How to draw winter with children: step-by-step description

Step 1.Prepare the background. To do this, you need to apply several strokes of blue, red, yellow, purple (can be green) paint with a wide brush. Then put white paint on the brush and stretch the color. Until the desired background is obtained, in which one tone transforms into another.

Step 2. We draw the outlines of the trees.

— Apply white paint to a round brush No. 4 or 5, and holding the brush vertically, first point out the contours of two trees in the center of the sheet (or do it using the poking method). The trees consist of three tiers in the form of a month-like figure or “cloud”. Start drawing from the bottom tier. Make the middle and upper tiers smaller relative to each other.

— Mark round “clouds” for the bushes on the sides of the trees.

— Fill using the poke method inner part each "cloud".

Step 3. Draw snow caps on the trees.

Mix white and black paint on the palette to get a light gray color and also dot it on the white “clouds” gray shade(shadow on the snow caps).

Step 4. We draw trunks and branches of trees and bushes.

Using brush No. 1 or 2, draw thin lines on tree trunks between the tiers of the crown and trunks of shrubs.

Paint the tree trunks with black paint, carefully so as not to touch the crowns.

Draw branches from the trunk.

Step 5. We draw snow on tree trunks and snowdrifts.

  • Use white paint to apply thin lines along the trunks of trees and shrubs.
  • Under the trees, outline the contours of the snowdrifts with a No. 5 brush and fill the “drifts” with white paint.

Step 6. Drawing falling snow.

Spray the finished drawing with white paint, brushing it over the brush, simulating falling snow. How to draw falling snow “spray” You are shown in the photo.

Dear Colleagues! This master class is designed for children aged 5-6 years, but if desired, it can also be used in classes with younger schoolchildren. The work is done without using a pencil.

Before starting work, let's look at photographs of a winter dawn with the children. Special attention let's look at the colors of the sky. What the sun looks like when it peeks over the horizon. What colors does snow have at dawn?

Sequence of work:

We place the sheet horizontally. We cover the background of the sky with light blue up to the middle of the sheet so that it is lighter in the center and a little darker at the edges.
Let it dry well.

Meanwhile, fill in the ground background. Add a drop of blue, purple and yellow to white. We draw snowdrifts.

After the sky background has dried, draw a white round spot on it - the center rising sun. It needs to be drawn closer to the horizon line, since in winter the sun does not rise high.

Svelo - yellow draw in a circular motion around the white spot.

Add white and just a little ruby or red. We make a smooth transition to light blue.

Using a thin brush we outline the outlines of the houses. I would like to note here that the composition may be different for everyone.
And we remind children that distant houses will be smaller, and nearby ones will be larger in size.

Now we need to mark three identical windows on each house. This can be difficult for preschoolers to do, so I offer this option.
First, on the rectangular facade of the house, we draw two horizontal lines that define the upper and lower boundaries of the windows and divide them into three parts with vertical lines.

And then we paint it brown with the addition of white. You can also draw one window on the roof facade.

This is how we complete all the houses.

With older children, you can draw logs on the houses. We paint the windows yellow and dark brown.

We draw trees. The distant trees are smaller, with light blue and light purple flowers. And the tree on the right, which is closer, will be drawn larger and light brown. In the foreground, at the bottom of the sheet, we depict small blades of grass and bushes.

If desired, add Christmas trees. We draw the frames in the windows with dark brown.

We enliven the picture by drawing silhouettes of birds, a cat or a cat, and of course, a lot of snow: on the roofs and windows of houses, on trees, fences.
“Powder” with fine snow using the “spray” technique.
The work is completed.

The finished painting can be framed, decorated in the interior, or used as a gift for family and friends.

Christmas trees. PVA glue and watercolor. Master class for teachers on drawing (designed for two classes)

Master class for teachers on drawing (designed for two lessons)
Application:
Gift, exhibition, competition work
Target:
Getting to know different ways drawing spruce
Tasks:
1 - development of compositional skills, fantasy and imagination
2- mastering the technique of working with glue and watercolors
3- fostering love for native nature.
Materials:
A3 or A4 paper, PVA glue, round pony brushes No. 3-4, salt and watercolor paints.
Preliminary work:
1. View a presentation with photographs of snow-covered fir trees, examining their silhouettes and the color scheme of the works.

2. Poems about Christmas trees - listening, learning.
3. Drawing fir trees on sand, salt or glass.

Introduction
There are several methods of so-called “barrier” painting, when contours become borders and barriers to spreading paint. The most commonly used color is black. It is clearly visible and work using black or brown outlines becomes bright and decorative. Stained glass contours are used not only for glass and porcelain, but also for working on paper.

Painting combined with volume gives an interesting visual effect. Artists working oil paints, apply textured, bold strokes protruding above the plane of the canvas. In addition, to obtain more volume, they can use acrylic putty, applying it with a palette knife, syringe, or other devices.

And we'll take PVA.
PVA is a universal glue. Use it different ways(including for drawing). Sprinkling PVA with salt, sand, various cereals, eggshells, crumbs from dried leaves, young artists can get original “fluffy” lines. Our lines will remain translucent, and this will give the landscape a slightly hazy, mysterious look.
Instructions
PVA glue comes in different consistencies. It is difficult to draw too thick, as well as too liquid. Before use, shake it well several times. Hold the tube vertically, without tilting, squeezing slightly.

Progress

1. Draw a horizon line, snowdrifts, and a path.
2. The trunks of the fir trees are outlined, the composition is specified.
3. The main branches are drawn to the left and right of the trunk, and then the branches hanging down.
4. Needles are drawn on each branch. Snowflakes (or stars and the moon) appear in the sky.

