Eros ramazzotti. Two loves of Eros Ramazzotti Latest news about Eros Ramazzotti

Eros Ramazzotti was born in 1963 in Rome, in the Cinecittà district (the center of Italian cinema) - a place “where it is easier to dream than to think about reality.” As a child, he occasionally starred in crowd scenes of films, dreaming, however, of becoming famous singer. He was inspired to such dreams by his father Rofoldo, who worked as a construction painter, but at one time recorded several songs.

At the end high school, Ramazzotti enters the conservatory, but does not pass the selection, and therefore enrolls in accounting courses. His “school career” does not last long. All Eros thinks about is music, and in his second year he leaves high school.
At the age of 18, Eros successfully debuted at the young talent competition “Voci Nuove di Castrocaro” in the Italian town of Castrocaro, and reached the final with the song “Rock of the 80s”. Then he eclipsed all the “young talents”. This allowed him to sign his first contract with the young DDD label. Eros moves to Milan and lives in the house of a record company. Subsequently, his brother Marco and mother Raffaella move to Milan. In 1982, Ramazzotti released his first single, “Ad Un Amigo” (“One Buddy”).
The first triumph accompanies Eros at the Sanremo festival in 1984. Then the singer performed the song “Terra promessa” (“Promised Land”). The song is heard throughout Europe: record company introduces Eros as an international singer and distributes the recording simultaneously in Italian and Spanish.
It was difficult to mistake such popularity for an accident. By that time, even the signature “Eros Ramazzotti” became the singer’s trademark, which began to be placed on all his recordings. Eros has his own team: Piero Cassano composes the music, Adelio Cogliati writes the songs, and Celzo Valli arranges.

In 1985, Eros again participated in the Sanremo Festival, and this time took sixth place with the song “Una storia importante” (“An Important Story”), a song from his debut album “Cuori agitati” (“Worrying Heart”). Subsequently, the single “Una storia importante” sells millions of copies in France alone, and then becomes a European hit.
In 1986, Ramazzotti released his second album “Nuovi eroi” (“ New hero") and wins at the Sanremo festival with the song "Adesso tu" ("Now you").
Third album in just three years: in 1987, Eros released the disc "In certi momenti" ("A certain moment"), which includes the song "La luce buona delle stelle" ("Pleasant star Light"), sung in a duet with Patsy Kensit (and this is already a confession from a professional).
At the same time, Eros went on a nine-month tour, during which he was seen by millions of fans. His disc “In certi momenti” exceeded all expectations in popularity - it sold 3 million copies worldwide!
The number of his fans increased even more after the release of the mini-album “Musica è” in 1988. This album is remembered for the characteristic song of the same name, in which Eros did a particularly excellent job of lyrical motifs. It was this song that became the culmination of the final recognition of Ramazzotti’s talent.
In 1990, the presentation of his fifth album, “In ogni senso” (“All the Feelings”), was attended by 200 journalists. The head of The American record company, Cleve Davis, captivated by Ramazzotti's talent, invites the singer to perform a concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Ramazzotti becomes the first Italian singer to perform on such a prestigious stage.
After this performance, Eros went on an extended tour, which ended towards the end of 1991 with the release of the album "Eros In Concert". The presentation of the album took place on December 4, 1991 in Barcelona in front of 20,000 spectators and was broadcast throughout the world. The concert was sponsored by the governments of Italy and Spain, and all proceeds went to charity.
The years 1993 and 1994 were rich in achievements. The album “Tutte storie” (“Every Story”) sold 6 million copies and won top positions in the European charts. Spike Lee, a cult director from New York, created a video for the single “Cose della vita” - the song most famous to domestic music lovers. The European tour “Tutte storie” becomes the most important of the season: on the wave of success, Eros continues a tour of 15 Latin American countries. After returning, Ramazzotti creates a trio with Pino Daniele and Giovanotti, which becomes Italy's No. 1 event. The end of 1994 was marked by a new worldwide contract with BMG International.
In the summer of 1995, Eros performed with Rod Stewart, Elton John, and Joe Cocker at the European Summer Music Festival. The following year, 1996, on May 13, Eros released the disc “Dove c’è musica” - the first disc that was created only by Ramazzotti himself and sold 7 million copies.
In October 1997, Ramazzotti's hits album "Eros" was released, which added two previously unreleased songs "Quanto amore sei" ("As long as love exists") and "Ancora un minuto di sole" ("One more minute") sunlight"). The recordings of the songs were updated with fresh performances, and especially notable were “Musica è”, sung in a duet with Andrea Bocelli, and “Cose della vita-Can’t Stop Thinking Of You” in a duet with Tina Turner.
In 1998, Ramazzotti tours South America, United States, and Europe. In May, he participates in the Pavarotti and Friends festival, where, together with Pavarotti, he performs the song “Se bastasse una canzone” (“If one song is enough”) from the 1990 album. In the same year, Eros released the album “Eros Live”.
In March 1999, Ramazzotti was awarded with a prize Echo Award in Hamburg as "Best Foreign Singer".

