In the last 3 days of winter and the first day of spring 2017, the premiere screening of the Diesel Show project will take place in Israel for the first time. In anticipation of the tour, the editors of the Glamur website talked with some of the project participants.

Evgeniy Gashenko Tell us how the actors got together in “Diesel Show”? Egor Krutogolov: When we decided to do a television concert and realized that it was time to expand the author’s and cast, we began to take a closer look at those who were in the top today. And a fortunate coincidence occurred when we were invited to a certain humorous concert in the October Palace, where Marina Poplavskaya and Zhenya Smorigin performed. We looked at the reaction of the audience and realized that these were our guys. Later, Zhenya suggested that we take Vika Bulitko to the team, because they had several together

. At that time, Victoria worked at the Theater on Podol, where I honestly sat through 1 act, then left. Because the play was not for me, let’s say, but I was inspired by her work and made her an offer to collaborate. Then I brought my friend Oleg Ivanica. When the need to find a pretty blonde became ripe, Yana Glushchenko appeared in the “Diesel Show”. Yana and I had an episode in the TV series “Taxi”, where she played my girlfriend. We even had a kiss! And, probably, this is how it became etched in my memory and in my teeth. So, when I needed to find a cheerful blonde, Yana was the first to come to mind. This is how our team came together.

I received a message from Yegor that he had an offer for me. I sat in the Ukrtelefilm studio and simply froze. Afterwards I even ended up in the hospital. But all the time this SMS and the thought warmed me: what does he want? Well, maybe take part in some kind of sketch-com... I didn’t know that such a thing would attack me. At first there was the KVN team “Gang Diesel”, and then we decided that we didn’t need a gang.

Evgeny Smorigin: We just want to make strong, creative humor and “Diesel Show” is the most appropriate name.

If you imagine the “Diesel Show” as a dish, then it is obvious that it contains many ingredients for success. But which ones exactly, please list?

Evgeniy Gashenko Well, I will compare it with my favorite dish - Olivier salad. Indeed, all the ingredients are very different and, if you lay out these ingredients separately, you will think: “Lord, how can this even work!? To be so delicious!?” But when you connect in correct proportion– which is important – it turns out to be mega-delicious. Peas are our Evgeny Gashenko, because they have an explosive character, especially in combination with other products - with milk, for example. I guess it's potatoes. Well, who has the balls? Well, Oleg Ivanica will be associated with eggs. Our pickled cucumber will be Vika Bulitko - not because she is pregnant (laughs), but because it is a folk product and loved by everyone. Our sausage will be Yana Glushchenko, our Smorigin will be a carrot, and Marina Frantsevna Poplavskaya will cover it all with mayonnaise. And without a glass of vodka, what kind of mayonnaise is it!? Vodka will be Alexander Berezhok.

The Diesel Show has a simple rule: “A lot good humor, music and no politics." What audience is your humor aimed at?

Evgeniy Gashenko I believe that politics is the worst evil on earth and the less of it there is, the less we talk about it, the better it will be for everyone. Everyone will have more fun.

Each of you has several characters. Tell us about how you prepare for your performances and what the process of creating sketches is like. How problematic is it to switch between characters in one concert? After all, each role has its own character and it’s probably difficult to move from character to character so quickly?

Evgeniy Gashenko There is a chief editor, Alexey Blanar, and several groups of authors who initially prepare, search for, and come up with ideas, themes and concepts for the issues. Nowadays, the “Diesel Show” can no longer have any kind of jokes - they must be relevant, tied to some kind of news occasion. Humor should be relevant, a cheerful reaction to some phenomenon. Then comes the search for a humorous engine, a humorous move. Then jokes are written. And the dialogues are written in the most last moment. Moreover, the artists also joke with a serious face. We don’t make jokes, we don’t make faces – that’s not how we cause laughter. A comic actor needs to play almost tragically in order to get humor. And we try not even to play, but to live the role, as it is described in the books of the classics, the same Stanislavsky.

Guys, watching your performances and the reaction of the audience, I can say that you are all very talented. What is real talent? Is it a gift, an obligation to someone, or a superpower that makes you a superhero?

Evgeniy Gashenko This is a gift, but a gift that requires constant care: if you do not nurture it and work with it, then everything will wither.

Evgeniy Gashenko: People are born and become artists, and once they try, they remain forever. I know a lot about this because I don’t have special education. I am constantly learning and growing. I wouldn’t trade the stage and my success, the love of fans, applause and my roles on the Diesel Show stage for anything.

