We didn’t impose anything on him, it was all independent work. He came home from school, did his homework, took his briefcase and went to rehearsals. That is, by and large, if he didn’t like it initially, he, like any child, would protest: “I don’t want to do this!”

How did you feel about his decision to go to the Factory?
Irina, Vlad’s mother, and I were against it. We knew that it was psychologically difficult to be there, and we understood that at 15 years old it was difficult to endure such stress.

He just decided for himself that he would try. Vlad has always been stubborn by nature. But we never had conflicts, because more often than not we advised him on something, but he himself asked for our opinion.

Having lived together for over 20 years, we not only say the same things, we think the same things. By profession she is a stage director. How did you achieve success yourself? Tell us about your parents.
I was born in the city of Krivoy Rog, my mother was a doctor, and my father was a metallurgist - he worked at a factory all his life. My parents could not help me in any way in my direction. Undoubtedly! But if I were a slacker, I would not use the opportunities that I had, would not listen to any advice, would not be interested in anything, and as a result... at the age of 18 I would sit on my parents’ neck and do nothing. But, fortunately, I put everything on my shoulders and survived.

No, I'll figure this out myself! (Laughs.) Although I’m pleased that they really like my girlfriend. It’s great that they communicate and my significant other and I can come to my parents and feel very comfortable.

In 1996, with the same composition by Kirkorov, Vlad Sokolovsky appeared on the Morning Star project, and then at some less significant competitions. During the same period, the parents enrolled their son in the Moscow School of Arts. Vsevolod successfully passed the entrance tests. Over the next few years, the young artist studied in this educational institution classic and folk dances, and also improved his vocal skills.

In this period main passion Vlad Sokolovsky began dancing. In 2001, he appeared at the casting of the Todes studio and successfully passed the competition. Next years he traveled around Russia giving performances, however dance career didn't interfere to a young guy realize oneself as pop performer. Back in 2001, the guy recorded his first solo song “Red Up”, which became part of a promotional campaign for children’s dairy products of the same name and began to appear regularly as part of the concerts of the X-Mission group. Five years later, after one of the former soloists left this project, Vlad Sokolovsky became a full member of his father’s band.

Factory of Stars and "BiS"

On the project, Vlad met 17-year-old Margarita Gerasimovich. The guys started good friends, but it was too early to talk about romantic relationships.

After the end of "Factory", the guys continued to perform as the group "BiS". Almost immediately after its formation, this project was noted for several high-profile hits, among which the songs “Katya, take the phone”, “Ships”, as well as the composition “Yours or Nobody’s” stand out. In 2009, the musicians released the album “Bipolar World”.

Soon, Sokolovsky and Bikbaev’s collections included prizes from the “Golden Gramophone” and “Song of the Year” projects, as well as the “Muz-TV” award and many other important awards. The group was a success, the guys were already predicted the glory of the new “Hands up! ", however, in September 2010, the duo announced their breakup. They worked out the contract with Meladze and both set off on a solo voyage.

Soon his first solo songs appeared in the rotation of Russian radio stations - “Showers”, “Race”, “The World Has Gone Crazy” and some others. It is quite noteworthy that with the collapse of the BiS group, the popularity of Vlad Sokolovsky only just began to gain momentum. Already as a solo performer, the young artist received many prestigious awards (including the title of best singer of 2010 according to YES magazine), and also starred as a guest star in the Russian version of the series How I Met Your Mother.

By October 2017, the couple became parents. A daughter, Mia, was born, becoming a new meaning in life for the new parents. The baby has not yet learned to raise her head, but has already become the heroine of their blogs on Instagram and YouTube.

However, in August 2018, she made a scandalous message about divorce. It turned out that her husband was cheating on her throughout the affair. Even the birth of his daughter did not stop him. Dakota said that Sokolovsky decided to divide the property acquired during marriage, but asked fans not to throw mud at his name.
