation with him. Even now I am not sure that I will be able to construct a dialogue correctly. It should happen spontaneously.

- Has your mother communicated with him all these years?

She called him once when I was a teenager. It was hard for us financially, we didn’t have enough money, and my mother asked my father for help - he is a fairly wealthy man, a successful doctor, he has his own business. But he refused. He said: “You had a chance for everything to be fine, you didn’t use it. Now solve your problems yourself." That is, he didn’t mind the money, it was just a matter of principle - to punish his mother for disobedience.

- I know that you spent your entire childhood in Spain. How did you get there?

I lived in Spain from the age of 3. It was my aunt’s initiative who wanted me to know the language. And indeed, I spoke Spanish as if it were my native language. After all, on one of my visits I lived in Spain for eight months. For several years in a row I was sent to the same family. They didn’t have children of their own, and they treated me like one of their own. At some point they wanted to keep me. They called my mother, said that they loved me, convinced that I would be better off with them, because it was difficult for her to raise a child alone. Moreover, I added fuel to the fire: I once again flew to Kyiv and started whining that I wanted to go back. Right in Boryspil he said that it was bad here and I would happily return to Spain. Mom burst into tears and had a very strong fight with her aunt. After all, it was her idea that I go to Spain to learn the language. In a word, one fine year I didn’t fly anywhere - my mother cut off all communication with the Spanish family.

But again: everything happens as it should happen. I was destined to be born - I was born. Destined to stay in Ukraine - and here I am. Who knows what would have happened to me if my mother had made a completely different decision at one time... But I understand the value of this chance and appreciate even more all the benefits that I receive from life today. I am ready to fight every second for myself, my loved ones and friends and to thank every day for the fact that it has come.

Tatiana Vityaz

Everything you wanted to know and a little more.

EG: In your interviews, you said that in addition to vocals, you also played tennis professionally. How did it happen that music lessons took over? Was there any crucial moment, when did you realize that you wanted to devote yourself to music?

Nikita: Music came into my life when I turned 10. These were vocal lessons with a teacher who instilled in me a boundless love for vocal art. He taught me to feel, experience and understand the song. From that moment on, tennis training faded into the background, and music world completely absorbed my interests. I set my priorities: singing is what I do best, and I am going to devote all of myself to this activity.

EG: Your video “Drunk Sun” already has more than 3 million views on YouTube! And it's enchanting! Congratulations! Did you yourself expect such success?

Nikita: I was over the moon when I found out who would direct my video. I understood that there was no one better than Alan Badoev. As for the number of views, I am sure that this work has great potential. So something else will happen.

EG: By the way, how did you like working with Alan Badoev? They write that he contacted you himself, and even shot a video without a fee? How did this happen?

Nikita: Alan called my producer Oleg Bodnarchuk with the words: “I will be offended if it’s not me who shoots the video for this song!” Later, in one of his interviews, answering the question why he worked with us without a fee, he said the following: “I’m pleased to be at the origins of truly talented person, the future bright star." I will remember this phrase for the rest of my life! Of course for me it is great gift fate.

EG: How do you feel when fans approach you on the street? Do you remember the very, very first time when someone recognized you and asked for your autograph?

Nikita: Of course, this is very pleasant and inspiring! When a random passerby came up to me for the first time to take a photo, I was so confused that I refused her joint photo and quickly left. I never found a logical explanation for this action. It probably happened out of habit.

EG: Do you think you are mentally prepared for resounding success? After all, with the advent of popularity, everything in life changes. Do you like feeling like a star?

Nikita: To be honest, I never thought about it. The only thing I care about is writing new hits, releasing the first mini-album, releasing it in i Tunes is scheduled for February 25th. But I’m planning the premiere of my big album on May 18, my birthday. On this day we will give big concert in Kyiv. The idea to celebrate this event in this way did not come spontaneously. I would like to thank all the people who were there at different stages of my life. My successes became possible precisely thanks to their contribution to my development as an artist, and most importantly as a person. There is no room in my head for other thoughts right now.

EG: You are always busy filming, touring, but do you have time for yourself? What do you do when you're not busy with work?

Nikita: I like doing sports. And sometimes dance at discos. And, of course, spend time with family and friends. You can also read an interesting book.

EG: Do you still keep in touch with the friends you had before you became famous? Did people “from the past” appear who suddenly wanted to communicate?

Nikita: I won't lie, I don't have many friends. It just so happens that I communicate with those whom I have known for more than ten years. We grew up together, we have similar life values. Everyone has their own path, but we are always sincerely happy about the victories of each of us! I feel this support and it helps me a lot. For this I will always thank my family and friends!

EG: Envious people and haters are an integral part of show business. Have such people already appeared in your life?

Nikita: There is no place for negativity in my soul. I always thought that everyone has the right to their opinion. If a person’s words are constructive, I definitely listen. If I see an outburst of unjustified aggression in my direction, I simply don’t pay attention to such comments.