5. The drawing “rests” until the glue dries completely. The PVA turns from white to transparent, but the volume remains. Drying time is overnight. The next day, work can continue.
6
Now you need to decorate the drawing with watercolors. We choose the desired color, compose the colors on the palette and decorate. There are several options.
The simplest: blue sky, green spruces, blue snow
Pink sky, blue spruce, blue snow
Light purple sky, dark purple fir trees, pale purple snow,
And so on…
The most advantageous option is mixing several shades for each fragment of the picture. You can also sprinkle salt on the sky.

Children's works:

Literary application:

Natalya Filimonova.
Christmas tree.

A Christmas tree in summer is just a Christmas tree:
If you touch a branch, it hurts your fingers,
The trunk is entwined with cobwebs,
The fly agaric is standing below.
That's when winter comes,
The tree seems to come to life:
It will fluff up in the cold,
Will straighten up under the winds,
Not prickly at all
Like a fragrant flower.
It doesn't smell like dew or honey,
The tree smells like New Year!

I. Tokmakova.
Ate.

Ate at the edge of the forest -
To the top of the sky -
They listen, they are silent,
They look at their grandchildren.
And the grandchildren-Christmas trees -
Thin needles
At the forest gate
They lead a round dance.

O. Vysotskaya
Herringbone

Not a leaf, not a blade of grass!
Our garden became quiet.
And birches and aspens
The boring ones stand.
Only one Christmas tree
Cheerful and green.
Apparently she's not afraid of the cold,
Apparently she is brave.

I. Tokmakova
"Silently the spruce sways..."

The spruce sways quietly.
The old year is ending.
It's good in the forest in winter,
The forest is decorated with fringe,
The ringing snow sparkles,
The frost turns silver.
The spruce sways quietly.
The old year is ending.
Laughter, fun, games, jokes,
Songs, joy, dancing!
We all have a good life
In a New Year's fairy tale!

I found an interesting selection on the Internet. (the most interesting, for me, is at the end))

1. Winter drawings. "Volume snow paint"

If you mix equal amounts of PVA glue and shaving foam, you will get wonderful airy snow paint. She can draw snowflakes, snowmen, polar bears or winter landscapes. For beauty, you can add glitter to the paint. When painting with this paint, it is better to first with a simple pencil outline the contours of the drawing, and then color it with paint. After some time, the paint will harden, and you will get a voluminous winter picture.

2. Winter drawings of children. Using electrical tape in children's creativity

If there is snow outside the window, you can depict it using a cotton swab.

Or use a brush to put snow on each branch.

11. Winter drawings. Drawings on the theme of winter

An interesting idea on the topic of children's winter drawings was suggested by the author of the blog Homeschool Creations. She used putty to paint snow on the transparent film. Now it can be applied to any winter pattern or appliqué, simulating falling snow. They put the film on the picture - it started snowing, they removed the film - the snow stopped.

12. Winter drawings. "New Year's lights" We would like to tell you about one interesting unconventional technology drawing. To draw New Year's garland as in the photo, you will need a sheet of thick paper of a dark color (blue, purple or black). You will also need regular chalk (the kind you use to draw on asphalt or a blackboard) and a light bulb stencil cut out of cardboard.

On a piece of paper, use a thin felt-tip pen to draw wires and light bulb sockets. Now apply the light bulb stencil to each socket in turn and outline it boldly with chalk. Then, without removing the stencil, smear the chalk on the paper using a piece of cotton wool or directly with your finger to create rays of light. You can replace chalk with colored pencil graphite chips.

It is not necessary to use a stencil. You can simply paint over the light bulbs with chalk, and then gently rub the chalk in different directions to make rays.

Using this technique, you can also draw a winter city, for example, or the northern lights.

13. Drawings winter fairy tale. Winter forest drawings

On the site already mentioned above Maam.ru you will find interesting master class on drawing winter landscapes using templates. You will only need one base color - blue, a coarse bristle brush and a white drawing sheet. When cutting out templates, use the cutting method from paper folded in half. Look how great the drawing is winter forest turned out to be the author of the picture. A real winter fairy tale!

14. Winter drawings. Drawings on the theme of winter

You are probably very eager to find out how the wonderful “marble” Christmas tree in the photo below was painted? Let's tell you everything in order...To draw this original drawing for the winter theme you will need:

Shaving cream (foam)
- watercolor paints or food coloring in green shades
- flat plate for mixing shaving foam and paints
- paper
- scraper

1. Apply shaving foam to a plate in an even, thick layer.
2. Mix paints or food coloring different shades green color with a small amount of water to make a saturated solution.
3. Using a brush or pipette, drip paint onto the surface of the foam in a random order.
4. Now, using the same brush or stick, beautifully smear the paint over the surface so that it forms fancy zigzags, wavy lines, etc. This is the most creative stage all the work that will bring pleasure to the children.
5. Now take a sheet of paper and carefully apply it to the surface of the resulting patterned foam.
6. Place the sheet on the table. All you have to do is scrape off all the foam from the sheet of paper. For these purposes, you can use a piece of cardboard.

Simply amazing! Underneath the shaving foam you'll find stunning marble patterns. The paint has time to quickly absorb into the paper; you just need to let it dry for a few hours.

15. How to draw winter. How to paint winter with paints

Concluding our review article on winter drawings for children, we want to tell you about one more in an interesting way, how you can paint winter with paints together with your child. To work you will need any small balls and a plastic cup(or any other cylindrical object with a lid).

Place a piece of colored paper inside the glass. Dip the balls in white paint. Now put them in a glass, close the lid on top and shake well. As a result, you will end up with colored paper with white streaks. Do the same colored paper with white streaks of other colors. From these blanks, cut out the details of the applique on a winter theme.