To feel the jokes of the Diesel Show team, you need to go to the concert. These are not my words. That's what everyone says. Explain to Israeli viewers why they should attend your show in Israel?

Evgeny Smorigin: Because our humor is popular and understandable to everyone. After all, in any country in the world there is a mother-in-law and a son-in-law, for example! We are close to the people, like a tractor running on diesel fuel. Our humor works in Ukraine, and TV ratings show this. And if they laugh in Ukraine, then they will laugh in Israel, I’m sure!

As far as I know, the Diesel Show's repertoire includes jokes about Jews. Are there any exclusive preparations specifically for Israel? Maybe “Diesel Show” will speak Hebrew?

Evgeniy Gashenko Well, we won’t reveal the preparations. But let me announce that we are going to Israel with the latest program"Spring is funny." It won’t be shown on TV yet, it won’t be on the Internet. That is, we are going with the premiere! And each of us speaks Hebrew at least a little. It’s just better not to say it from the stage (laughs).

How do you plan to spend your free time from concerts in Israel? Are there any places you are planning to visit?

Evgeniy Gashenko We have little time. We rely on our organizers. We naturally want to see everything they can take us to. Of course, I want to plunge myself into the Dead Sea and see how I don’t drown in it.

Visit holy places, walk along familiar streets. Although usually there is no time at all on tour, I hope I will be able to do everything planned.

History of the project

Year of birth creative association“Diesel” can be called 2006. Then the Nikolaev team “Diesel” wins the national KVN competition and decides to start own career. In 2013, team members began collaborating with the ICTV channel, which aired their show “Men’s Club.” Over time, television crews invited the guys to create a larger-scale project, which they called “Diesel Show.”

Actor E. Krutogolov and screenwriter M. Shinkarenko invited A. Blanar, who at one time played in the KVN team “Three Fat Men,” to their project. By that time he already had extensive experience working on TV.

Over time, A. Blanar became the team’s producer, and the project was recognized as the best humorous program on Ukrainian TV. In 2016, the creators of the program earned the highest award - “Teletriumph”. The program received such high praise for its four-hour New Year's episode. Now “Diesel Show” can compete on equal terms with such a popular program as “Evening Quarter”.

All people are different and have different tastes and sense of humor. The actors of the Diesel studio try to make the audience laugh without going into politics. Of course, there are some sketches that make fun of officials, but the performances of the artists have a more social orientation. As the producer of “Diesel Show” said, the artists know about love Ukrainian viewer laugh at politicians. At the same time, they understand that the Ukrainian audience is already tired of the “mouse fuss” that reigns in the power structures. The humorous component of television on various popular channels today belongs to KVN graduates. Former teams with different “characters” of humor they create projects that can make any audience laugh. “Diesel Show” is such a project, the actors of which amuse viewers on one of the Ukrainian TV channels. Let's take a closer look at who they are and how they came together.

How it all began

The backbone of the project was the KVN team from Nikolaev “Gang Diesel”, which initially created the “Men’s Club” program for the Ukrainian channel ICTV. But when they wanted something on a larger scale, the team’s actor Yegor Krutogolov, together with screenwriter Mikhail Shinkarenko, offered cooperation as a consultant to Alexey Blanar - also former member KVN and chief editor of many popular television projects. Collaboration began to quickly bear fruit: ratings grew steadily, and in 2016 the humorous program “Diesel Show” was recognized best project according to the Teletriumph award. The scale of the program can be assessed by the number of people creating it; today the show’s team is about 120 people.

Egor Krutogolov

One of the creators and leading actor of the program was born in 1980 in the city of Nikolaev, where he subsequently graduated from the Peter Mogila Humanitarian University. At his alma mater and became addicted to KVN, which gave him a start in life, he was the captain of the “Gang Diesel” team. In 2006 he got married, his wife Ekaterina is a photographer by profession. Together they are raising a six-year-old son, Lev. Egor's hobby is sports; he is a candidate master of sports in tennis.

In the Diesel Show, actors play various characters. The favorite types of viewers performed by Krutogolov are: traffic cop, thieves and pilot Gurgen Gurgenovich.

In his spare time, the actor enjoys cooking, fishing, go-karting, and horse riding. Married to brand manager and ex-model Alena.

In the show, he was remembered by the audience primarily in the roles of a policeman, an office employee and an alcoholic.