The album features work with prestigious producers such as Trevor Horn and Rick Nowels, as well as the results collaboration with Celzo Valli and Claudio Guidetti. The “pearl” of the album was the duet with Cher in the song “Più che puoi”.
The year 2001 was remembered for the international tour with the album “Stilelibero” and a performance from November 2 to 4 at the Kremlin Palace of Congresses in Moscow.
On May 30, 2003, the long-awaited ninth album of the same name “9” was released. The number 9 runs through all the events associated with this album. For example, the single “Un’emozione per sempre” (song No. 9 from this album) becomes a No. 1 hit in Europe and stays at the top of the chart for 9 weeks. Disc “9” ranks first on the charts for 14 subsequent weeks and remains in the TOP 100 for 95 weeks. The album "9" sold 3 million copies worldwide (of which 1.1 million copies were sold in Italy).

Eros Ramazzotti, who today, May 12, releases his new, 12th album Perfetto (“Perfect”), needs no introduction: for 30 years he has been one of the most successful Italian singers, whose unique voice is easily recognized by listeners all countries thanks to the hits Fuoco nel fuoco, Piu che puoi, Parla con me and dozens of others. Eros has 11 studio albums, 60 million copies of which were sold worldwide, 37 singles that topped the world charts, duets with famous performers - Cher, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Ricky Martin, Anastasia. Listening to his songs, you understand that it is no coincidence that his parents named him after the god of love: all the songs of Eros Ramazzotti, written over the years of his career, are filled with this feeling.

Now it seems that the success of Eros Ramazzotti is something logical and certain, but in fact talented musician It wasn't easy to get to the top. He was born into a simple family of a worker and housewife, Rodolfo and Raffaella Ramazzotti, and at the age of five he first picked up a guitar. Thanks to his father, an amateur pianist, Eros with early years started writing his own songs. After school, he tried to enter the conservatory, but did not pass the competition and was forced to take accounting courses. Nevertheless, music was still the main activity in his life: Eros participated in music competitions, at one of which he was noticed by representatives of the Italian record label DDD and offered to the young singer release the first single Ad Un Amico.

In 1984, Eros took part in music festival"San Remo" with the song Terra Promessa and became the winner in the "Debutants" category. The composition, whose title translates from Italian as “Promised Land,” was released throughout Europe. This was the beginning of Eros Ramazzotti's confident path to international success.

In 1998, Eros married for the first time - to the Swiss model and actress Michelle Hunziker, who, even before the wedding, on December 5, 1996, gave birth to the singer’s first daughter, Aurora. In 2002, the marriage of Eros and Michelle broke up, and the musician for a long time was opposed to official relationships - until he met his second love, model Marika Pellegrinelli, with whom he married on June 6, 2014. On August 3, 2011, the couple had a daughter, Raffaela Maria, and on March 14 of this year, Eros Ramazzotti became a father for the third time - Marika gave him a son, who was named Gabrio Tullio.

The birth of a son is not the only thing happy event in the singer's life for Lately. Today, May 12, Eros Ramazzotti released the twelfth studio album Perfetto, which is already available for download on iTunes. On the eve of the release, HELLO.RU called the musician and talked to him about the new record, fatherhood and changes in life.

Eros, we were looking forward to your new album. What inspired you to create it?

This is a special, very happy period in my life and career, and, of course, all the positive emotions associated with the wedding and fatherhood are reflected in my album. Even though my son is only two months old and his night wakings mean that my wife and I get very little sleep, we are very happy. My new compositions are a reflection on the situation in which I am now.

Why did you choose the title for your album?Perfetto (translated from Italian as “Perfect”)? Is this how you describe the moment in life that you are experiencing now?