EG: Your debut album is coming out on May 18th. Tell us how it was recorded, are the compositions connected by one theme (what?), where do you get inspiration for new songs?

Nikita: What is happening to me now is a real miracle. I always believed in fate, and it brought me together with Ruslan Kvinta and Oleg Bodnarchuk. We decided to record an album. In this work we are helped by such masters of their craft as the poet Vitaly Kurovsky and the arranger Mikhail Koshevoy. My debut album is the fruit of a colossal teamwork. Each of us puts a piece of ourselves into this process. Selfless and passionate love for one's work, boundless imagination, high professionalism - all this is in our music.

EG: We read the characteristics of your zodiac sign and found out that Taurus are stubborn, but at the same time very calm and balanced. They would prefer a quiet evening at home to a noisy party. What does this say about you?

Nikita: I am fickle: I can sit quietly with my family, or I can blow up the dance floor at a party!

EG:We really like your style. Do you choose your own clothes? Or do stylists still help? For example, is your love for hats part of your image, or are you really crazy about them? In general, can you call yourself a fashionista?

Nikita: I must admit that with fashion -Industry, I speak on “you”. I've always been told that I have peculiar taste. Could even combine check and stripes. It’s good that now there are people who help me in this matter.

EG: Where do you see your career in 5 years? What would you like to achieve by this time?

Nikita: Perhaps my answer will be banal, but I live here and now and I don’t want to think five years ahead. I'm very glad to be where I am. I try to get the most out of every minute. Even now, when I answer questions, I try to find some words that make it more fun. I remember some moments from life, and from these pictures I catch in my memory good mood. I want to create, I want to make people happy at concerts! There is a lot more to come, but that will come later. What's more important is what awaits me tomorrow!

Alekseev is the stage name of the young and super-popular singer from Ukraine Nikita Vadimovich Alekseev, a former participant in the vocal TV show “The Voice of the Country”.

In 2016 he became the winner of the Ukrainian music award YUNA in the “Discovery of the Year” nomination and Russian awards"Muz-TV" and RU.TV in the categories "Breakthrough of the Year" and " Best Song" This award was brought to him by the song “Drunken Sun”, which became the first Russian-language composition to enter the Top 100 of the world Shazam chart.

Childhood and family of Nikita Alekseev

A stunningly successful vocalist whose musical composition in 2015, it stayed in 1st place on the Russian iTunes chart for a month and a half; it was born on May 18, 1993 in Kyiv. Nikita was raised by his mother, a doctor by training, and her sister, whom he often warmly called his second mother. His father was against his birth and left his mother when she refused to terminate the pregnancy.

Nikita has never seen his father, but he knows that he, a successful, wealthy doctor, lives abroad, is married and has two twin sons. Despite the circumstances preceding his birth, and the complete lack of material help from his father, the young man never held a grudge against him and dreamed of getting to know him and his brothers.

Its meteoric rise to musical Olympus the singer considers it not only his merit or the will of chance, but also a certain magic of his surname. It turns out that he got it from his grandfather Nikita’s friend at the front, who saved his life by shielding him from a bullet. In memory of him, my grandfather changed his surname - Chumak - to the surname of the deceased soldier.

IN early childhood Nikita had to travel a lot. At 6 months old, his mother took him to Chita for two years, then returned with her son to the Ukrainian capital. From the age of three, now on the initiative of an enterprising aunt, he was periodically sent to visit a Spanish family to study foreign language. Once he spent about 8 months with “foster parents” who did not have children of their own.

As a result, he spoke Spanish as well as in native language, A married couple wanted to adopt him. But Nikita’s mother, of course, was against this turn of events, although he himself (to her horror) did not want to return home - the Spanish family treated him like their own child.

IN school years he played tennis for five years, which contributed to his harmonious physical development, improved coordination, rhythm, and cultivated the will to win. These qualities also came in handy in music, which came into his life at the age of ten, when Nikita began attending vocal lessons with a well-known teacher in professional circles, Konstantin Pon. The teacher helped him develop his performing skills, instilled a subtle musical taste, a love for the classics of world rock and high-quality pop music.

As a teenager, Nikita, dreaming before going to bed, often imagined himself on stage in the spotlight in front of an applauding audience. And he did everything possible to achieve his dream: he tried to get to Junior Eurovision, organized the rock group “Mova” (translated from Ukrainian language"Speech").

Once, the singer recalled, when he was 12 years old, he was preparing to perform with the song “We are the champions” British group Queen, and his mother gave him incredible white trousers especially for the concert. And in the height of his feelings, he rode them on his knees on the mastic-covered parquet floor of the stage and hopelessly ruined them.

After graduating from school, he chose a specialty that, as it seemed to him then, would allow him to have Fixed salary and support his family - he began studying to become a marketer. From his first year, in parallel with his studies, he worked part-time in call centers and in a karaoke bar. Despite his workload, he could not give up music - after about six months, he and his friends put together another rock band. In addition, he attended the Kiev Institute of Culture as a free listener.