Evgeniy Gashenko

Another member of the Nikolaev “gang” was born in 1981. Graduated from the Nikolaev city branch of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy. In 2013, he married Olga, a clothing designer, and in 2016, the couple had a son, Ivan.

In the program he brilliantly transforms into various images, but viewers especially love him in the role of “office plankton”, a policeman and a customs officer.

Evgeniy Smorigin

Born in 1979 in Minsk, where he subsequently graduated from the Pedagogical Faculty of BSU. He also comes from KVN (he was one of the most bright participants team "ChP, Minsk"). In 2007 he married his girlfriend Lydia, and has since lived in Kyiv. The Smorigins are raising three children: Alexei, Lisa and Sasha. Evgeniy loves to cook, as well as knitting and cross-stitching.

Due to his short stature, naive appearance and natural stutter, Evgeniy looks defenseless. Therefore, he is very convincing in the role of an obedient husband, “downtrodden” by his own domineering wife. Smorigin also brilliantly plays the role of an old grandmother and an honest policeman.

Oleg Ivanitsa

Born in 1979. Higher education received from the Institute of International Business of the Ternopil Academy, as well as the acting studio “Black Square”. Almost his entire life is occupied with creativity. In addition to participating in the Diesel Show, the actor has 16 roles in films and TV series. Not married, has two children: Olya (17 years old) and Ostap (9 years old). Loves water sports.

The key roles in the project are a doctor, a passionate lover and a policeman.

Marina Poplavskaya

The most colorful representative of the fair half of the “Diesel Show” actors. KVN fans remember her as the legendary captain of the “Girls from Zhitomir” team. Yana Glushchenko did not come to the show from KVN. The authors were looking for a blonde for two sentences, and the choice fell on her. Since then, she has been working fully and successfully in the project. In addition to the initial image of a blonde, Yana brilliantly plays the roles of a representative of an ancient profession and a boss.

Olga Harutyunyan

This actress recently joined the Diesel Show team. She studied at the University. Karpenko-Kary. And a few years later, this same friend Tanya gets married, and she invites me and Katya to play the roles of best man and groomsmen. So we met the next day, and somehow things started happening.” According to Berezhok, he and his wife used to have the whole month planned out with some interesting and important events: "First kiss day, flower day, men's and women's days, etc. Last couple Naturally, we don’t celebrate the months after Gleb’s birth. Only the 13th is the day we met, and on September 13 our son was born. On this day, I try to make sure that fresh flowers appear in the house. We also try to travel - at least twice a year." As Alexander admits, he and his wife made many attempts to have a child: "We went through a lot of all kinds of research. But everything turned out to be much more banal - a child is given when it is needed."

I remembered my yard childhood and climbed into the entrance window, opened the door for her. Her eyes lit up with interest, and we agreed to meet the next day on the first date, we went to Obolonskaya embankment. On the way, I took champagne and, in order not to clink glasses with plastic ones, bought two beautiful... . faceted glasses! And Olya offered to buy ice cream - it could turn out to be a delicious cocktail. And we first put the ice cream in the glasses, and I began to pour champagne on top - it was a gross mistake. The next day I came to Olya’s work. with a bouquet of flowers and a small gift. I packed the same glass with a note: “The most ordinary looking glass, but so many wonderful memories!” This is how our family began the tradition of making surprises for each other and collecting tender notes.” The couple have been together for 5 years and have a 10-month-old son, Ivan.

With his wife Lida Evgeniy Smorigin We've been together for over 9 years now. The couple has three children: 7-year-old Lesha, 5-year-old Lisa and 3-year-old Sasha. “I met Lida in a very interesting way - she was my neighbor. She lived in the house where I rented one of the first apartments in Kyiv. And after a while she moved behind my wall,” recalls Zhenya. “She is from Poltava, by profession. She came to build career in Kyiv, graduated from Narkhoz. And most importantly, when we met, she didn’t know who I was, in the sense that I play in KVN and that I’m shown on TV.” According to Smorigin, he was present at the birth of his children all three times, and now he often puts them to bed. “Our family has a wonderful tradition - every Christmas, the children and I learn carols, and they go to the neighbors and “sow” them! Last year, the children learned carols for a whole week - and that’s five verses, by the way! And now on January 7, after dress rehearsal, I dressed them in angel costumes, and we went to congratulate the neighbors. The money we earned was enough for a large construction set.”