Quite the opposite - I use this word with an ironic overtone. Nothing in our lives is perfect, including me, my family and my music. Many people, upon hearing the title of the album, assume that I meant that I had achieved some kind of artistic perfection, but in fact this is not the case. I take a humble position and make fun of my music and my life experience which I have accumulated for long years careers. This is the difference between Perfetto and other albums.

What has changed over the years in you and your character? And what remains the same?

Oddly enough, I began to feel more confident on stage - this was not always the case. In general, the fact that my musical career has been going on for thirty years now inspires me to continue writing music and actively developing as an artist - in this sense, I am constantly changing. But in some aspects I don’t change at all - for example, I have always tried to be respectful towards other people and maintain a distance in front of the public.

I also know that you have never refused anyone an autograph. This is true?

Yes, I've always loved interacting with fans, signing records and all that. However, recently one problem has appeared - selfies. There are days when you don't look great, but someone posts a selfie of you and everyone sees that you don't look great. You see, the artist sometimes spends whole year looking for the right album cover, and then someone takes a bad selfie with it and it goes viral all over the world within a minute! (laughs)

Yes, that's for sure. Eros, tell us how you came to success? As far as I know, this path has not been easy.

Yes, but I didn't start my music career to achieve enormous success. I loved music and was happy with everything it took me to, even if it didn't give me new opportunities. I was a laid back and dedicated guy and just did what I liked. Then, when success came to me and I began to collaborate with famous record labels, of course, as a young musician, I was very inspired. But at the same time, I was never focused on the marketing side of things.

When you were taking your accounting course, did you really think you could become an accountant?

No, this was completely different from my dream. After school, I tried to enter the conservatory, but I was not accepted, and I had to take accounting courses to get an education. However, all I ever dreamed about was music. Accounting courses are nothing more than a safety net. Now I don’t even remember about it.

Eros, let's talk a little about personal things. Just recently your son was born - how did you feel becoming a dad for the third time?

It was an amazing emotion! It is especially important for a man to have a son, so I was incredibly happy that I finally had a boy. Of course, this does not mean that I single out any of my children - I love them all equally and am around them much more often than many people think. People think that if I'm an artist, that means I travel around the world all the time and am hardly ever at home. But in reality, I try to be around my family as often as possible. I am devoted to my children and it is important for me to raise each of them as special people.

You said that it is extremely important for you that work and personal life are not in conflict. How do you manage to maintain a balance between these areas of life?

Personal life always comes first for me, my family is more important than anything else. But at the same time, of course, my career is also important to me - after all, I have contracts that I must follow. I think the reason I manage to maintain a balance between work and family is because my wife and I have created a very positive and supportive environment at home. Maintaining it requires constant effort from Marika and me, but we don’t complain - we understand that everything we have is a great privilege.

Having crossed the milestone of 50 years, you felt that your life had begun new stage? Have you looked at some things from a new perspective?

Well, first of all, I, of course, see physical changes(laughs). But my spirit is still the same, it only gets stronger. I'm inspired by Rod Stewart - he's 70 and still going strong! As for the new outlook on life - yes, I learned to look at many things more positively, live day by day and appreciate every moment. In my opinion, in the current world situation there is no other way.

Are you planning a tour in support of the album? Are you planning to visit Russia?

Yes, I will have a concert in Moscow on April 5 next year, after which I will go on a ten-day tour of Russia - I will perform in St. Petersburg and several other cities. I haven’t been to your country for a couple of years, so I’m looking forward to new concerts!

Without giving up hope of realizing his musical career, in 1981 he took part in Voci Nuove with the original song “Rock 80”, where he reached the finals, thanks to which he was noticed by the producers of the DDD company, who offered the singer a contract for the release of the first single Ad un amiso, became successful.

He gave a sold-out concert at the famous Radio City Music Hall in New York, making Eros the first Italian to set such a record.

In 1991, Ramazzotti released a double album - Eros in concert, and then a whole series of albums consisting of ballads with soft melodies and words in Spanish and Italian. One of the most successful in Eros's career was the disc Tutte storie, which ended up at the top of the European charts. And his hit Cose della vita won the MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin.

In subsequent years, such successful records were released as: Dove c'è musica, Eros, Stilelibero, Cose della vita, 9, Calma apparente, e², Ali e radici, Eros Live World Tour 2009/2010, Noi and Noi Due.

Over the course of many years musical career Eros has gained fame in almost all countries of the world, especially his work is appreciated in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela and Spanish-speaking countries.
