Mikhail failed to enter the university on his first try, so he first became a student at a medical school in 1996. While studying, Galustyan joined the KVN team “Burnt by the Sun”, which was formed in the form familiar to the viewer in the winter of 1998. Having received his diploma, Mikhail was still able to pass the exams at the State University in Sochi and would eventually become a teacher. 
Because the creative activity took more and more energy, Galustyan began to have problems with attending lectures, which soon led to expulsion from the university. However, his popularity later helped him return to his alma mater.
The success of "Burnt by the Sun"
1999 was the first season that the team, then under the leadership of Ruslan Khachmamuk, spent in the KVN Major League. Together with Alexander Revva and other comrades, Galustyan took two prizes for music festival"KiViN", but for three years they never conquered the main height. 
The team decided to skip the season, but returned triumphantly in 2003, winning the championship. Then Galustyan himself was already the captain. Mikhail and the rest of the participants fell in love with the audience for their spontaneity and sometimes absurd humor; some of their numbers became KVN classics.

Childhood
Mikhail Sergeevich Galustyan was born in the resort city of Sochi on October 25, 1979. At birth, the parents named the boy Nshan.

After graduating from school in 1996, the young man applied to a medical school, choosing the specialty “paramedic-obstetrician”.

But as soon as Galustyan had to attend the birth as an assistant, he realized: medicine is not his thing.
Therefore, after graduating from college, the guy continued his education in Sochi state university tourism and resort business. There the comedian studied as a teacher of history and law.
KVN
At the university, Misha did not forget about KVN. In 1998, the guys from “Burnt by the Sun” were successful: they qualified for the Moscow KVN Major League.
But success had to be paid for - at the same time Galustyan was expelled from the educational institution for absenteeism.
The "Burnt by the Sun" team spent Major League KVN 4 seasons, during this time the guys constantly toured the country and sometimes gave several performances a day.
In 2002, Mikhail was appointed captain of Burnt by the Sun. Already next year the team became the season champion.
The newfound popularity after winning in KVN helped Galustyan solve problems with the institute - in 2003 the university agreed to accommodate the comedian, and Misha was reinstated.
