MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. The winners of the third All-Russian competition for young performers "Russian Ballet" will receive a one-year internship in the ballet troupe of one of the leading theaters in Russia: the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky or the Moscow Musical Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. This was announced on Friday at the awards ceremony.

The competition ended on the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. The founders of the show are the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Foundation for Social and Cultural Initiatives, whose president is Svetlana Medvedeva, who also headed the organizing committee of the competition.

29 final and pre-graduation students from 13 ballet schools in Russia, including the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet and the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, choreographic colleges of Perm, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, choreographic schools of Voronezh, Krasnodar and Kazan, as well as choreographic School at the Moscow State Academic Dance Theater "Gzhel" and the Moscow Choreographic School named after L. M. Lavrovsky, each performed one number from the classical ballet repertoire.

The contestants were evaluated by an authoritative jury, which included outstanding figures of ballet art. Among them are world-famous dance masters Mikhail Lavrovsky, Vyacheslav Gordeev, Marina Leonova, Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Boris Eifman and others. The jury was headed by People's Artist of the USSR, famous choreographer Yuri Grigorovich.

Winners

The winners were determined individually using a ten-point system. According to the judges' decision, third place was taken by Anna Grigorieva from the Perm State Choreographic College and Maruku Chino from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. Second place was shared by Arseny Lazarev from the Novosibirsk State Choreographic School and Camilla Mazzi from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.

The jury awarded first place to Eleonora Sevenardze and Yegor Gerashchenko from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Denis Zakharov, a student of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, also won the Grand Prix.

The educational institutions that trained the best participants in the competition were also awarded. Thus, for training third-degree laureates, a cash certificate in the amount of 50 thousand rubles will be awarded; for the second degree laureate, 75 thousand rubles will be paid, for the first degree laureates - 100 thousand rubles. The highest certificate worth 150 thousand rubles will be received by the educational institution that trained the Grand Prix winner.

According to the regulations, the Russian Ballet competition is held every two years. The current review is the third in a row. Graduate and pre-graduation students from secondary and higher vocational education institutions implementing educational programs in the field of ballet art are selected to participate in the creative competition.

This year, 29 candidates representing 13 educational institutions will compete for victory. Among them are the Academy of Russian Ballet named after A. Ya. Vaganova and the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, choreographic colleges of Perm, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, choreographic schools of Voronezh, Krasnodar and Kazan, as well as the choreographic school at the Moscow State Academic Dance Theater “Gzhel” and the Moscow choreographic school named after. L. M. Lavrovsky.

The finalists will have to perform one piece from the classical ballet repertoire. The contestants will be assessed by an authoritative jury, which includes outstanding figures of ballet art. “We continue the All-Russian competition of young performers “Russian Ballet,” said Grigorovich. “Our goals remain the same this time – to take a closer look at the students of Russian ballet schools at an early stage of their formation.”

“A little more and we will stop calling our contestants children; adult demands await them. Let the competition help them step into a new life. We will empathize, help and rejoice at them,” summed up the master.

A panel of judges headed by Grigorovich will determine the Grand Prix winner and the laureates of the first, second and third degrees (for girls and boys). Special diplomas will also be awarded: “For the pedagogical preparation of the contestant” and “For partnership.” With a unanimous decision of the jury members, the winner of the Grand Prix of the competition is given the opportunity to train in the ballet troupe of one of the leading theaters in Moscow and St. Petersburg on the terms of a fixed-term employment contract.
