Costumes from the game Assassin's Creed 4. Why are keys needed?

Templar armor differs in improved characteristics, appearance and its own features. They are much stronger, prettier and more reliable than Edward's other suits. In addition, they reduce damage received and are partially resistant to enemy attacks. To open it you will need to find the Templar keys by completing a special additional task, Hunting the Templars. You will need a total of 5 keys to open the cage.

Why are keys needed?

In Edward's mansion, a skeleton dressed as a Templar hangs in a locked cage. To open the cage we need keys. The armor reduces incoming damage, and it doesn’t look too bad. While searching for these keys, there is a high probability that we will stumble upon a white yagur, which is necessary to obtain an achievement, improve Edward, and also open a new cheat.

How to find the keys

You will receive the first key while completing story missions. The remaining four keys can be obtained by completing tasks of assassins in their offices. In total, we will meet 4 offices, each of which will have 4 tasks.

Offices:

  1. Starts at Opia at coordinates 327_334.
  2. Kingston: starts at Anto.
  3. Havana: starts at Ron's.
  4. Nassau: starts at the Travesse Brothers.

When you are in a city, the easiest way to find an office is by opening the map and looking for the Templar icon.
There should be no difficulties during the passage, but a few tips will not hurt you:

  1. The second mission of the Travesse Brothers is to eliminate the thieves. The easiest way to do this is to use a blowpipe. It's funny that if you use sleeping pills and don't kill the thief, when you wake up, he will forget about his evil intentions and go for a walk about his business.
  2. Travesses will also give you the task of finding the killer in a minute. The difficulty is that when you arrive at the place where it should be, you will not be able to detect it, even with eagle vision. The solution is simple - you will arrive at the place much earlier than planned by the game itself. Solution - find the guy in the hood (Travess) and keep him near him until you spot the killer (using eagle vision).
  3. Can't find the Assassin mission in Nassau? Of course! (the same Travesses again) The task is taken near the tavern (there is only one there) and often its designation cannot be found on the map, because it is blocked by another task.
  4. Rona will give you the task of destroying barrels of gunpowder. Save a huge amount of time - do not go into the courtyards, but shoot at them directly from the roof.

After completing all the missions of the Assassin offices, return to Edward's mansion. The location of the skeleton in the cage on the map is indicated by the Templar symbol.

Templar Keys, Mayan Stones and Animal Hunting are the main objectives for those who want to unlock all the costumes and max out their gear in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. and have unique capabilities: the first, for example, increases resistance to enemy attacks and minimizes damage received, while the second is capable of reflecting metal projectiles. Besides them, there are other things that deserve attention, but they are often less useful and only complement the collection. Most of the costumes are sold in stores for decent money, the rest need to be made yourself from animal skins or earned by completing additional tasks not related to the main plot. These include contract killings, naval contracts, as well as network events (the appearance of white whales, royal convoys, the common treasure and Edward Kenway's fleet), available only in licensed versions of the game provided that there is an active connection to the Internet. Access to Uplay also opens up nice bonuses - things for the main character and items for the ship; the currency used for exchange is points earned during the game.

The easiest way to unlock new clothes and upgrade gear in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is by hunting animals. Regular safari trips to the Caribbean islands bring not only valuable trophies, but also (sometimes dubious) pleasure. The habitats of the animals are marked on the map, but initially the information is hidden; after visiting the island or reconnaissance of the area from the ship, it opens. You can kill animals with a pistol or a blowpipe. The integrity of the skins no longer matters, as was the case with Connor in Assassin's Creed 3, when their price dropped due to poor quality. If you don’t have a great desire to hunt, then some of the skins can be bought at exorbitant prices from traders in any mixed goods store. Hunting is part of Abstergo's challenges and comes with a whole host of conditions that must be met to complete the game. The requirements for making improvements and obtaining new clothes are listed in the “Crafts” section, and their production takes place here. All weapons and armor are stored in the basement of the estate on a hill in Great Inagua, and you can change them at any time in the captain's cabin by approaching the mannequin and pressing the [E] key.
